Have you considered/would you consider integrating Firefox's in-browser push notifications into the Windows 10/11 notifications system? I ask because the notification timeout is really fast if there are many notifications, it's impossible to properly read them all before they disappear and there's no obvious way to view notification history if at all. Also, if there are more notifications than what can fit in the available screen height you just don't see them. Additionally the Notifications are still white even when on a dark theme, this seems like something that should have been addressed a long time ago already.

Good Day, Firstly thank you for maintaing such a awesome browser!! :)

I would lik to add a feature request. Ive googled and searched the get help form and dont seem to find any solution.

When i right click on an email i get the option to copy the email to my clipboard ("Copy email address"). But if i right click on a phone number link i dont get a "Copy Phone Number" option. I have to resort to "Copy link" which copies "tel:000000000". This is very frustrating when i have to copy alot of info from a wordpress order to the courier companies website. I first have to copy the link and paste it in a new tab so that i can then only select and copy the number part.

Can anyone please direct me to a option to enable or a addon to add.

Thank you so much :)

I'd like to request that the same versions of the Firefox files have the 32bt or 64bt designation in the name. When downloading directly FF Standard and FFesr for my 32bt and 64bt computers/laptops, I can't tell which is which in the download folder, and so I have to download them all over, this time waiting for each to download so I know which it is, and then rename it, and then downloading the other bt version.

(For example: the file "Firefox Setup 91.5.1esr.exe" could be 32bt or 64bt file, both download with the same name. The same with FF Standard et al.)

It's tedious to do the renaming but I prefer to know at a glance which is which in my archive folders. . . Been doing this renaming for years. Just thought I'd finally make a request. I believe it's the same issue in the Linux and iOS 32bt and 64bt versions--they look identical in the download folder. Thank you.

I really do like the new colors and I switch between them often. What is motivating you to remove them starting with Firefox 96? Do I really have to turn off auto update to make sure I have my favorite Colorway enabled before the update?

You've adopted two common phrases and tried to apply them to Colorways:

1 - "limited time only" - This usually means you just have to acquire it during a limited time window; you don't lose it after the time window has passed.

2 - "limited edition" - This usually means a limited number of people can acquire it.

Based on my understanding, neither phrase applies to your Colorways offering.

Would you please reconsider? Mozilla is one of my year-end charitable contributions; does that give me any more clout? :)

Hello.

Up till recently it was possible to have the FF scrollbar width controlled by either a GTK theme, or by various extensions that existed. Recently this is no longer possible on both Firefox and Thunderbird and we are forced to accept a pencil thin scrollbar that someone has decided is 'the thing'.

As someone who suffers from visual impairment I have found this move to be a major pain as it is now almost impossible to get 100% scrolling accuracy as I have been accustomed to since forever. I don't need super large fonts or monochrome this and that, just simply what works when one cannot see properly any more.

I can only assume that you feel that anyone who is not perfectly sighted is beneath your concern and have decided to exclude us from use of your products. This is a shame and I do suggest that you could do yourselves some good by stepping back from this highly exclusive attitude.

In the Logins and Passwords settings, you used to be able to "show" at the logins and now there is only an option to copy. This"show" option helped if I was getting my password from the desktop for another device, or setting up a device. Please bring this option back.

I would like to be able to take a short look at the pw's without copying and pasting them into some random page to see what they are. That seems a lot less secure.

Thanks

I really miss the ability to have a "Save As" choice when i download pdf's or pictures from the web I'm always on the latest version of Firefox but only gets 'Open', Open with' and 'Save'...

Often the downloaded files gets lost in the wrong folder or hide itself with a crazy name that 'the web page' has given it.

AS both Google Chrome and Windows Edge offers that possibility and has for long, please include that feature in the next update...??

Thank You

First off, I tried to submit this using the "Submit Feedback" feature of the browser, but it's disabled right now, so I can't. Hopefully this works, or someone can tell me another way to request a feature from the developers.

I also know that I can use the Master Password feature to protect my passwords, but that's too extreme for my liking. I'm looking for a middle ground, where I don't have to enter my master password every time I want to use the browser, but I do want to enter it as a requirement for viewing my passwords in plain text.

Master password also seems to be blocking automatic log in on a lot of websites, so it is doubly annoying. :)

I've seen other people mention they would like this as well, so I think it would be a good thing to implement, which really wouldn't be too difficult to do.

Hi Is there any possibility for a new feature for a full web page translation to chosen language by simply right click mouse button without jumping to the next tab like this extension (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/google-translator-for-firefox/) and (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/simple-translate/)? i.e: translate to English. Because this feature is available in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge and also I think it is beneficial for multilingual users

If I visit a page that I have previously visited some time ago, it is — as expected — brought to the top of my History (when sorted by "last visited").

However, if I revisit or refresh a page that I had visited only a short time before — say, ten minutes ago — it is not brought to the top of the list.

Presumably there is some parameter that specifies the duration within which Firefox will not update the last visited tag for a previously visited page.

How can I set that parameter to zero so that Firefox will always bring a refreshed page to the top of my History?

Thanks. This has been bothering me for some time.

Since I help a lot of folks to set up Firefox, and customize the settings a lot, it would be great to have a way to export and import those custom settings. Sync is no help as they don't have an account/setup to sync the settings FROM. But since sync CAN update the settings, how about giving us a separate way to do the same via an exported file????

Please? Sure would make my time to install and set up a LOT easier.

Hello!

I was wondering if there are any plans to add a feature like this (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/auto-tab-discard/) to Firefox? I tend to keep lots of tabs open at once, and I'd love to be able to pause unused tabs without closing them. But I'd prefer to avoid giving an add-on access to all of my data. So I keep hoping that this type of feature will get incorporated into Firefox. Do you know if there are any plans like this?

Thanks so much in advance and for the work that you're doing!

Chrome has a better printing feature than Firefox.

it's impossible to print shipping lable through Firefox, no matter how you set, it keep on sepate into two pages lable.

I have to switch into Chrome everytime I print shipping lables of my store orders.

I have screenshot to demonstrate the trouble caused by Firefox.

My question is why Firefox can't make the printing feature same like Chrome? if you can't make the same, how to print small lables(like 10cm by 15cm) though Firefox?

Would you find the suggested idea below useful?

Suggestion: When multiple tabs are open in a desktop computer and you switch between them using the cursor, it would be handy if you could use a second cursor-click on the same tab, like this: current way: when tab A is open, and you switch to B, you click the B (the first click), and when you switch back to A, you click the A (the second click); suggested way: when tab A is open and you switch to B, you click the B (the first click), and when you switch back to A, you click the B (instead of the A)(the second click). So in the suggested way there's no hopping with the cursor (its movement reduces at least by 50%) and it is fast and intuitive in situations where you only glance the B tab, or both A and B: BAB; BABA; etc, but it can always be used. I'm not aware if there would be obstacles to this whole idea. The above is just an example of two tabs, but this could be applied to as many as are needed.
