I tried eveything but found no way to access the store page of a specific extension, am i missing something?

Searching isnt good if it has a simple name as thounsands show up

ctrl+w stopped working. I can no longer close tabs in firefox using this shortcut. I have tried using the shortcut add-on but no matter what combination i use with ctrl+* nothing will close tabs. i know i can use ctrl+F4 but this is very annoying. What happened and is anyone else having this issue??

Any ideas would be so helpful. Did I turn off something on windows??

I was very annoyed to find that Firefox started downloading things to the Downloads folder instead of asking me where I wanted them to go. I checked "always ask" and it still didn't ask. So, I found a solution that involved going into about:config. That solved the problem of never asking BUT now it is both automatically downloading files and asking.

How do I fix this? Why does Firefox require a default save location when I want it to ask?

For a while now, several bank credit card sites are not working correctly when I use my Firefox browser. It did in the past and I didn't have any problems but lately I'm having these problems happening on sites I've used for years. If I use another browser it will work with no problem. In fact after talking with some of the support people at some of the sites that won't work, the suggest trying another browser which works fine. I'm talking like American Express' website which I use a lot. There are other sites other than credit cards that are not working correctly and again, their support agent will tell me to use another browser. I have tried different remedies like clearing cache, history, etc. I only use few addons like AdBlock which helps to cut down on trackers and information gathers. I have set my preferences to clear out my history and cookies. I have used Firefox for so many years without problems and with the same addons without any problems. So what is causing this to happen? I do enjoy using Firefox but if I have to keep changing over to another browser so sites will work, then maybe it's time for me to stop using Firefox.

I am using the newest version of Firefox 121.0.1 and a new checkbox to `Show original variables` under the 'Scopes' section in the developer tools showed up after the newest update when it wasn't there before. When it is turned on, this new feature on the developer tools is causing extreme slowdown and substantially slowing down my debugging time by taking 30+ seconds for my variables to show up in the scope every time I move around breakpoints. Is there any solution to this problem? If not, I would please ask for this feature to be removed or optimized so it doesn't impede with my development time since it worked just fine before and the variables showed up instantly before the update. Otherwise, I will have to stick with an older version of Firefox until this issue is fixed since I use it extensively for my debugging needs.

Starting a few weeks ago, firefox would not load any accounts via https://login.microsoftonline.com/ one one of my Macs.

I was running the latest version 121.xx on MAC 12.7.2

Nothing would fix the site issue, so I tried re-installing and refreshing Firefox. Followed all the troubleshooting steps.

Now firefox is completely broken. Tried creating a new profile. Running in safe mode, etc.

It sometimes will load pages, but extremely slow. But generally is unusable.

Firefox works on my other macs just fine (Profile uses sync with those machines)

Safari and Chrome work perfectly fine. No malware. No ISP issues. No firewall.

Please advise a fix or I guess I will delete everything firefox related.

Hi, when I try to open any PDF all I get is a blank grey screen. My settings are set to "open in firefox" and my default PDF viewer is also firefox. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Since a day or two the font size on my Menu Bar is way too small. I have been searching around and the solutions are not working or not what I want. I do not want to zoom in, I want my page size to remain the same, I only need the font size on the menu bar back to what it was. I tried the userChrome.css method and it did not work

Why do I have TWO Firefox icons shown on my desktop screen? If I click on #1 it says: "Created Tuesday, February 20, 2018" If I click on #2 it says: "Created Tuesday, December 05, 2023" Do I need both? or can I delete one of them? Thanks.

The removal of the download status bar at the bottom of the browser is a major UI failure and this feature needs to be returned.

I spent 30 minutes attempting to download/extract a settings file from an Addon until I noticed that Firefox was silently downloading it to my Downloads folder without any notification that it had started or completed.

The download bar was a known solution for this; The bar itself did not obscure the current webpage, provided immediate feedback on download initiation, progress, and completion. Provided quick access to open the file(s) or find options about the file(s), and the download bar could be dismissed quickly if the vertical page space was required/desired.

The hidden download tray is a horrible design idea, makes it difficult to see if your downloads have started successfully, when they have completed, and how to access them. Additionally, the introduction of 'hint' popups to support this feature actively obscure the webpage you're viewing, making them dramatically worse than the download bar, which left the page completely usable and only required a few pixels of height at the bottom.

This is a major design flaw.

My old email keeps showing up when Firefox is trying to auto fill email. How do I change that in Firefox. Same with addresses, My mailing address is shown in many different ways, all variants of my actual address.

Also, I have some kind of browser hijacker (BING) that keeps directing me to Bing website. I have tried the standard procedures as outlined, bu t still BING often redirects my searches. I am also working with my anti-virus people to try to correct, but thought I would ask you as well. Here's where it took me when I searched for cookies (like you bake in the oven): "https://www.bing.com/search?ptag=ICO-86655dbd68d344bb&form=INCOH1&pc=1AWL&q=cookies"

I am an experienced Firefox Add-On user.

I have installed Firefox on a new build Windows (10) computer. Only 4 of my 8 installed Add-Ons will show on the Task Bar

This is not a problem on my two other Windows machines that share the same Mozilla account for Bookmarks & Passwords. (Other machines are also 4K displays).

I have uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox several times on the new machine, nothing seems to work.

I suspect there is a simple fix, but it eludes me.

Suggestions?

Hello, sir my blog is new update. i use google chrome speed is normal opening blog. i try some firefox open my blog some speed down in opening.

I reset my pc and don't remember password I have logins that I don't have saved anywhere else on this account so I don't wanna reset it normally I only was able to login with login through google and I can prove I actually own the account in anyway other then password cause i changed it a bit ago and just can't think of the whole thing

I reset my windows 10 installation thinking that it would be similar to a "backup and restore", but it wasnt. I wiped out nearly everything I had installed.

I hope that can learn how to load bookmarks from saved favorites folder.

Any help?

I am trying to delete the add on extensions and when I click themes and extensions, manage your add on does not pop up. It is causing problem with trying to download videos with dwhelper because the add on extensions pop up not the video download. Please help. Thanks

I am having a problem with my Firefox homepage. There are several things going on like the red, yellow and green dots on the left side of the menu change to light dark. Some of My Bookmarks appears twice and one was added. I did a Refresh and troubleshooting but to see if my home page would go back to normal but it did not. I think I have a bug that is causing these changes on my Mozilla Browser. I need to get the browser back to normal.
