I want to prevent Firefox logging me in to Hotmail automatically. I have deleted cookies from the site and checked that Firefox does not have stored login details. Is there a fix?

Normally when leaving Hotmail I click on my user name and am presented with a number of options including "Sign Out". Now no options are presented, but Microsoft Edge does show these options and I can log out with no problem. Can anyone help?

i was working thru emails one day and all of the sudden i can no longer see my folders on the left side to easily switch between them. if i click on the 3 lines on left top it temporarily brings them into view but i need them to stay there all the time so i can look thru and switch to ones i want when i need them.

Hotmail flashes continuously and I can't click on anything before it flashes again. I can refresh Firefox and will be able to use Hotmail one time, but to use it again I have to refresh Firefox again. In otherwords I have to refresh Firefox everytime I open Hotmail or Hotmail crashes.

Hi, have used Firefox for years, but on windows 10 now: Cannot attach files from my PC to Hotmail enails because the explore file windows does not open when clicking attach clip. Cannot save an internet page because after clicking save page from Fierrefox menu dropdown selection, nothing happens. Cannot print to pdf information from pages (as bank statements with print buttons) because of "cannot open file. Access denied" error. Same problem if what to print is just any internet page. NO problem downloading files of any type. NO problem doing any of this with Google Chrome. Have tried many solutions including refreshing Firefox. Antivirus and Firewall is standard Microsoft Windows 10 Defender

Can not send message on hotmail since they change their interface a couple of months ago. But always working when using GoogleChrome. Can not go on my banq sit service for customer eitheir.

I cannot access my hotmail account via firefox, but have checked and there is no problem with my hotmail account, i can access it via other web browsers. Can anyone offer any help as to what the problem might be?

I like a very simple format for hotmail messages, and as many messages as possible on one screen. How can I get rid of the icons that just showed up to the left of each email message and reduce space between lines

I am not very computer literate.

I cannot do anything with hotmail on my mac. i have tried suggested fixes...none which seem to work. i have used hotmail so long that i might just have to switch out of firefox now

When I access hotmail via Google Chrome I am offered a list of the e-mail addresses which my family uses and subsequently having selected one the appropriate password is served up. Can I persuade Mozilla to do the same? If so how?

After taking update of firefox recently I am not able to use my hotmail account, as its links are not working, its style has gone strange look (while its ok on other browser)

I have searched found similar question , but its solution is not working on quantum version 60.0.1. Solution said to goto "about:config" and search for "stylo" and do something after that, but in this version of firefox I can't find "stylo"..

Beginning four days ago, the screen freezes when, having opened an email from a magazine, I click on and try to read an article contained within the email. The screen does not freeze when I go directly from MSN to a news story from the Post or Times or Guardian, only when I'm in my Hotmail account. AND it does not freeze when I access that account using Safari. I know I'm now out of date and unsupported, whatever that means, but I'm told the only solution to that is to relegate this lovely Mac to the scrapheap. Anyway, this new habit of freezing is a specific problem which should have a specific solution short of buying a new computer. Thanks for your help.

First, repeating my original issue: I have a Mac, OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leopard). I can access my Hotmail "Contacts" page using Safari, and at one point it seemed I could with Firefox. Now, I can still get to my Hotmail account with Firefox, but not my "Contacts" page. When I try to, I get this message:

"This page is temporarily unavailable. We're sorry, there was a problem showing this page. We experienced some technical difficulties retrieving the content."

Although I had my OS restored a few days ago, this problem may have existed before that, but I was using Safari, so I may not have noticed it.

Please use layman's terms--I am not tech savvy.

The response from Mozilla was to clear my cache and cookies, but they clear automatically when I exit Firefox. Then there was advice to start in Safe Mode--that sounds more like for a PC then a Mac. I had this very problem last year when I could access my contacts through Safari, but not Internet Explorer on my PC at work. After a few months, IE suddenly connected to my Hotmail contacts, WITHOUT MY DOING ANYTHING. COULD IT BE THAT THERE IS SOME KIND OF DISCONNECT BETWEEN FIREFOX AND HOTMAIL, THAT HAPPENS AFTER GET INTO MY HOTMAIL ACCOUNT, THAT WON'T LET ME GO TO MY ADDRESS BOOK? CAN SOMEONE CHECK ON THIS, SO I DON'T SPIN MY WHEELS TRYING TO SOLVE A PROBLEM FROM MY END, THAT NEEDS TO BE SOLVED INTERNALLY THROUGH FIREFOX/MOZILLA?

When trying to access hotmail.com am able to get website thru google, yahoo but when try to sign in the page goes blank. Also having trouble with a website when trying to access it Service Connection Failed, but not having trouble with other websites

Hi! When I went to my mail today (hotmail) I saw a symbol up in the left corner. It was the lock with a exclamation mark on it. I click on it and then I click on the arrow for more information. It says my connection is not safe. That it's not private. I then click more information ans select "security". I can read about the information but I find no way to change it so it becomes secure and gets the regular green lock without the exclamation mark. I have googled and read a bit but nothing tells me how to change it...

This has been happening everytime for last 4 weeks. Help!
