Why isn't there a simple means to remove/prevent searches for the address bar, using config doesn't work.
I've used Firefox for over twenty years, this annoyance will end that and force a move to Brave.

Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. Recently Mint upgraded my FF to v147 - possibly relevant, possibly not. There's no post mentioning anyone having this issue on the Mint forum though.
In my Settings, "Open previous windows and tabs" is definitely enabled, but it doesn't happen. I only get my homepage custom URLs.
I went into troubleshooting mode and FF then behaves.
So I figured the issue must be with an extension - but I disabled all my extensions, and it doesn't help. Only going full troubleshooting mode fixes it.
What do I do next please?

actuellement, mon compte est deconnecte, mes adresse emails apparaissent dans les champs de connexion. si les donnees sont supprimees ou qu'il ny a [pas de compte connecte, il ne doit pas y avoir de proposition de remplissage de champs !

Is it possible to click individual segments of an URL in the address bar to navigate there directly (without manually selecting and deleting the tail)? It's a convenient way to reach upper layers of a website.
For example Vivaldi implements it via Ctrl+<Mouseover/click> (see attached screen capture)

After updating to Firefox 147 from 146, it seems that some areas in page rendering are becoming corrupted.
Using the attached example from https://soundcloud.com/solarstone/tracks, it is possible to see a corrupted song bar. In the other song, where the full bar chart should also appear, there is a black area, which seems like a different kind of corruption where the content is simply not being displayed.
This did not happen in version 146.
Is there anything I can do, or any information I can provide, to help debug this issue?

When I dye my hair in 5 colors, I'm aware that can reduce my privacy. I'm not trying to fit in. I'm trying to make a statement. To put a flag in the ground! Like your logo!
If you are going to make this sort of decision again, can you
not tell me it's for my own good because of privacy?
