Every now and then every tab on firefox would just refresh at once. I would be watching a youtube video or just browsing the web when everything just freezes and then refreshes and I would see the loading icon on every tab.

When I'm using my Firefox browser spell checking is working only with English language. Polish is my native language and I want use this function to Polish as well and set Polish as my default language. I tried to adding/removing other languages than Polish from options, setting higher priority to Polish language, how ever I have no result with that. Please help, will highly appreciate. Seems like in a recent upgrade an additional empty toolbar row was added to Firefox. How to remove it? When I view "Customize toolbars" I see the following page. How to remove the additional empty toolbar? I've read other answers to this problem here and see no way to execute those instructions. Thanks!

When typing in the URL search bar I'd like to see ONLY URLs I've visited previously, bookmarks and currently open tabs. If I want to search using a search engine, I'll happily type in the search engine bar. Instead, most of the dropdown candidates are search engine autocompletions, with just a few recommendations based on my search history. Why show any search engine autocompletions at all? It doesn't help me AT ALL but I frequently know there are many more than 3 possible completion candidates in my previous history - and yet I can't see them.

I use Firefox on two computers, synced. Both computers are experiencing this issue. My browser will, at seemingly random intervals, refresh all tabs, which causes me often to lose my work on whatever I was doing. I have gone to about:config and turned off the auto-refresh preference, but the problem still persists. Please help, I don't want to switch to another browser but I will if this problem persists as it is QUITE frustrating.

Vs 117.0, installed this morning, will not "continue to spotify", during the login process to the spotify desktop app. All had been working perfectly over the past few months until today. Was able to connect to spotify thru Chrome, but something get changed/broke in the new firefox v117.0 (64 bit), Win 10.

Hi, Various Sites (sometimes firefox as a whole) keep crashing regularly. I am running Arch Linux (6.4.12, default kernel) with Hyprland WM on an old i7-7700K with a Nvidia GTX980TI. Apart from Firefox the system runs stable. When doing research, or just browsing text based sites, firefox is also very stable, but on some sites like twitch, youtube, or idle games like "Antimatter Dimensions" (ivark.github.io) the browser (or page) crashes regularly. It also happens in Troubleshoot mode, also after a clean re-install (including deleting /.mozilla in /home) and since various versions over the last couple of month. The latest crash report ID is bp-67ed2673-4ed2-452b-bc63-dc1060230831. I know I'm running a niche system, but I really like my setup and apart from those crashes it's amazing, so I hope you can help and point me in the right direction as to what could cause the crashes. I have Firefox installed on two PCs. I see the option to add "Recommended by Pocket" under Settings/Home, but on the other one I don't. Screen shots of both are attached. I have completely uninstalled, cleaned up all Firefox files and re-installed Firefox multiple times on the PC where I don't see the Pocket option but nothing changes. Also gone into about:config and tried making changes from there. I want the Pocket recommendations to show on the Firefox Home page for both PCs.

I tried every solution posted and then I uninstalled and then wiped Firefox. Nothing helped. It seemed the picture would not sync or just freeze with the sound still playing. I came across an old post to change media.mediasource.enabled. Mine was already set on true. When I changed it to false it solved the problem.

I am using some custom SVG icons for my bookmark folders. I had my userChrome.css setup to set the icons based on the folder names, as well as color the icons with whatever the theme color was. This userChrome.css file worked fine in Firefox 116, but no longer works in 117. Now a couple of the icons are invisible, and the rest of them are black instead of the expected purple color from my theme. Can anyone help?

Hola. Mi ordenador tiene Debian 12. Utilizo Firefox 118, instalado a través de Flatpak. El problema que tengo en algunas páginas es que veo las fuentes pixeladas y la impresión es muy defectuosa, hasta el punto de no entender lo que aparece escrito. Esto sólo pasa en algunas páginas.

Si descargo directamente Firefox desde la página de Mozilla y abro la paǵina con una configuración limpia del navegador, las fuentes se ven correctamente; sin embargo, si sincronizo los datos de usuario, instalándose los datos, extensiones y demás las fuentes en determinadas páginas se ven mal.

Desactivé las extensiones pero el problema no se resuelve. Desde una instalación limpia de Firefox instalé una a una las extensiones y complementos, pero no logré reproducir el problema. Borré incluso la caché del navegador, pero nada. Y también sincronicé los datos de usuario en una instalación de Firefox en Fedora, pero el resultado es también negativo.

Alguna idea?

I am unable to log into facebook after inputting my password and 2FA. disabling all addons does not help. It is stuck on the "This was me" screen in an infinite loop.

This issue was introduced by 117.0 Now I must click all URLs twice to get the website visited.

117.0.1 Mozilla Firefox Snap for Ubuntu installed Total Adblock installed Enter URL "my.yahoo.com", the "My Portfolio" page comes up, the portfolio box presents a message: "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again." I went to Settings, Manage Exceptions, entered "https://my.yahoo.com" and clicked Add Exception. "https://my.yahoo.com" it appeared in the Website listing below. I clicked Save Changes. I retried the My.Yahoo tab again and the same error resulted. Where do I need to change what preferences, Yahoo or Total Adblock?

All of a sudden, Firefox stopped showing bookmarks toolbar and website address at top of the page; and it stopped showing taskbar at bottom of page. I've attached a screenshot to show what it looks like without these features.

If I scroll over the top of the page, the bookmarks toolbar and website address appear; but I would like them to show by default. And I haven't figured out how to show taskbar at bottom of page without exiting from Firefox.

How can I restore these features.

I like Ctrl+Shift+B to open the Library (Manage Bookmarks/Show All Bookmarks). For maybe two years I was using this, but it stopped working in 117:

Dorando keyconfig isn't current. Shortkeys won't even install and probably won't do what I want anyway. AutoHotkey will do it, but I'd rather not use it for this.

Does anyone know how I can get a config.js to open the Library when I hit Ctrl+Shift+B?

I must use the magnifier that came with Windows or I cannot read the screen. All was fine until Firefox updated. Now, when I try to use the magnifier, Firefox and all the sites I am using freeze. The entire screen fades out, and an hour glass shows up. But nothing happens after that. I have to go to the task manager and close Firefox, then start it up again.

I checked for Windows updates and everything is current. I am using Windows 10.

How can I fix this?

I just switched to Firefox from Chrome, because Chrome was crashing all the time.

All I want to do is sync my computer, laptop, phone and Ipad's reading list. I want to be able to see an article on one device, add to the reading list, and have it on all devices.

I'm logged in under the same name on all, and it says sync is on, but the reading lists are different.

This morning i restarted firefox and it only opened 3 of the 4 windows i closed yesterday. I've just read about the limit of 3 windows reopened after closing, but now i can't restore the 4th one (it was the manin window with many tabs opened). In history i can't click on "Recently closed windows" and ctrl-shift-n doesn't work. I made a backup of my profile outside of the usual firefox folder. Is there something i can do to restore the 4th windows? I don't mind losing the other windows, but i need to recover the main one. I also tried this tool https://www.jeffersonscher.com/ffu/scrounger.html but it doesn't seem to work with the files inside startupCache.
