I gather this has become a problem with Firefox, so I'm late to the game. I want to use Silverlight 64-bit with a mapping program that requires it, but have not been able to get Silverlight to work with Firefox (I have 64-bit Firefox v59.x and W10). Anyone out there have a suggestion?

I have an old vehicle service manual that uses html, js, xml, and SVG objects populated by js and xml forms. The links on the webpages work, but the images fail to display.

Attached is an example of an SVG file that fails to display in a web browser (Edge, IE, Firefox, Chrome, IETab in Chome (all latest versions as of April 2018). Other SVG files like https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Test.svg work correctly.

I can open the attached .svg file with Inkscape and view the image, but doing this is very cumbersome.

Any ideas on how to get these to display in Firefox? Thanks!

Win8 + FF 59.0.2 (x64) I can play HTML5-Videos I can play Non-HTML5-Videos But I can not play "H.264" and "MSE & H.264" videos with FireFox. When I'm downloading the MP4 Video (i.e.) I can play it within Windows with the media player. With Google Chrome its possible to play all videos but I would like to further use FF. When will come a repair for that - thank you.

This problem appeared suddenly after restarting Firefox. I can't move or drag tabs nor items in my bookmark tab.

I've tried starting it in safe mode, to no avail. I've tried quickly reinstalling Firefox to remove any possible add-ons which would cause this problem, but even that didn't resolve the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Every now an then, since about a year ago, when I try to open a link from Google search results in FF, a web-page appears instead in the form of a virus (but it's not) with a popup window saying "Dear Firefox user, You are our lucky visitor ..." After that, I have to restart FF, otherwise this "thing" goes on. This last time I copied the URL (unfortunately, I didn't take a screenshot!), which was http://vacationdestination.org/maintenance/-/price/-/Deal848. However, it seems it's a fake one, since I could not open it again. (not even just 'http://vacationdestination.org'). I have done a virus check and nothing was detected. Also, opening FF in safe mode doesn't help, since as I said this "thing" is quite occasional and *not repeatable*. I would like please to know if someone has had *the same exact problem* and has solved it. Please don't reply by giving general suggestions like "open in safe mode", "do a virus scan" etc.

I'm on a limited data plan and I need to use as little bandwidth as possible. I couldn't find the option to stop automatically loading images. Is there a way to do this? Using Firefox 59.0.2.

I am currently using Ubuntu 18.04 and Firefox Quantum 59.0.2 64-bit. On some websites, I am unable to select the password field either using tab or a mouse click to be able to enter a password. This leaves me unable to login. However, this doesnt seem to happen on all password fields.

For example on https://reddit.com I can enter username and password on the field on the right. However, if I click on Login hyperlink on 'Want to join? Log in or sign up in seconds.', I get a popup which I am unable to click the password field on.

I have also seen this problem on https://abnzb.com

I have tried to run in safe-mode but the problem persists.

My addons are Gnome shell integration, Enhanced Steam, HTTPS Everywhere, uBlock origin.

Also, to add to this. When I right click on the password text fields, I do not get a menu popup. I am not sure if this is related or not.

After updating to v59, Google captcha no longer displays on the page. An example of the code not displaying is below:

Still cannot log into my bank, due to Firefox saying 'secure connection failed' how many times do I have to ask this, its incredibly, incredibly incredibly frustrating, (saves me swearing) I can easily log in using Google so no point spouting rubbish about insecure certificates. I have used this bank for years and wether I use the link from my favourates or just from google search, I get the bank homepage up, then click log in, I get secure connection failed.

I've also tried deleting the certificate 9 thing as per instructions given before but stilll does not work. Also deleted firefox and reinstalled, still not working, so give mea clue please or I'll post this every day

I think Firefox is writing too much to my S.S.D. and using just the R.A.M. as cache is impossible as the memory rises like crazy. I simply can't multi-tab like prior to 57, but regardless of that, the point is to reduce writes. Due to the crashes because of R.A.M overload, I don't like raising my Session Saving to 20 minutes since the browser can crash in less than that time, let alone I tend to forget my active session when I am doing tons of research.

I had to get a new PC... On the old one the Firefox had an icon in the upper right corner for converting web pages to PDFs. It is not there now and searches return solutions completely unrelated to my question.

I have 2 computers both running the same version of Firefox version 59.0.2 One is running windows 10 and the other server 2012r2. The computer running server 2012r2 the browser when I try to play a video will ask me if I want to open it in VLC media player or save the file. If I choose VLC it will download it into a temp file and then play it in VLC or if I save it it will save it to either my download folder or anywhere I choose If I select that option. On the windows 10 computer the browser will play the video within Firefox. While trying to figure out why it would do this I discovered that the difference was in application option in the general tab. The content type in question is .MP4. On the windows 10 machine .MP4 isn't even an option in applications on the general tab however VLC media file is and it is set to "Use VLC media player. On the server 2012r2 machine .MP4 is an option and I can change that to either download or always ask. On this machine VLC media file is not an option. I don't know if the operating system could be the reason but how can I add or remove content type. Under the MP4 content type there is another action and that is to use other but I don't know what to select there Firefox isn't even an option. How does Firefox choose what content type to populate here and how can I control it?

Firefox became unresponsive and I closed the program. Upon reopening it, I could not restore my previous session like I normally can. This only happened a few minutes ago.

I've have two files that I found in the Firefox folder sessionstore-backups (BAKLZ4 file and JSONLZ4 file) if you need them.
