When I am at a website browsing, the page automatically goes back to gthe previous page

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

When using firefox I have to sign in to my e-mail every time that I start my computer, but if I use IE I stay signed in . This happened a few days ago prior to this there was no problem. Have been using firefox for over a year did not change any settings.

Firefox no longer opens PDF files. Explorer works OK. I have checked the Applications window in the Tools/Options and it says I am using PDF-xChange viewer....It just does not do anything. I get the message in the Download Error window which says...."could not be saved, because you cannot change the contents of that folder. Is the same error which I get when I attempt to open a PDF file on a webpage using the Firefox browser....Explorer works OK so I am now forced to Explorer to read PDF files via a browser.

Just read an article about launch of "firesheep" It is an Firefox Ad On that permits stealing info from people using Wi Fi. Since Firefox is for security, why don't they block this add on?

gmail manager will only login to 1 account, popup's for my other 3 accounts popup but when I enter my pass word and press ok they just popup again. i can only login to 1 account. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling gmail manager and Firefox as well

I must have accidentally turned on the "Do this automatically for files like this from now on" option, and now can't open videos straight from the web page. Instead I always get the Save As dialog box How do I turn that option off so Firefox always prompts me to open a video file or save it?

Frequently when I click to refresh a page or open an new page I get this message: "The proxy server is refusing connections

Firefox is configured to use a proxy server that is refusing connections.

Tools>Options>Advanced>Configure how firefox connects to the internet Settings> will show that once again, the browser changed itself from auto detect to manual. I change it back to auto-detect and hit save, sometimes it works right away, sometimes I have to do it 3-4x in a row in order for the change to "stick"

When I try to print (print an email, print a receipt from an online purchase, etc.) firefox instead opens the "save as" box and wants to save a .xps file. When I then click either save or cancel, I get an error message stating than an unknown error occurred when trying to print.

I am able to print the same items out of internet explorer, so the problem seems to be tied to firefox and not to, say, my printer.

How do i download more than 2 downloads in "Downloads window"? "Downloads window" only show 2 download and don't show third one and more, They be wait until one of first or second complete.

All of a sudden firefox won't go online, but IE will and all other internet enabled applications. I can't remember why but I decided to restart firefox and it started happening. Actually I remember now, Facebook told me I had to close the browser as it was throwing an error. WHen I restarted, no internet connection. However, I have internet just fine in IE and other apps.

I am trying to find a site I browsed in yesterday, Wed., 11/10/10. My History is only showing me TODAY's browsing history, and no other days. Is there a way I can change my History settings so that I can see at least yesterday's history as well? Thanks so much!

when I go to help it says "Resume downloadingFirefox 3.6.6 ". When I do the Resume the update server is unresponsive and I have to force quit firefox. Is there a version 3,6,6 for Mac. Thanks, Jesper

When I open Firefox, always get box saying Browser Out of Date. I follow instr. to get free update, which gives box saying You have Chosen to open Firefox Setup 12.0.exe. I choose Save option. Then get small window pop-up from bottom of screen saying Download complete. But when I come to restart Firefox still get Browser Out of Date. (not sure what version I'm running now)

I can see the top toolbar with the back, forward, reload etc buttons. I can see the second toolbar with 'most visited' getting started,' etc. But the third tool bar that has 'bookmarks' has disappeared.

iMac OSX 10.6.8 Whenever I try to download an app, although a window appears to save 'binary file' nothing downloads. The Firefox preferences doesn't give the option of choosing a location to save downloaded files, even when clicking 'browse.'

How do I clear the cache in FF without losing all my saved login passwords? I'd prefer to have FF clear the cache upon exiting FF. I have unchecked to box to clear data & passwords, but still I lose my passwords.
