I am running with ubuntu 22.04.5 (linux)

I am trying to reduce the width of a panel which is on, say, firefox home. I can easily change the height of a panel (just put the mouse on the edge of the corner or top of the panel. However, when I put the mouse on the edge of either side of the panel nothing happens. I want to reduce the width of a panel and I cannot. Should add that the mouse turns into a resizing thing for all panel - it just doesn't work when trying to change width)

Thoughts?

On your homepage there are 24 news articles... is it asking too much to have 12 of them from non-far-left news agencies instead of the 20 far-left and 4 neutral? Or maybe you don't care about the 50+ percent of right leaning customers. Need a Bud-Light lesson?

On my company's Outlook (365), when I start a new email the font on the first line *says* that it's Calibri - like I set in my email settings - but it appears to be an entirely different font. Also in Outlook, when I type 1st it changes the '1' and the 's' to superscript, makes the 't' regular sized, and will not allow me to place a space after the 't'. I have to hit 'enter', then space, then continue typing and then go back and remove the 'enter'.

In OneDrive, I'll open it from the 9 dots at the top left of Outlook and OneDrive will load. However, a moment later it often asks me to 'sign in', even though I've clearly been signed in for some time. Sometimes I can bypass it, but often the page won't work right until I click the 'sign in' pop-up. Then, it disappears, refreshes the page and it works fine; without me actually signing in.

I bring these two issues up at the same time, because they began at the same time. I believe it started in January or early February, if that helps. I waited to seek help, expecting it could have been caused by a recent update that would be corrected later. I recently saw that Firefox released an update and my browser auto-updated, but the issues persist.

I've reached out to Microsoft for support on this and we found the issues only occurred in Firefox, so I'm here to ask for some help, please.

The latest Firefox does not load programs that used to work with it. That is, this used to work:

    http://email.pollking.com/view.asp?id=272870&d=&u=jjpurdum@yahoo.com

and now locks up the page. It also fails on a daily trivia question. If I run under other browsers (e.g., Opera) they work fine. This makes me think it's some setting in Firefox. I'm not sure, but I think this started after a Firefox update.

I'm running Win 10 (Home) with 32GB of memory on an i9-12900K running at 3.19GHz

I was shocked to just now review "permissions" for the 2 Firefox extensions I have installed - an ad blocker and an RSS feed reader - and see that both have "Access your data for all websites" permission.

Looking that up, I found that means, "The extension could READ the content of any web page you visit, as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as USERNAMES and PASSWORDS!"

Seriously?

I realize Mozilla can read login and password info, but why in the world does an ad blocker or feed reader need the ability to read logins and passwords?

I realize login data may be practically impossible to separate from other FORM data, YET neither an ad blocker nor a feed reader should need to read page FORM INPUT data anyway!

Looks to me like Mozilla is being way too lax in allowing extension permissions not needed.

In particular, if any extension can read account login and password data, there should be a pop-up warning, and IMO such should not be allowed where not required.

Yesterday all my browser extensions were disabled. They are very important to me. I accept and understand all the risks. I beg you, please let me use these extensions. Please help...

I access google drive through Mozilla Firefox and also zip file or other file download but since 1 to 2 weeks i faced issue to download files especially js file.How can I solve this?

Firefox will not update when I click the restart button. Firefox restarts but does not update. Closing Firefox manually (X) several times did not help. I had to restart my laptop and then Firefox updated. This started happening the update before 136.0.3, which is my current version. I don't want to keep restarting my laptop every time there is a Firefox update, which seems to be happening more frequently.

I don't know when it began but on 136.0.3, I'm experiencing choppy playback of 4k/24fps video. 60fps works fine, as do lower resolutions of 24fps content. I confirmed that YT is using the VP09 for playback.

i cant open a new tab.. and since i cant open a new tab. i have realized how many times a day i click open a new tab. its starting to annoy me . when i see a youtube video i wanna watch. i right click on the video. the first few lines are blanc. and when i click open in a new tab.. the new tab option is in a different place. the first few options say add to dictionairy and remove from dictionary .. it makes no sense., help me

Firefox says that my blog on Blogger.com denies access because the site is "risky". I cannot figure out why. I have deleted many posts to make it shorter. I have even changed the format to a more modern one. But I cannot figure out why it is now a security-risky site. I have been using it every day for many years. There is nothing in my content that is risky. So some security link has failed. Please advise.
