I reinstaled windows and donwloaded again mozzila, logged in my account (reseted password cuz i forgot OFC), and when i logged in i didnt get my previus data (history, passwords, etc...) Can anyone help?

I had about 100 tabs open but when I opened up my bowser they had disappeared from the 'Recently Closed Tabs' list and the vast majority don't appear in my History.

How do I recover the Tabs?

When Firefox auto-updates it slows down my machine so much that I stop being able to move my cursor and it often crashes other apps that I have running.

I have a relatively new Windows machine running the latest OS, so I doubt that's the problem.

Since the updates never seem to be anything critical and if there are new features I don't know about them because they've been drowned out by the unwelcome advertising that Firefox hijacks my experience to shove in my face, the obvious solution seems to be to turn off auto-update and just do it manually, when it is convenient for me.

However if there is a critical security update, I don't want to miss it, so I'd rather keep auto-updates on.

Is there something I can do to keep Firefox from horking my computer once a month, or do I have to revoke the auto-update privilege?

To repeat, in trying to connect to J. Lawson site for sending cards I received a message regarding cookies being cancelled through the browser I am using. As I stated above, I am 88 and have very limited knowledge regarding the computer. I wouldn't have a clue to cancel anything. This has never happened before. Could this be the result of Norton trying to update my "drivers"? Thank you for the help and thank you for fixing this. I do not want cookies deleted or whatever you folks call it. .

Running Windows 11 on a Dell XPS 8930. Internet download speed is 100Mb/sec. With every update of Firefox it seems to take longer and longer to launch Firefox and load open windows and tabs. Several minutes of the back and forth ball on each tab. I can launch Chrome and its windows and tabs load almost immediately. What can I do to improve Firefox performance, short of abandoning it?

I installed I don't care about cookies it did not fix removing cookie prompts from websites it just broke the sites so I uninstalled the add on but I am still unable to load certain sites for example Eurogamer the prompt comes up dissapears and then I cannot scroll or interact with the site. I am now also having issues transacting on certain sites as well leading to a white screen I just want to role back to my previous settings so I can continue to use Firefox.

When I click and drag a button/link in Edge and Chrome and drop it in another program, it drops the link. In firefox it drops an img. Is there any way to make Firefox behave like Edge and Chrome?

If I drag this icon in Edge and Chrome, it drops the link. In Firefox it drops a .bmp file.

I used to have LIBRARY and ORGANIZE in the drop-down menu of Bookmarks...They disappeared after having to RESET Firefox a while back. I have tried searching everywhere, settings, etc.

I have clickserve.datasearch affecting Firefox 116.0.2, which causes a redirect on all links. It does not appear in my list of apps and I can see nothing suspicious in the program list, or in the list of extensions. Running Windows 11 MS Defender and MalwareBytes. MSI GP 63 laptop. Google Chrome on same device is unaffected. Suggestions? Thanks.

No videos appear at all on Teachable, just a blank space where video should be. I have allowed video and audio (video and audio work on many other sites). I have cleared my cache. I have to use a different browser to use this site. I have also noticed other sites that have the same problem.

As you can see from the screenshot I don't have the new tab button (+), I've seen other users had the same problem in the past and the solution was restoring it from the customization page, but I can't find it there neither.

Are there compatability issues with microsoft windows? I can't open sites that I have always used. It says there is no connection to the server. Odd since I can get to facebook and other sites using the same server

I have an MS Surface Pro, Windows 10, Firefox is my default browser - all software is up to date. When I click on a You Tube video the screen goes black after a few seconds- the audio continues to play but the screen is totally black.

Hi, why after update to v116 I no longer can use security exceptions? Now I and my colleagues no longer can access dev server because certificate valid only for production servers... So now I can't use firefox for development. I think this update is so stupid...
