When trying to get to my email at currently.att.yahoo.com, I get the following:

  oidc.idp.clogin.att.com

meaning I go NOWHERE!

When I use Microsoft Edge, NO PROBLEM.

This starting happening over the last 3(?) months. When 105.0.1 was installed, I got to email; THEN POOF! no more acess. Strange.

Any ideas???

The issue I am having is that I wiped my old iPhone before disabling two factor authentication. I am not able to login because Firefox wants a code from my old device.

Please advise.

some firefox has kept my username and password for my bank.

i go to that page and they are both prefilled. I have tried to use the password manager to remove them but failed. I did find an entry and clicked to remove it but it still does it.

How can I get this out of the system? Pretty serious, eh?

And it is firefox, not cookies. I have a cookie manager and there's no cookies for the site.

I'm signed in on desktop and phone (they are synced), but I forgot my password, and I don't have a recovery key. I want to reset the password to avoid losing data, just to prevent. If I back up my desktop profile, then reset my password, will this backup be enough to recover all my data? Or is there something that it's stored just online/on cloud by firefox that won't be recovered?

I need to reinstall firefox totally and I cant due to it says my password is incorrect even though it is saved in the browser. I have massive issues suddenly i cant correct and I have things i cant lose by reinstalling as a new user Ideas  ?

When going full-screen on video, the browser doesn't show the full-screen the first time.

For example, when I want to view a full-screen video on YouTube/Disney/Netflix/Prime Video, I select the full-screen button as usual. However the top left-hand side corners always show a thin blue hue. The thin blue hue only goes away when I leave full-screen and re-select it.

Any ideas on what might be causing this? My browser is up-to-date

disable pop=up sign-in with google prompt LAPTOP WINDOWS 11 FIREFOX 105.0.3 64-BIT 1. Over the last few days I have been getting a sign in with Google prompt on most websites I visit. Please refer to the photos. This looks identical to the Google generated promt, however in my Google account settings I have this option turned off. Is this a Google bug or a Firefox thing? With all the other annoying popups these days, this is just another irritation frustration to view a website.

I DON'T WANT TO CLOSE THIS POP-UP BUTTON EVERYTIME I GO TO LOG IN AT TWITTER, IT'S NEW. I HATE IT. HAVE DELETED TONS OF UNKNOWN FILES IN MY USER FOLDERS TODAY, NOTHING HELPED (LOCAL/GOOG FOLDER & TEMP FOLDERS). MAYBE I NEED TO RESET SOMETHING IN CONFIG OR A REGEDIT SETTING FOR FIREFOX. I seem to have that bug that was fixed a few updates ago where videos won't play. I have the latest version of Firefox. For example, YouTube will load and the page, progress bar and even subtitles will show, but the video will just have the spinning circle. I have tried videos on other websites (Facebook, Tumblr) and they won't play either.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox, refreshed Firefox, disabled all add-ons, allowed autoplay of videos/audio but nothing works. The videos all work on Chrome and Edge.

I'm confused about sync when it comes to sessions. Sessions is not one of the options.

A few days ago, I open Firefox and my profile was broken. Nothing worked in the way of toolbar addon buttons, contest menus, etc. I narrowed the problem down to the session store files.

The session was still present. I could scroll thru it, and select tabs, but hat was about it. Fortunately I was able to get things back working again in a fresh profile, but it was a tricky exercise.

My desktop sessions sync with my phone. Is the re a way to perhaps sync sessions, and do it recursively so you don't get a mess with duplicates and discarded tabs?

I used to to use Tab Session Manager until a couple years ago when it began destroying sessions, and there was no way to retrieve them. Even the supposedly repaired version couldn't reverse the process. Had something to do with the sessionstore-backups folder, so I don't know if I can trust it now.

I want to disable ad blocker. I actually want to see the ads. Since I did the latest update, ad blocker is turned on, and there appears to be no way to turn it off. How do I disable it?

I downloaded upgrade Firefox. I clicked replace. The new version was not compatible with my operative system. I then uninstalled Firefox with Clean my Mac. Too fast.

Now I have upgraded my operative system and have the newest Firefox. It works but I have lost all my bookmarks, website history, data, cookies - everything that makes it easy. Biggest problem is some lost passwords that only my old Firefox remembers..

Is it possible to restore this somehow? Please say yes and describe me how!

Spell check doesn't work at all. It doesn't show incorrectly spelled words, and there's nothing in the write click menu in text areas. I have it turned on in settings, and I have a dictionary installed.

I need to know how to stop firefox from automatically downloading every PDF file I look at. I’ve tried all of the suggested fixes on Mozilla and various other sites to no avail. None of them work. I’ve tried the following:

Going into settings, downloads, and checking “Always ask you where to save files.” Didn’t work.

Going into settings, applications, and under PDF, choosing “always ask.” Didn’t work.

Going into settings, applications, and under PDF, choosing “open in firefox.” Didn’t work.

Going into about:config and changing browser.download.alwaysOpenPanel from true to false. Didn’t work

None of these fixes stopped firefox from automatically downloading pdf files. I can’t just click on a pdf file to look at it without firefox downloading it.

I’m at wit’s end. My recylcle bin is full of unwanted pdf files.

Please give me a solution that actually works. My version is 105.0.3.

After updating Firefox this morning on my main PC, I noticed that it didn't ask for my primary password.

I then noticed that it wasn't filling in passwords automatically.

My primary password has disappeared as well as my stored passwords. When I try to set a primary password it tells me that it can't change the password.

I tried creating a new profile and that didn't fix it.

I can use firefox on other devices and all the information is there. But I can't get my passwords on my primary PC.

How do I fix this?

i'm running Firefox 105.0.1 (64-bit) on a Win 11 PC.

I am using a Windows computer. Is there a way to change the two finger swipe to go back (or forward) a webpage to a "THREE" finger swipe? Two finger swipes interfere with other things that I may be trying to do on a webpage. I often find myself scrolling through tables (using two finger scrolling) and then if I scroll too far in one direction it goes BACK to the last webpage I was on. This is super frustrating!

I know how to disable the two finger swipe using about:config. However, if it can be changed to a 3 finger swipe instead, that would be a huge help.
