Just installed FireFox 15. Got message that no add on for McAfee Site Advisor. Really like this safe guard. Will it be available with FireFox 15 in the future? when?

My OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit; using Firefox ver 15.0. I downloaded Babylon tool bar and related apps because they were associated with a tool manual that I wanted to review. I then discovered how invasive these apps are. Successfully removed Babylon downloader and Tool bar via Start | Control Panel | program menu. However I notice that "Search the web (Babylon)" is still listed in the drop down menu of search engine options. I have defaulted my search engine to Google, and I can delete the Babylon option, but it returns every time when I close my browser and then return to my FF Mozilla home page. How can I permanently remove Babylon as a search engine option?

Do I have something wrong with my Firefox, or after going to customize the toolbar, why isn't there one to stop reloading the page? When the small window pops up for "customize", there is an "X" after the address bar, as soon as I finish with the "customize" window, it goes away! Will I need to back up my bookmarks and then try another installation without using the old Firefox settings?

That describes the problem. All I can do is click on it and then I get a new google page with a quick search bar in the middle of the page and then I can type into it.

This is new, happened about an hour ago.

I tried deleting firefox and downloading again. Didn't fix.

Don't have this problem with safari.

I understand that after the Firefox 15 update, transparent images have been given a white background (like in older versions). I personally prefer the dark-grey background. Is there any way to disable the image's background?

Perhaps using the about:config module there is an option where I may disable the white background? Thanks.

My pc automatically update Mozilla, and today after the update, it restarted as always, but now I can no longer read my email, do my banking or access any secure sites.. I can open their pages, but take no action. It still work with Explorer, so it is not all the banks faults.

When i try to install a Theme, i click on the Add To Firefox Button. It soon starts to install and then it says installation complete check Add Ons Manager. One i go there i cant enable the theme only Remove it.

At some websites like Huffington Post FFx always becomes slow to respond, sometimes freezes up, and acts balky. When using IE or Chrome there is no problem. I upgraded to FFx 15 with no improvement. I have several extensions installed:

On Google homepage there is a blue bar that reads - "Discover a faster way to browse the web. Install Google Chrome No thanks".

My previous version of Firefox, v14 something, would not display this blue bar once I selected "No thanks".

the "No thanks" has no effect on Firefox v15.

Had Adobe Flash Player 11.3 r300 and it stopped showing videos, etc. in Firefox a few days ago. Now I've installed v 11.4 r402 and it still gives error message "Adobe Flash Player ... has stopped working." I uninstalled, downloaded again and reinstalled -- with the same result. No videos. Firefox Plugin check page shows it installed correctly. Any solutions?

I recently installed FF 15 from FF 13 and when i did, the search engines on the top right corner disappeared. I clicked on the down arrow and there weren't any search engines left. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox at least 3 times and nothing changed. I tried creating another profile, deleting the "sqlite" files from my folder, checked for malware, and updating my plugins but nothing worked. I don't know what else to try to resolve this issue. I would gladly appreciate some help as to how to resolve this problem.

In Firefox (15), Safari, but not Opera I cannot put an item in the shopping cart on the Amazon website. This problem occurs ONLY when buying an item in Clothing and Accessories, where it is necessary to specify a size. If I search and select such an item, like a pair of trousers, the section where the item is put into the cart is dimmed, and there is an instruction to select a size. I select a size and then move the cursor to the point where I can Add to Cart. But this section remains dim instead of turning bright. I cannot add the item to the cart. EXCEPT if I order a belt! A belt has a size, you must specify it, and you can put it in the cart. I DID NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM UNTIL ABOUT A WEEK AGO, after downloading a Software Update that contained an HP printer driver. That issue got fixed by an HP tech working remotely. I have talked to Apple several times, they cannot figure out what is wrong with the Amazon site. I do NOT have this problem on a MacBookPro running 10.6.8. I only have it on a MacPro desktop machine also running 10.6.8. I reinstalled 10.6.3 on the desktop Mac from the Snow Leopard DVD and updated that to 10.6.8 (not including the HP driver on the chance that that might have triggered all of this. The inability to move "sized" items to the cart still persists, as described. Note again, I have the same problem in Safari, but no problem in Opera. I am allowing cookies and third party cookies. I have tried restarting with add-ons disabled. I have deleted Amazon's cookies and then allowed Amazon to re-install them. There is no firewall up. The desktop machine is around 6-8 years old. There are no apparent hardware problems although I only have 1GB of RAM. Could this be a firmware problem? Of course I have the workaround of using Opera or the laptop if I want to buy some socks, but it's annoying to have this inconsistency. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Gene

I just updated Firefox to version 15.0 on the Mac. Suddenly, all of my bookmark folders that are supposed to be in my Bookmarks Toolbar are no longer there, and the Toolbar won't let me put them back there. This is substantially non-optimal. I must say, I'm becoming less and less of a fan of Firefox with every passing update, which saddens me.

I got Firefox 15.0. Usually when I right-click on a Download link, a menu comes up and ask me what I want to do. In this menu I had entry's for JDownloader. They are gone now. Is JDownoloader not compatible with Firefox 15.0?

In Firefox 15 (Linux), if you open Preferences, go to the Advanced page, and select the Update tab, the settings for Firefox Update are missing completely. In my browser, all I see is the "Automatically Update" section with the option for Search Engines.

After an auto-update installation this morning a dialog box appeared asking if I want Firefox to return to its default state. I stupidly said yes and now have lost all my Speed Dial thumbnails, URLs, and saved passwords. Is there a way I can undo this to return to the way Firefox was set up and working yesterday?

I often need to file pdf documents on legal electronic filing sites. Never had any problem with my PC, now with Mac I can log onto the site, click the corrct folder, but all the documents (word and pdf) are gray and none can be selected. I found a "fix" for one ECF site (I have 4 I need to be able to file on) which requires me to go to Applications and select JNLP file. But JNLP file does not show up in the list of Applications. But I know I have Java on my computer. What can I do? Help!! If I cannot file legal documents I cannot even keep this Mac.

Ancestry.com has a search window in the third level tabs bar. That search window allows the user to "find a person in this tree." What is happening is that regardless what size I select for viewing, there are several tabs which belong in the second level tabs bar which have dropped to the third level tabs bar, displacing the "find a person" window tab. It never returns to the proper level. Thus I must always always always scroll to the right to access the "find a person" search tab.

The spacing this problem suggests to me is also manifest when attempting to add records to a particular family member. It does so by taking the entire image and loading it at dead center, thus losing all comparative info in the right side of the image. It simply falls off the page. There is no way to scroll out to it, even.

I've been using Firefox with Ancestry for 3 years without major problems which seems unfixable. This has proven impossible thus far. Can anyone help?

BTW, I have a "SNIP" of the comparative windows between Firefox and IE to share which illustrates the problems.

I don't know what happened. I recently updated to FF15 and while bookmarking a new page it just vanished. It is ticked in the toolbar list, so I can't figure out what's wrong. Please help.
