In the right hand Bookmarks column of my Firefox, there are three items: Bookmarks Toolbar, Bookmarks Menus and Other Bookmarks (see attached image).

When I do a “save this page,” the bookmark ends up in the Bookmarks Toolbar section. I want the “save this page” page to go to the Other Bookmarks folder. How do I do this?

When I go to my church website, www.universalist.org, it automatically redirects to www.webhostking.net. How do I stop this? Both Chrome and Microsoft Edge block this redirect.

I finally somehow was able to get in my Google account, however i don't know what my password is. Is there a way to seeing my current Google password without signing out,because i'm afraid of not getting back in. Pleas help me. I know that this is a weird question, Thank you.

Recently, the web fonts are not displaying properly while using Firefox. This is not an issue on Safari or Chrome. How do I got about fixing this issue? I've attached an image to show how fonts are displaying currently.

The below live thread has always, since the start of its creation back at the outbreak of the war (so Feb/Mar 2022 time-frame) loaded slow and continues to load slow in FF (all version since then until now) and it loads a lot faster in Chromium based browsers. I've never personally dug into the page loading, but some aspects of how it renders embedded tweets seem super slow, and that's nothing to do with any changes Elon has made recently to Twitter/X... like I said, it been happening since Feb/Mar 2022 when the live thread was first created.

I just think that live thread is a great test case on where Firefox can measure and maybe improve some page load and render times.

I cleared all history from my browser history and no I can not get pages to load. Or if they do open, I am unable to click on any section. The only exception is that Firefox seems to work normally if I use Private Browsing.

Just updated my firefox browseron my windows laptop and lost my sync to my iphone 12. I followed the directions to set it up but my iphone does not have "sync and save data" in the menu of the IOS firefox app. Any advice?

Audio on my PC works except on the firefox browser. The browser is not muted, I've checked the volume mixer, i've reinstalled firefox, but nothing seems to work. This just started occurring a couple days ago. When I restart the pc, i will get audio from firefox for a couple seconds then audio stops.

typing does not match keyboard When I type a character I get a sequence of qwerty keyboard symbols from hitting the same character. for example when hitting "a" I get the following (I must cut and paste to get my typing in this support page. 34567890-=qwertyuiop[]asdfghjkl;'`\zxcvbnm,./-+\123456789

Today 05-08-2023 when useing Firefox, im no longer able to use enter key to execute a simple google search. But it works fine on Edge. I don't want to be forced to switch to Edge, how to i fix it?? it just happened randomly. More precisely it's the center of screen search-bar that don't work. I can still use the standard (top) search-bar

I have already tried to update it, close it, nothing works. And i would really like to not lose all my settings by uninstalling it.

Hi - After taking the suggestion to re-install a fresh copy of FF, I keep getting something to the effect that the FF profile is missing. After spending too many hours trying all the leads provided online, and not being too familiar with some terminology, I am bewildered. Instead of a simple set of instructions, I am tasked with deleting something. Wha?? I don't wish to delete something, I simply would like to dump the contents of the old data file that appeared when I re-installed F back, and be rid of the nag. Had I had been warned that this problem would occur, I would never have re-installed FF. I wound up with something that contradicts its premise; delete what? The title to Restore FF Profile is misleading. Logically, here should be a link to click on to re-install the old files, or better yet, they should have been installed automatically. The file folder raises the question, why even have it? It's useless. If it had a list of extensions that were deleted, it would be helpful. Luckily, I hand copied the extensions, recalling that many years ago, they disappeared down the rabbit hole, never to be seen again I apologize for being ungrateful, as FF and the work done by volunteers is most appreciated. but wasting what little time I have here on earth is not good for the psyche. If there is a simple, understandable solution, it would be most appreciated. Thank you, Nick M.

I've been having issues with Firefox since the latest update. Currently using Windows 11 on Lenovo compact PC.

I cannot load any Google related website and some other specific websites, including Instagram, Airtasker and Youtube. All documents on Google drive are inaccessible, Gmail cannot be opened and Instagram is only showing feed from yesterday. Google Maps appears to be working fine but I'm not sure if this is just luck. It seems all saved content (via cookies?) are normal, but I cannot get any real time update.

I've tried removing cookies for Google related website but it does not work. Have also reboot and restarted several times. I would want to avoid reinstalling Firefox as it's time consuming and I might lost all my saved logins.

According to this support page (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/sync-custom-preferences#), setting ``services.sync.prefs.dangerously_allow_arbitrary`` to True will sync all my preferences.

I have set it to true on the two devices I want to sync (2 desktops, Windows and Ubuntu). However, the preferences are not synced. For example, ``browser.compactmode.show`` keeps its default value "False" on my Ubuntu installation, despite it having the modified value "True" on my Windows installation.

I have tried pressing "Sync now", and restarting the browsers - to no avail.

Could anyone tell me what am I doing wrong?

When I enter a text in the address bar and press the 'return' key nothing happens given that all of these are true:

1. I'm connected to Mullvad VPN
2. I'm using Firefox
3. Address bar default search engine is set to 'Google'.

So to give some examples: 1. If I'm on chrome and everything else is the same as above, it works. 2. If I'm disconnected from the VPN, and on firefox, it works. 3. If I'm on VPN, and using firefox, but I set the default search engine to 'duck duck go' it works.

I tried all the steps in the troubleshooting guide here - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-and-diagnose-firefox-problems and none of them worked for me. I'm quite confused about the issue here.

What could be wrong here?

I'm attaching a screenshot of what happens when I type text and press 'return'. Literally nothing happens, not even a 'webpage loading spinner'. Also attaching screenshots of network settings.

When I use a vpn with firefox (not the firefox vpn), I cannot open normally blocked websites such as twitter or youtube, and instead they open in a sort of half-loaded state (see image). I don't face this problem with other browsers. I have tried deleting and reinstalling firefox, but it doesn't seem to work. Can anyone help out?

Today's FF 116 update What's New page shows a Support video about P-I-P and asks us to hover over it and play, yet I see I see no P-I-P icon either on the video or on my browser as promised. 5 AUG 2023

Just FYI, these two add-ons now cause problems when loading some web pages. Just started this AM (8/5/2023):
