fiefox is loading as default width, how do I get it to default height instead ? I can't see toolbars at top, or get to taskbar at the bottom.

Facebook scrolling stalls on 2 laptops and 1 PC with Firefox 41.0.2. I've tried refreshing Firefox, deleting plug-ins, uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, nothing seems to help. My other browser I.E. does not have this stalling problem when scrolling on Facebook. Mozilla does not seem to have a clean uninstall program and the Windows uninstaller leaves old Firefox data and registry items. So I'm currently backing up data on my main laptop and am going to reimage it from a prior clone and see if the older version of Firefox works better. Does anyone else have this problem or any suggestions that might help?

I add an add-on to my Firefox which forced me to change the starting from show my windows and tabs from my last time to "bing.com". this stupid thing make me lose lots of sites that I was collecting to see and discover in my free time, the problem is that I can't remember all of them and I really need them in my work and in my researches I'm doing right now. I need your help to get back all of my tabs before I use that evil add-on. maybe its name was "1-Click YouTube Video Download". and by the way, Kaspersky discovers a malware in that add-on. thanks.
Tabs: no more '+' sign for new tab

Since upgrading to windows 10 a while back, Firefox freezes and becomes unresposive, donst matter whether i have open tab open or many, this happens on both machines intermitantly, sometimes trying to open Firefox dosnt work first time, after waiting several minutes click again and two windows open, I have even done fresh install on desktop incase there was a fault in the install itself.

As some may know, the Australian Government has now started collecting every Australian's metadata on the 13th of October. I am writing to ask if Firefox does, or can, block metadata from being sent or if any addons etc can scramble it or something.
I have no clue as to how it all works but I just really don't like draconian governments watching everything I do. Any help would be appreciated.

A few days ago, I decided to try to use DashLane to help with my password management. Not that Firefox was doing a bad job or anything, but I just though..."what the heck." After about 2 days of trying to get DashLane to quit trying to save every little thing I was working on, I had enough, and uninstalled it.
Since this time, my Firefox passwords have not been working correctly at all. They are there, but unless I input the first letter of the username, the password will not show up. Previously, I have not had to do this at all. I've tried multiple methods that were suggested to others on the forum, but without any success. I'm at a point where I just want to uninstall Firefox altogether, and start over again.
Any thoughts? I appreciate anyone's help in this matter.

It's only in FF, Only in Google search bar. and in most cases after 10-20 min of using FF. every other place I type is fine. I tried: 1. replacing keybaords (both wired, not wireless) 2. reset FF completly 3. remove add-ons. 4. disable "hardware acceleration when possible"
I'm using: - Windows 10. - FF v.41.0.2
Any suggestion? please help, this is very frustrating, and I really don't want to use Chrome as my main browser (mainly because I prefer Firebug over Chrome Debugger)

When I click update, the plugin disappears (I mean it is not displayed in the web site, and there is no error message, just a blank space). When the Wacom tablet is is disconnected, the plugin runs normally. I wonder what the conflict is, and how to resolve it. I can just unplug the tablet evey time I start FF, but that seems inelegant.

I refreshed FF to improve performance and updated to new version but when I go to get any add-on, the list description says "This add-on is not compatible with your version of Firefox because of the following:" (It gives no actual reason for the incompatibility only describes the characteristics of the add-on listed). Then if I try to download one anyway the download simply fails. Using old windows xp home. The add-ons worked fine before I refreshed and I haven't really noticed much improvement in performance. I'm curious about what happened and what my options are now.

I was trying to solve an issue with drop-down menus.
Certain drop-down menus on certain sites such as steampowered don't work in Firefox, even in safe mode; they do work in Safari. Another user was able to fix things by refreshing Firefox.
I have sensory processing issues and need to use video-blockers to use the web. Unfortunately, refreshing Firefox would delete all my video-blockers and other accessibility fixes.
What are my options here?
