I cannot access some .mil websites that are accessible from inside the US. The administrators of some of the sites assure me that the sites are accessible worldwide. However, I am currently in Europe and unable to access these sites. The site does have pop-ups, but I disabled the pop-up blocker, and am still unable to access.
The scroll speed is so fast it goes to the bottom of the page before I can release the touchpad button.

I have 10 brand new Dell Inspiron computers running Windows 10 Home. Installed Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.0.2349, Firefox 52 and now 53. Firefox won't open any websites and appears to be locked up while Chrome and Edge work fine. The only way I can get Firefox to work is to uninstall the SEP 14. Obviously not a good solution for my company.
I've tried every solution I could find, proxy settings, firewall settings, disabled IPv6, deleted and added Firefox to the list of allowed websites. about:crash gives me a blank screen.
Have any thoughts or other solutions?

I've been told this is a browser issue. I have looked at all preference possibilities in Bing and Firefox and not found the place to make my search engine preferences -- such as no search suggestions popping up, not filtering results, identifying my location to refine results, etc. -- stay after I leave Firefox or shut off my computer. When I go on line again, everything has reverted to the Bing default.

Using a Macpro running 10.9.5 and Firefox 52.0.2. When I am on a site with an embedded vimeo or you tube video, the videos will not load and play. If I click run, I just get the constant loading circle. If I click along the bottom line, I can see stills of the frames of the videos. But the video itself does not run either audio or video. I have tried it with adlock turned off and on--no difference. I tried going direct to the Vimeo website and logged in, but it would not run. And now it seems that I suddenly cannot run you tube videos at all, even at the You tube website. What's wrong with Firefox? Do I need a whole bunch of plugins? What works for Mac?

The initial opening of of Firefox goes to the proper home page. When I go to the next tab it goes to an address and page that is not the same as the one I have built. It goes to a Package Tracking page. Probably phishing.
How do I solve this problem.

I posted this question before & got some answers (from JSherr2000 I think was the username). Anyhow, I'm closer to finding an answer. With my customized theme in Windows 10, the dropdown menus became black & unreadable as I scrolled down them with my mouse. Apparently, when I use an Aero theme, this doesn't happen. Trouble is, I don't like the Aero theme & I can't make as many visual modifications with a standard theme. I'm not sure why this only happens with Firefox (although I haven't installed Thunderbird yet on Windows 10).
I should mention that I'm posting this from my Windows XP machine & I have the lastest 64-bit version of Firefox installed on my Windows 10 machine.

I have cleared all history items for all time but I cannot get rid of drop downs for logins such as when I go to Gmail and click the user name box. I still see lots of old usernames in a drop down list, many of which are typos. I thought this would come under forms and auto complete entries but apparently it does not. How do I clear logins from my browser?

I have tried four times now to install the most recent update for firefox and it refuses to install on Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 on a Lenovo desktop with Intel i3-2130 processor, claiming that I need at least Windows 7 to install it--which I have. What's up with that? The educated guess box below shows my computer having Windows XP. That is wrong.

I'm on Win7-64 and had been running the 32 bit Firefox Setup 52.0.2.exe.
Today, out of the blue Firefox suggested I upgrade to the Firefox Setup 52.0.2esr.exe.
Why is this? I'm not in some company's network, just a single user at home.
Also - how stable is the 64 bit version - and does this give a speed advantage yet?
I've got 128GB RAM so, memory is not a problem for me.
Thanks!

Using Java you take so out, that no chance is there, to use it. But some programs, very important for me, use Java. Why don't you give any user the chance to use it or not. It's my problem, not yours. But no, you make it like Microsoft, eat or die. So good bye Firefox. I hope, some outher started a new browser, in where I can say, what I want and what not.
