My location bar internet keyword searches result in search.yahoo (powered by AVG) but I'd like to set it to google. I manage to set to bing or something else but when I reset the keyword.URL in about:config page, it does not go back to google, but to yahoo. What can I do?

In older versions of Firefox and in all versions of I.E., there is a link called "Tools" under which we can find "Internet Options," so that we can change our home page, etc. The last two versions of Firefox have hidden this link, and I'd like to know where to find it.

in outlook I click to open a new e-mail. FF opens and a tab appears with a string to a folder: file:///C:/Users/tymn/AppData/Local/Temp/%7B3586F5EB-854A-4DA8-B2F7-8C764B716CEA%7D.html

it appears to be trying to save a copy of the outlook e-mail to a drive. I do not need this, it is annoying. even when i click the box to not show it , it still does it...

Hello, I am switching from IE8 to Firefox. We need to be able to open a new window with the same page displayed instead of going to my homepage. In IE it's called "Open A New Duplicate Window". This feature is very important to us using two screens for web development. Thanks

Yahoo home page does not display properly, while all my other web pages do display correctly. I checked View, Page Style, and it is set to Basic Page Style. What else can be wrong?

All other browsers I've used for searches always change the color or hue of the visited link. I just downloaded the latest Firefox version, but it doesn't do that either.

I want to auto save all my passwords without clicking on the prompt. I am reading there is a way to do that, although its called a "hack" so I am not sure how good it is.

Allegedly I need to make changes to a file called nsloginmanagerprompter.js. But I run a mac and I cannot see this file in my components folder. I run Firefox 5. (Upgrading it results is webmaster tools etc no longer working, which is why I am on an older version still)

Can you advise if I am doing the right thing by trying to do this with a "hack"? Sounds a bit dodgy. And if is ok to do it that way, why cannot I find this file?

What are the KEYstroke(s) used to CLOSE the active tab in the web browser? I am reluctant to use a mouse where I can use keystrokes, as the mouse is a much slower process. In fact, can I find a list of all key strokes which can be used in Firefox, e.g. ALT+S followed by R (once or more) and ENTER used to restore previous browsing session; or CTRL+F to search for a specific word or term? I'm running Firefox 5 with no other issues, on a Windows 7 32-bit laptop. I want to copy my favorites to my work laptop that uses Chrome, but I just can't find the 'export' command in 5!

on Firefox window there is a option of history & in history there is a option of recently closed tabs in which it shows the tabs which i closed most lastly. and now i wanted to know how to delete this memory.

Firefox freezes up whether I've one tab open or five open. I've got plenty of RAM on this laptop, that's not the problem. Firefox worked perfectly until a month or so ago and I didn't do anything different then.

This pop up has been occurring about once a minute when I am on certain sites.

This web page is being redirected to a new location. Would you like to resend the form data you have typed to the new location?

How do I get it to stop?
