Got the message from Adobe this morning to update, tried and failed. Following their help links it shows how to check that the plugin is enabled in FF. But where it says you should choose Always Activate, mine is greyed out. It says that it has been blocked due to vulnerabilities in older versions and gives alink to update. Tried again from that route and just get the same failed installation error message.

So it seems it is blocked because old versions are vulnerable, but that stops me from updating? My PC is quite old, I'm on Windows Vista 32 bit. Any help appreciated :)

I have Firefox ESR 52.3.0 (32 bit). I want to know whether this version of Firefox supports TLS v1.2 ? Is TLS v1.2 enabled at Firefox ESR 52.3.0 (32 bit) ? Please update us.

The other articles about profiles, backups, recovery, '2017-10-13-12-36-19-82d39f.png',etc., ASSUMEs everyone has the same knowledge background. Also, it took me MANY loops before I was able to ASK this question -- kept getting looped back to the main page & stepping thru the "search" then "do these answer your question" until after some number of tries I got to the blue button allowing me to actually post the friggin question.

I don't think its being controlled by an addon. Many sites tell me its disabled.

This is just a minor annoyance, since I ignore the message, close the dialog and carry on. But it does this every time I start the browser. I haven't at any point been away from Firefox for more than a few days and I really don't want to do the Refresh, the last time I did I had to spend ages re-doing all my settings and customisations, so I avoid "refresh firefox" unless something is badly broken (which it isn't).

The functionality of MultiFox is something I've been needing for awhile in order to log into multiple accounts on the same site simultaneously. However, due to the fact that I also still regularly need Java for certain tasks, I'm currently stuck using FireFox ESR 52.8.0

Is there a similar add-on that works with FireFox ESR? I've tried using a compatible version of "FireFox Multi-Account Containers" but it appears to be broken too.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

This problem only started today. I tried to reply on other threads with the same issue but they're closed.

The video loads but nothing else, no matter how long I wait. I don't use extensions. The only adblock installed is Firefox's inbuilt blocker which I disabled. That made no difference. Clearing cache makes no difference. Nor does resetting the application and computer.

Firefox version: 52.5.2 in Windows

We have about 50 windows 7 workstations and up to 200 users. When users sign on to a different workstation, they have to setup firefox again. is it possible to make firefox use their profile stored on the server inside their user data so they have the same firefox experience on any workstation?

I know there is the posibility of loging into firefox but i want to avoid making 200 people setup firefox accounts that they need to log into as well.

i would also like to force the same firefox version out to all machines.

On Windows system I would like to schedule an export of all my bookmarks on a monthly basis using either the schtasks command or the admin tool task scheduler

Trying to open a website on Firefox and I get this error message...uncaught exception: WebAssembly support is not detected in this browser. Have no idea how to resolve this issue. Is there someone who can assist me with making this correction?

Firefox saves *part files in /tmp directory no matter what settings of file destination are chosen. User might configure FF so it should ask where to save file or choose a specific directory but it doesn't matter to FF during saving of *part file. There are no entries in about:config related to /tmp directory.

FF wrongly assumes that *part files should be saved in /tmp directory. FF wrongly assumes that /tmp is the place with enough disk space so all downloads of files larger than /tmp fail.

How to change or prevent this behaviour?

I have my history set to delete when I close Firefox. Last week I visited a site that I forgot to bookmark and now cannot recall what the URL was. I have read the various entries about how to locate and recover places.sqlite posted here in Mozilla Support. Can someone please explain the next step after finding the previous version of the file? How do I get Firefox to use this restored version of the file?

I have a problem with my eyes so a cursor that blinks on and off can cause headaches. I found a way of stopping the blinking on all but pdf documents on this laptop—OS Windows Vista (!) but have no idea how to go about it on the new Windows 10 OS laptop. Please, can anyone help me?

I'm currently using KDE Plasma on Archlinux and Firefox windows are very laggy when maximized. I have a 4K screen and running Firefox at full 4K causes scrolling to be very choppy and makes YouTube almost unresponsive. If I make the window smaller (about a quarter of the screen or the size of typical 1080p), it speeds up and works normally. I've tried the nightly build, Icecat, and Waterfox and none of them have made any difference.

I use a AMD Radeon R9 Fury X GPU and have the latest version of xf86-video-amdgpu installed and have hardware acceleration enabled in Firefox settings.

EDIT: I've now tried Firefox in Cinnamon Desktop as well as KDE Plasma and they are both equally laggy.
