Hi today I opened my linux installation and Firefox is only getting a window with the text:

             <toolbarbutton id="UITourTooltipClose" class="close-icon"
</pre>

I tried to run from the console with the --MOZ_LOG_FILE flag and the generated file has absolutely no text in it.

Hello,

I have two PCs with OpenSUSE Leap 15.1 Linux with different hardware. At the very same time the Firefox browsers stopped completely working on both. By completely I mean one can start them and view pages like "about:support", but any attempt to open a new tab results in a message "Gah! Your tab just crashed!".

It doesn't work in Safe Mode either. There are close to none plugins on one of them, disabling plugins on the other Firefox doesn't help.

It can't be an issue of bad memory or drive or graphic card driver - the two computers are different and it happened at the same time.

It wouldn't even connect to my local router IP address, so it doesn't seem to be some issue with external routing.

It's been about 7-10 days since the issue started. I believe it may be either broken Firefox update or incompatible update of a system component that Firefox is dependent on.

I am used to user Ctrl + Arrow to move in a text, a search bar, etc with Ctrl + Right/Left, and this works with words, or some characters, such as slash or dot (/ .), but in firefox this only works for the words, that is, the space character. I want to be able to move to the next character of those, because for example in an URL like this

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/desktop/

If i use Ctrl + Right/Left, it moves to the end or start of the URL, not the the specific slash, and I would like that behavior.

After change the network connection to cable, or to a different Wi-Fi network, Firefox will lose connection and will be unable to access any website unless its is restated, closing all Firefox windows.

The problem happens when:

1. I have the Firefox opened, I disconnect from wife A, Firefox lost connection, then I connect to Wi-Fi B, all other browsers can connect, but Firefox does not. (if Wi-Fi A and B are from different router)

2. A start the computer disconnected, I open the Firefox, I connect to internet, any other browser that was previously opened can connect, but Firefox does not.

OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20210912 Firefox version (91.0.2. It occurs in the last two years, it is so annoying)

I did a new install of openSUSE and everything worked normally, until I started up Firefox. Somebody decided to improve Firefox so that, once started, it starts itself automatically. That is not very friendly. Now, I cannot figure out how to undo the damage. Googling gets me to look in ~/.config/autostart* directories. They are both empty. Using about:config in the address bar and a gazillion entries. Searching for "autostart" yields nothing useful. Besides, that would only be read once Firefox starts and it should never start until I tell it to.

So, two things: 1) How to I prevent this blasted thing from starting every time, and 2) Please fix your interface so that when you decide to be "helpful" without human intervention, *DO* be humanly helpful by making the undoing of your help more obvious.

Thank you.
