I have exported PDF files to be uploaded to Firefox. When they are uploaded all drop shadows etc. turn blocky. Some fonts do not appear correctly. It is not always the same font and it will just be one line out of a paragraph. It appears to be that Firefox is not handling "over print" correctly. It views perfectly fine in Safari, Chrome, and IE. We have all tried viewing these pages in Firefox and some of us can view them fine, even those of us that are using the same version and operating system etc., one persons will view fine and the others not.
Using Firefox 27 on the Mac. Video on most sites will not now work. I know I am not alone with this problem. What gives?

Why do all my downloads "fail"?

I when I click on a file in Firefox, nothing happens and when I look in my downloads folder, the files say file. I was able to download files yesterday and I don't think I did anything to the settings. It happens with both files that are emailed to me and files on websites. I have tried everything in the Cannot Download or Save Files article so please don't post a link to that. Nothing worked, not even a reset. I would try scanning my computer for malware, but I CAN'T DOWNLOAD ANYTHING. I'm pretty sure this is a problem with Firefox since I am able to download and save files in Safari. I would just use another browser, but all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. are saved in Firefox. This is a very frustrating problem since people send me numerous files everyday that I have no way of viewing!

Hi - when i turned on my mac this evening, (i used it this morning & everything was as usual) a stranger named Eric Diaz's facebook profile has been added to the very front of my bookmark toolbar in mozilla! - can you offer any help as to how the hell this is possible while my mac was switched off all day? Hello, so the crashes had not been as frequent, but I've noticed the weekly crashes occur, and with the reports having similar IDs, I figure there's still something else I'm doing wrong. I've attached the ID for the latest crash and hope to hear something soon. I've already gone through uninstalling-reinstalling my browser and updating my plugins to try to prevent crashes. If there are new suggestions, I'm open to them.

when i try to close tabs, a pop up remains, they are either a fake apple support window, or a mackeeper equivalent, or other financial things. Occasionally when I click on a link, it ignores the link and opens a pop up in its place. These pop ups are like normal windows rather than extra windows that run over - i.e they replace either a tab i am closing or act in place of one. They are just annoying.
I have checked add ons, as it seems like its something that i may of accidentally downloaded as part of a software download and maybe havent deleted etc, but no
I have definitely got my add blocker active and have downloaded an additional add on in response to the issue, to no avail
I did find a way of getting into another preferences part which listed various sites, i typed in something :preferences into the address bar, but am unable to go back in - if that is what it way anyway.

It also happens that a phishing website takes over the website I am visiting. And after a while Firefox crashes. I restored Firefox to its default, but it did not help.

Hi Firefox team. Firefox 48.0 was working on Mac OSX 10.8. . Suddenly Youtube Videos were not playing anymore. Just a blank black screen. Updated flash etc. Nothing changed. Tried fresh reinstall but firefox crashed .right after starting it Not even able to start in Safe mode as crash appears before that. Tried also deleting profile folders in Application Support/Firefox but to no effect.

Lately it has started to do this with that video on the side as you scroll down the screen, as well. Very maddening. No problems on other sites. In Page Info, what does "DCTERMS:issued" mean - the date/time that page was first published?
I'm trying to establish for legal reasons when a page was first published. I think "DCTERMS:issued" is probably it?
