Why does my search keep changing to Yahoo?

About once a week, my default browser search changes itself to Yahoo and I have to go into Preferences and manually change it back to Duck Duck Go. I have tried all the suggestions in the other answers to this question. I do not have any Yahoo extensions or anything suspicious. I have searched my entire computer for "Yahoo" and find nothing. I do not have a folder for Firefox, or any preferences file, only the application itself. I am on a Mac so Windows answers don't help me.

I can't re-add addons, that I removed from the toolbar, back to the toolbar.
So when I right-clicked an extension (add-on) and I removed it from the toolbar, I don't know how to get the extension/add-on back to the toolbar.

I can use firefox to browse any other sites, but when I ask to go to Outlook, after 2 years of doing this daily, it says it has no program to open it. It feels like it is stuck in some cycle. The only thing I can think of doing was downloading photos the day before and mailing them out directly. Outlook is working fine on chrome so it is a firefox/outlook problem. Any suggestions?
Facebook Messenger audio files will not play in Firefox. They play in Chrome. Audio contained in video files plays just fine

This has been a continuing problem under all Windows versions of Firefox for at least the past 6 months. I'm using Windows 10, version 1803 and Firefox, both automatically updated to the latest downloads.

For some reason i hear sond only on soundcloud :c On other sites there isn't even a speaker on the tab

I am using Firefox as portable app, with --no-remote --profile "%profile_path%". I update it regularly, it's convenient for me to see notifications of new updates and install them whenever I see fit. I recently noticed that Firefox creates a folder on every computer C:\ProgramData\Mozilla\updates, which is not good for the portable version, really. The only way to stop this I found was to completely disable updates via distribution\policies. I don't want to. How do I get firefox to notify me of updates and download them to a USB flash drive (it will be perfect if i could specify folder for this purpose) instead of leaving files on other people's computers?

Standard search with google now displays results in a mobile format on my PC (OP at https://support.google.com/websearch/thread/6794845?hl=en&dark=0 has image and more comments) which is lacking the embedded hyperlinks that were previously returned. Advanced search does not have this problem. I could not find Google Advanced search among the 3,865 Search Tools listed and could nto figure out how to add it.

I'm trying to debug a userscript that seems to be going into an endless loop on just one certain page. The page freezes and never finishes drawing and the script never finishes running.
However, while it's in the loop, the debugger, console, and performance profiler all stop working, as if they're waiting for it to finish. Those are the tools I need to see what it's so busy doing that it never finishes... if they freeze, I have no way of troubleshooting. How do I get the developer tools not to freeze during script execution?

We have a page where we just added <link rel="icon" type="image/ico" href="/other-path/favicon.ico"/> to the header, but while Firefox reads that link and includes the information in the page (can see in "View Page Info" -> Media), the .ico file specified is overridden by Firefox assuming that <page-path>/favicon.ico is where it should find the favicon. Is this the expected behavior? Every other browser follows this pattern, but Firefox does not (since at least Firefox 39 when I did some testing). Should I write this up in bugzilla?

I just installed Firefox Developer Edition last night, as well as the Firefox iOS app. Both devices are signed in and showing up on the connected devices section of my account.
I'm unable to send my tabs to my mobile browser from my desktop, however, it seems to work if I send the tabs from mobile to desktop.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm really looking forward to utilizing this feature. Thanks in advance!

Until recently, I could use the tab key to navigate on websites. Suddenly, the tab key stopped working partially:
- When a website has an input field or a button, using the tab key reaches these fields and afterwards cycles through the UI of Firefox. Links on the website are not accessed by the tab key.
- When a website has no inputs or buttons and only links, the tab key never enters the websites.
I’m using the Firefox Developer Edition 69.0b14 (64-bit) on macOS 10.14.6. Is there something wrong with my installation? Is there something accidentally turned off I need to turn on again?

Has anyone ever gotten this error in the latest update?
After upgradung were lost some bookmarks
After upgrading to a new version some links are dissappeared and some folders are empty now
