FireDownload for Firefox 5.0.1.Is there one in development.I do not want to downgrade to use the utilty?

I installed mac os x lion and now attachments for hotmail won´t work. I´ve tried everything. Uninstalling add ons, resetting the user agent string (although nothing was user set), trying with Safari and it doesn´t work neither. I haven´t tried IE because lion doesn´t support PCapplications. I don´t know what to do, please help!

Unless I recall a few months ago incorrectly, I could choose different time periods for clearing History; now only a day or several hours. Is that new, or can i go back to the older technique? Thank you, Paul G.

I tried to install daemon tools on my computer and in the installation process i also got Babylon toolbar and engine search as a default, witch i don´t want. I uninstalled it via the control panel but it won´t disappear from Firefox. How can i uninstall the toolbar so that it disappears from Firefox? Is there a way to delete the toolbar via Firefox?

I cannot search a pdf file in Firefox. I select Edit form the menu bar then Find from the drop-down menu. I then enter a search work in the text box bottom right but it simply turns red and does nothing.

When I display the same pdf file in Internet Explorer it works.

In the past few days I have been getting the following popup when I use firefox as my browser: Exc in ev handl: Error: Bad NPObject as private data!

I assume it came from your latest update. I have windows vista with a 64 bit processor, and I am using the latest version of firefox. I checked to see if I was getting the same error message with explorer and I am not. It appears to be some sort of conflict with java script. Can this be corrected?

When I log in to my pc from start I no longer get my homepage launched (my BT Internet emails) but instead Ask Jeeves loads.

I want to stop the Ask Jeeves page from loading and have my BTinternet emails page load instead as per usual.

Usually the search is in the center of the screen. When I select my bookmark http://www.google.co.uk the page opens with search in the middle of the screen, but I cannot type in it. Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm using Firefox 5.0.1 ; OS is Vista and this weirdness started today 28th July 2011. Any ideas on how to fix this. Please note I'm not talking about google toolbar.

When clicking on a thumbnail image it's supposed to open the same image in a popup window. (i.e. a bigger version of the same image). Firefox displays in the popup box "Not Found The requested URL /undefined was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. However this does work on other browsers? An ideas why this happens? When I click on a link to play a standard WMV video in Firefox 5, in the movie player window it says "Click here to download plugin".

When I click "Click here to download plugin" in Firefox 5, I get a Firefox panel that says I need Windows Media Player 11, but I already have Windows Media Player 12 and the Firefox WMP browser plugin installed on this computer... it worked fine in Firefox 3.6.

If I then click to install the Windows Media Player 11 plugin, it goes to another Firefox panel that says, "No plugins were installed, Windows Media Player 11 - Not Available". Then there is a "Manual Install" button, and when I click that, it takes me to a third party plugin site called "InteroperabilityBridges.com" that has a Firefox WMP plugin available that is dated April 2007.

When I check my "Programs and Features" panel in Windows 7 on my control panel, I can see that I already have something installed named, "Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin" installed and it is dated 10/24/2010, and it is version 1.0.0.8.

In spite of already having the required plugin installed and showing in my Programs and Features panel, this WMP plugin is not showing up on my Firefox 5 plugins panel. So I tried re-installing it with the original installer and the installer that is available from the URL above (they appear to be the same except my original installer has a 2010 date).

I also tried the "repair" option in the plugin installer... it still doesn't show up in Firefox 5 nor will this browser play a WMV file in the embedded test player linked from the Mozilla WMP plugin troubleshooting page, nor from other pages that have WMV players embedded.

So the question is, why is Firefox 5 requiring I install an older Windows Media Player plugin, version 1.0.0.8 from 2007 when I already have it installed?... and why won't it work?

What is the solution? Upgrading again for the 3rd time in the last 2 months is not an option... I'm tired of going through all the troublesome steps of upgrading and figuring out what Mozilla has changed and left out of a another browser upgrade and re-installing the plugins, extensions, add-ons and customizations and troubleshooting everything that doesn't work, as I am still doing now with Firefox 5.

It seems that as soon as I get most things squared away in a new Mozilla browser, then they have come out with three new versions, so when I'm still struggling with version FF5 (as I am now) there will be version 9 that I'm getting constant annoying "reminders" to upgrade to.

I can not display the sudoku puzzle at this site: http://www.seattlepi.com/puzzles/?content_name=sud_classic. I get an error message "Library Load failed Error #2036" I have uninstalled Flash Player and reinstalled and I have uninstalled Firefox, keeping my personal settings and reinstalled. I can get the puzzle using Chrome on this computer. The page displays fine on my other computers using Firefox. Right clicking on the page brings up "About Flash Player 10......" Any suggestions?

The normal configuration for my keyboard is that when I press an arrow key, the cursor moves by one step. Something has happened to my Firefox set-up such that the cursor will only move if the arrow key is pressed for a second or so. How do I revert this setting to normal?

Much as I love Firefox, I'm not overly enamoured with the wee green progress bar that's integrated into the awesomebar in 5. As I have Status-4-Evar installed, I really don't need it, and I find it kinda ugly, to be honest.

Are there any plug-ins or preference options to make it go away, or am I stuck with it until my brain just learns to ignore it?

I had IE. I have many favorites which I organized in folders. Is there any way I can: 1) Transfer the folders into the Firefox bookmark? (I have transferred them, and they appear in Firefox under "From Internet Explorer"--but I want them in Firefox). 2) If I do create multiple folders in "Unsorted Bookmarks", is there any way I can sort them?
