website for example like VK - https://vk.com i can't never sign in/log in.. it keeps telling me The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to login.vk.ru.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

i tried to - delete cookies - delete history - add exception (vk.ru/vk.com) to Cookies and Site Data - private Mode - disable HTTPS-Only Mode - reinstall firefox but still like some other website the same problem.... plz help these websites work fine -- by using other Browsers i can login

I cannot figure out what the deal is. Every time I launch Firefox I have to re sign into YouTube. I have tried the following troubleshooting methods after looking it up.

Type about:preferences#privacy<enter> in the address bar. The button next to History, select Use Custom Settings.

Turn off Always Use Private Browsing Mode Turn on Remember My Browsing And Download History At the bottom of the page, turn on Clear History When Firefox Closes. At the far right, press the Settings button. Turn on ONLY Cache and Form And Search History leaving the others off.

and whatever else you want.

This is not working I have also disabled all extensions and am still having this issue. It is only with YouTube no other site does this to me.

For several weeks now, whenever I close Firefox and shut down my iMac and open Gmail the next day, Gmail seems to forget which emails I have already read, and it marks many old emails as unread. Deleting the Google cache and cookies helps, but only temporarily. This problem doesn't seem to occur when using a different browser, such as Safari, or when using the built-in MacOS email client. Therefore, I'm thinking it's a buggy interaction between Firefox and Gmail. I didn't used to have this problem, so perhaps it's related to a Firefox update? Anyhow, I'm hoping someone can help. My cookies are being deleted very regularly perhaps two times per week and very often it seems to occur after one the the very frequent updates are installed. I have tested this by refusing an update for several days and the cookies remain, but after i accept, often, they are deleted. I have not changed any settings related to cookies at any time and so it does appear that the updates are the couse. there cookies are very useful and include preferences for websites and identification details and it's incrediibly frustrating to have them erased though no fault of mine

I have tried to make sure cookies are enabled at BigFish.com website but I have probably made things worse or did it wrong. Both problems follow me around and please understand I have also been in contact with BigFish techs but I am not getting far in any solution.

I was told to clear the browser cache which I have done both for Firefox and BigFish but I can detect no difference at all. I am still told at the BF website that cookies are needed in order for me to enter.

I am at my wits' end with this and at my age of 83 I feel like I am rushing on that downhill slide much more quickly due to this problem. I feel that I have made some error in my wildly clicking around but I don't always understand the terminology exactly.

If anyone knows how to explain this to me in perhaps easy steps I would be most appreciative.

I’m trying to get to www.indeed.com using Firefox. When I get to the website it says, “checking if the site connection is secure, www.indeed.com needs to review the security of your connection before proceeding.” I used inspect to help find the cause of the issue. It says “some cookies are misusing the recommended samesite attribute” the cookie “cf_chl_2” came up 5 times saying “ cf_chl_2” does not have a proper “samesite” attribute value. Soon, cookies without the “samesite” attribute or with an invalid value will be treated as “lax” this means that the cookie will no longer be sent in third-party contexts. If your application depends on this cookie being available in such contexts, please add the “samesite=none” attribute to it. Another cookie is “cf_chl_rc_m”

I don’t want to make these cookies secure if they could potentially cause my computer harm or steal my info. I tried uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it but it still kept all of my favorites so I’m assuming it didn’t reset and fix Firefox like I had hoped. I don’t have a firefox account on my computer so I’m not sure how favorites came back. Do you know why?

I am using a MacBook Pro M2 chip 2022 and the latest version of firefox. I have also updated my computer. I have run Norton and found no threats on my computer. And firefox wasn’t giving me this issue before.

What do you think I should do?

No matter what I do every time I close Firefox and reopen it all of the sites I am logged into log out.

I have reinstalled Firefox I have tried both beta and Enterprise versions. I have completely wiped all Firefox data from my appdata folders. I have refreshed Firefox multiple times. I have tried to mess with all the privacy, history, and cookies/cache settings and nothing has worked so far.

No matter what I have looked into the problem is not occuring the same for other people. It seems to be local to my PC however, as I am logged in perfectly fine on other Windows 11 PCs in my home.

The only major difference between the last time I used Firefox and now is that I reinstalled Windows11 to fix a bug with its calendar. I completely formatted so there cannot be any left over old Firefox files.

So the whole issue started when I couldn't share a video on my community tab because it kept giving me the error message "enable google.com for cookies". I click accept a few times it didn't work. Then I went to cookies- extensions and enabled both youtube and google in it, didn't work. I deleted my cookies and data and tried again. I had to sign up to all my google accounts. Still it didn't fix the issue I kept getting the same error. Then I went to the enhanced cookies settings went to customs and chose the option "cookies from unvisited sites" This fixed the community tab issue. I shared my video and then went back to settings and set the standard enhanced tracking protection. I got signed off my gmail and google accounts I signed up again and closed the browser.

When I came back my google and gmails are signed out again but my accounts still signed in my youtube for some reason. I keep getting signed off on google but not youtube. I don't have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" option enabled. IT IS DISABLED.

HOW DO IT FIX IT? I don't want to keep signing in every time also I don't wish to reinstall firefox. PLEASE HELP

When I attempt to login to different sites, I am unable to select my saved logins from the drop down box. When I click on the login username box, the login flashes and does not allow me to select my saved username and password. So far, I have tried restarting my computer and unchecking and checking the auto fill option in settings. Please help!!!

when I try to go to Costco.ca i get the error message saying the page isn't redirecting properly because of refusal to accept cookies. How do I accept the cookies so that I can log into Costco.ca? (I can log into Costco.ca using other browsers, just not Firefox)

I am trying to log into an internet backing website, https://www.lloydsbank.com/, and enter my username and password. I know that they are correct because I have changed my password today and saved it in the password manager. The website doesn't log me in, it says that I need to enable cookies. I accessed Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection and it is set to Standard, which should allow cookies. I retried using Help > Troubleshoot Mode which closes and reopens FireFox and I can then log into my bank without problems. I came out of FireFox and went back in, without Troubleshoot Mode and got the "enable cookies" error message again. Can anybody help?

When I sign in to new websites, they never do keep me logged in. I noticed this problem is present only for services that are working for my friends, that use other browsers, so they can keep users signed in. For the websites that I had been logged in before it stopped working, I'm still signed in and I can enjoy not having to log in every time.

I believe it all started happening when I cleared my cookies once, around half a year ago.

I did however check my settings, and I don't have selected option, that clears cookies after each browser session. My password saving feature works as well.

Recently i've started having an issue where all of my browser history & cookies gets deleted when i close firefox. I know that is an existing setting but i have that turned off in all the places i can find. This has only started happening recently and the only thing that shows up in my history are my bookmarked tabs- like it shows each bookmarked tab as if i have gone and clicked each tab in my history and literally nothing else. I have been on my pc throughout the day and have searched many things yet upon closing all tabs & windows everything is deleted. I know this sounds like the opposite of an issue but i rely on my history a lot to help me go back to sites & helpful infomation.

Whatever you changed is not allowing my bank to sign me in without jumping through hoops. They said I need to get you to allow their cookies - how do I do that for a specific site?

This issue seems to only occur when I try add videos to a playlist via the following.

Login>studio.youtube.com>content>playlists>selectlist>EDIT in YOUTUBE> 3 dots>add videos - issue emerges Work-around in Chrome.

Can add to playlist from the video if option (3 dots>save) is there.

my bank says that the latest firefox is blocking my access. it works ok with other browsers and used to work with firefox. do i change banks or change browsers? is firefox going to "fix" this?
