How can I find in which the folder I saved a bookmark?

But once I find a bookmark, I also need to know in which folder it was saved, but I can not find a way to do this.

I have tried everything from uninstalling to re-installing firefox also deleting old Files leftover from uninstalling. tried add ons disabled, updated windows. Nothing has helped. The explorer box will not pop up to choose my bookmarks file to restore. Nothing happens. Also the Backup bookmarks function does not work.

Restarting Firefox in safe mode made no difference. The file name and location are valid but the file is not created, only a shortcut. Restarting the computer made no difference either.
Can't delete bookmarks.

When Firefox apparently updated itself while I was away from my computer, all of my Bookmarks vanished. I did not authorize this act, and am upset since I have a LARGE number of Bookmarks on my P.C. Why did the latest Firefox update seem to wipe out all Bookmarks? How can I recover the ones I've always stored in the Firefox Web interface? Recovering these Bookmarks is essential. Hey guys,
We are creating a HTML file from scratch of URL's needing to be imported as bookmarks into Firefox. The file is generated by Microsoft Excel, which means it has lots of fun unnecessary code in the HTML file.
The Firefox Help is full of How To's from other browsers, however, we were not able find any details about syntax when one creates a HTML file outside of other browsers.
Is there any specific format or syntax the HTML file should be setup in in order to successfully import them into Firefox Bookmarks?

In prior versions of Firefox, the Properties Box used to include a large text "Description" box where I could put login information and other details for that bookmark. Now, in version 62.0, that text box no longer exists. Old bookmarks that I have no longer have this information either.
I used this text box extensively and Firefox was the one browser that had this box. Now it appears to have been removed. Can I get this Description box back? Or do I switch to a different browser?
