Running Linux-Mint on my laptop. Trying to run an epson ET-2400 ink jet Printer. Need Driver for printer. I have seen some information about software that needs to be added to "talk" to the printer but I cannot find it now. Please someone help.

Fire Fox will not print (printer dialog box doesnt come up. It just prints everything...and I want to be able to choose how many pages, size, etc before printing. This started happening right after the last update

Not sure what topic this would be under but when I print a webpage from Firebox the info (page # - date and time info) at the bottom of the page will only print the top half, all it shows is the top half of page 1 of 6, etc on the left side and the top half of the 5/10/2025 on the right side, it prints the whole line of info at the top of page. How do I get Firefox to print the whole line of info at the bottom of the page?

After I print a page, Firefox seems to remember most of the options I chose for next time.

For example, if I print using some custom margins, Firefox will default to those same custom margins the next time I print a page. The same for duplex options - Firefox remembers that I want to print double-sided and with "Flip on short edge".

However, it doesn't remember my "pages per sheet" settings. It's annoying because I always print 2 pages per sheet, but Firefox defaults to 1. So I need to change that setting to 2 every time I print. If I forget, I wastefully use twice as much paper.

I've checked in about:config and `print.save_print_settings` is set to `true`. Like I say, most of my settings do get saved, but not "pages per sheet".

Is there anything I can do to set a persistent preference for this?

Yahoo EP has taken over my search engines and blocks any alternatives I choose in settings. Delete is also greyed out. This is viral behaviour but Malwarebytes hasn't spotted it. How to I silence Yahoo EP? Firefox 138.0 64-bit Win 11 Pro fully updated Thanks

(April 2025) So suddenly, after my most recent FF update, if I have a document open in FF and hit "print" and choose "use system dialog box" (or whatever the exact wording is), Firefox Print opens up instead of my usual system dialog box. Why is this happening, and is there a setting I can change to DEFAULT to the regular SYSTEM PRINT dialog box instead.

I do not like FF Print. It prints one page at a time w/ like a minute pause between pages in a multi page document. And when I need more settings, it opens up the HP dialog box anyway, so wtf is the point? I just want my system dialog box back where all my print settings are in one place.

I've enjoyed Firefox and also prefer it for viewing PDF files, but I'm having a monster problem with printing PDF documents:

• When reading the page on the screen it looks like 01 below
• When I try to print that page, it looks like 02 below
• Printing it legal size makes the problem worse per 03 below
• To get it to print efficiently, I have to put two pages on a sheet per 04 below

So to put it politely, WTF?

How do I clear the offending one half page describing some new pdf function that is covering the right side of the printer control page and cannot be removed. This does not occur in other browsers such as Chrome

As the first screen capture shows (sorry it's in spanish), my PDF documents tend to not print on the full page, but rather only on the top left corner of it, i've already fiddled with the scaling and fit to page, i have cleared the printer settings from mozilla, still the same, ive gone into the about:config menu and changed paper_height, paper_width, shrink_to_fit, and scaling nothing works. The document prints fine on Edge (screenshot 2), no problems with fit, and what's even crazier is that some PDF files work just fine (Screenshot 3). Honestly i have no clue what else to do.

I'm a relatively new adopter of Firefox so please bear with me.

First off let me say that my Brother Printer is working fine. Word documents as well as non-PDF documents print correctly and cleanly from 3rd party applications as well as Firefox. That is until I open up a PDF document and attempt to print it and see: "Printer in an error state." Clearing out the print cue and or restarting the printer, does nothing to resolve this issue.

Digging into my system (Windows 11) everything appears fine, drivers are up-2-date, and all other applications that can use the printer do so without issue. Briefly re-installing Chrome, I'm able to print the PDF without issue. Which strongly suggests that this is an issue native to the Firefox browser. Odds are if I'm seeing this issue, loads of other users are as well.

Hi. When I try to print a PDF in "actual size" it prints about 22% smaller then actual size, I have opened this PDF with MS Edge and printed it Actual Size and it prints Actual size. how do I change the Print scaling in Firefox so I don't need to open the "Dark Matter app" to print my patterns in actual size?
