Just now, as I was in the middle of something, Firefox popped up a usage tip about tabs. I find this disruptive. Is there a way to turn these off? If I want to know how to do something, I'll look in the help.

It's fine when you create a new feature to display a tab when I first launch after an upgrade, or to have the Help menu show a Latest Features item, but please don't interrupt my work with pop-ups.

For the moment, I don't see anything in Preferences about this. Is there an about:config setting I can add to suppress this feature?

I added an Add-On to try it called [by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox] Notes by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox which I have since removed as the Add-On has corrupted my Bookmarks. When I click 'Show Sidebars' my Bookmarks don't show (thought they are there) but it's as though the font is white making it impossible to see them.

If I click Bookmarks I can see them and/or when I click on Manage Bookmarks that option opens and I can see all my Bookmarks. This only happened after I added "Notes by Firefox by Mozilla Firefox" Add-On. I was thinking there could be possibility it could have been caused by changing the appearance to Dark Mode, (for example Facebook or Twitter, etc).

There must be a better fix then to refresh / restore Firefox to its default settings as I have about 90 Tabs Open

Hello There, I would like to know how to increase the font size in the firefox browser where we type in the address (e.g www.mozilla.org)

Attaching a screenshot which clearly shows the address bar displayed in a very small font. Can you please tell me how to increase the size.

I am developer. I created the sign up form, when I am using Mozilla. I faced this error:

message: "Request aborted", name: "AxiosError", code: "ECONNABORTED", config: {…}, request: XMLHttpRequest }.

I checked it with Chrome and it works very well. It seems Mozilla has issue.

I can stored my data into database using Chrome. Therefore, I suggested you for developing purposes, never use Mozilla. Unless, you have solution.

I'm just reinstall my windows 8. But, i don't know why the firefox appearance are weird and difficult to used because of the appearance. What should i do? Nb: It looks normal on "troubleshoot mode".

My firefox browser keeps crashing 7-10 times everyday . Sometimes it forces me to reset firefox then login back to my google accounts and extensions . It is very frustrating to login everyday specially google accounts as it requires 2-Step verification .

I feel nostalgic using firefox because I have been using firefox since my childhood started from 10 years ago when I first start browsing in the internet . I have not moved to any other browsers ever since . It might found to be a bit funny that I grew some emotions using this great browser and I believe the issue can be fixed .

If the crashing issue is not fixed then I am afraid that I may move to using other browsers and that looks a lot easier than facing the issue .

I am using firefox for windows on a 64bit windows 11 pro . System info screenshot will be added with this report . Please consider my situation in a bit serious matter and hopefully I will get your response asap .

I'm using Windows 11, Firefox 106.0.3. I have already selected "always ask." I do not see any way I can change the thing that says "Downloads." I see that there is a suggested fix, and I also see that an apparently knowledgeable person has advised against using that fix.

This is very basic browser functionality, and being unable to save to particular folders adversely affects my productivity. Is this issue being dealt with? What problems can I expect to occur in the future if I make the suggested fix?

The problem that Google Maps goes black after a few seconds was reported here a couple of times.

I have a variation of the problem in that it appears only when I connect my laptop (Lenovo P15 with Nvidia Quadro RTX 3000) to an external monitor. After connecting, the only way to get Google Maps to work again is to close Firefox and restart it. Closing and reopening the tab or force-reloading is not sufficient.

All my bookmarks have disappeared from bookmarks. I restored bookmarks in the menu folder but my bookmarks in the bookmarks toolbar are still missing. How can I get my bookmarks in my bookmarks toolbar back?

HELP!!! Tell me how to DISABLE the back and forward arrows that now come up on the left and right sides of the Firefox panel from out of nowhere. They keep destroying my work even though I try my hardest to avoid them! They have my swearing at my computer.

I have a couple of desktop/laptop devices synced with the same account. When I make a backup/export of my bookmarks in each device (.json/.html files) the checksums of those files don't coincide between devices. Nevertheless, if I open the exported HTMLs in Firefox and save them as Text Files, the resultant files have all the same checksum (sha256sum), i.e., are all the same.

Is this how it is supposed to be? Or should my bookmarks JSON/HTML files be exactly the same in all devices and something is wrong?

Firefox 106.0.1 (64-bit) my notebook is a Dell Vostro15 3000 with Win.11 pro (version 21H2) The Yahoo mail tab, which I have always open, keeps closing unexpectedly but I can't figure out if this happens with an exact action of mine. I believe it closes either when I read a yahoo mail or view an attachment, but also randomly even if I am visiting another irrelevant page on another tab of Firefox, when I suddenly discover that this exact tab (yahoo mail) has been closed. This never happened on my previous NB with win 10. Is this a win 11 problem?

HI! I am a Firefox user for many years, but I am encountering now problems I never had. First, before the opening of an address I get a message "Transferring data from assets.adobedtm.com" and it takes a while before I access the site. Problem 2: in Firefox settings I see a message: "your browser is being managed by your organization" But I do not belong to any organization!!! Furthermore I see a link to "ImportEnterpriseRoots" classified as "active" and "true". What the hell is this? I hope you can help solve those problems. In the meantime I will use Edge... Recently the V-like icon/button appeared at the right-hand end of the top line of my Firefox windows. This Tab Search could be invaluable to some, but I have no need for it. If I start to get too many tabs I just use another window. However, I click on it constantly when I intend to minimize the window. I have been clicking on the - icon/button in EVERY WINDOWS APPLICATION since Windows began, and as it has ALWAYS been the LEFT-MOST item in the UPPER RIGHT CORNER I haven't had to think about it in decades. But now it isn't the left-most, that is now tab search.

Please, please, PLEASE provide a configuration option to remove Tab Search from the top line.

I'm attempting to migrate my Firefox (106.0.3) profile from the Linux Mint V20.3 on one SSD to a new installation of Linux Mint V21 on a separate SSD. I'm using the information supplied on this page:

Step 4, under Backing up your profile says: Right-click on your profile folder (e.g. xxxxxxxx.default), and select Copy.

This folder, qspfoqtl.default, contains 1 file, named times.json, the contents of which are:

Clearly, not my Firefox profile.

There is, however, a folder named nnob5aww.default-release that contains a bunch of directories and files (505.4MB) with names like bookmarkbackups, browser-extension-data... storage, weave.

Is this documentation incorrect as of this release of Firefox? And, should I be using the nnob5aww.default-release folder as the profile? I'm a little confused. (Most often, I'm a lot confused.) Any help would be appreciated.

My Manjaro is XFCE Desktop. Firefox Netflix subtitles were extremely small (unreadable). I just inserted a different desktop "Gnome" on the same Manjaro installation. It is the same Manjaro installation on the same computer but a different desktop I was playing with and I can switch between desktops. The problem disappeared with the Gnome desktop. Going back to the XFCE desktop the problem was still there. I never came across the relationship of the desktop to this problem in my readings. With Google Chrome on the XFCE the subtitles were readable. This is not a problem for me since I could use Google Chrome even though Firefox is my Browser of choice. For some things I must use Google Chrome like my US Army retired finance because Firefox is not recommended and doesn't work right. I do not like that the email address needs to be signed into to change things on Google chrome. On Firefox I just have to establish a local password. I am providing this for your information because I am able to use the computer to watch Netflix on my Manjaro XFCE setup. This information may help someone to find a solution if they are interested. I am going to have to see if there is some package that I can add to XFCE to correct the problem.

When I go to YouTube channels I have saved, I usually click "videos" and it goes right to the videos and the latest ones are shown first with 3 across.

Now when I go to my saved channels, there are only 2 rows, not 3. When I click on "videos" it shows older videos and not very many. I have to click on "live" to get the rest of the videos to show including the latest ones.

I have no idea how to get it to go back. As far as I know, I haven't changed any settings. I really hate the new view and only seeing older videos and only a handful at that.

If it wasn't for the extension YouTube Watchmarker, I would probably only use Safari. I love being able to see which videos I have already watched via this extension. It's a big help.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
