Is there a way to sign-in without code authorization?

I got locked out of my email address so i can't authorize the sign-in with the code. Is there a way to bypass the authorization or do i just have to create a new account?… (閱讀更多)

Mozilla, a company whose literal goal is to keep the internet free for public use, ironically makes it virtually impossible to contact them

There is literally not a more appropriate place to post this in a 2 hour online search quest to find such a place. So, to sum it up, Mozilla does not include a, "Contact" link on most of their public facing pages. Only a select few have them. Mozilla offers absolutely no way to provide feedback from what I couldn't find. Any page with the feedback box "Did this help" thumbs up and thumbs down literally results in nothing except the box disappearing when I click thumbs down. Mozilla's emails to their email list recipients have no second form of contact information on them beyond a mysterious unnamed physical address (which is illegal btw and lololol, I am disgusted about this for a company that is supposedly all about legal transparency online). Then, Mozilla's "Contact page" (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/contact/) contains a completely broken map that shows literally nothing but appears to be intended to show geographical regions to contact. They link to a Facebook page without a contact option. There is an extremely limited support menu that looks like it was developed by a teenage web developer and which offers NO link to a Mozilla foundation support option. The dinky little "Get Help" link at the very bottom is the only thing that could even remotely be related to getting general Mozilla foundation help/offering feedback. Clicking on that routes to the help forum homepage which has zero options for Mozilla Foundation or Mozilla pages reporting broken features and etc. The Mozilla Github seems to only be tailored towards the various Mozilla coding projects but seems to be completely absent of actual Mozilla applications such as Firefox. Doing an extremely thorough Google search for the email address of Mozilla or any of its public facing representatives resulted me with absolutely zero results. Mozilla doesn't even openly provide a mailing address to the public on its website from what I could find (this is scary to think about in a scenario where I would need to mail legal documents to Mozilla). Mozilla has no publicly listed phone number anywhere on Google. I could not even find any leaked email addresses to anyone whatsoever within the Mozilla foundation, almost as if they actively scrub them from search results. This seeming lack of connection with Mozilla's actual users is quite concerning to me. Lol, if I were writing one of Mozilla's privacy review articles on Mozilla themselves, I would give a warning sign due to a designed communication-killing wall between them and their end users.

Please reroute this concern to the correct area. I know it is not posted in the right place but Mozilla literally left me with no option on a more appropriate place to leave it.

Hi, it's been a while since I used Firefox and I don't seem to have a way of getting back into Sync with my primary e-mail address since I can't find my backup code. Who do I contact to either get my account deleted so I can start again, or get an account reset option set to my e-mail address? Ultimately none of my devices are logged in, and I cannot find my backup code.

The impression I have so far is that you have to sign in with another e-mail account (which is what I have done now), but this is not the e-mail account I want to use.

If Mozilla are storing my name and contact details for the sign in, would the best route be a formal request for deletion of personal data?

The responses may have been correct at the time, but there is an easy solution to this problem now. However, the thread has been archived so no new responses are allowed. The problem is a Google search (as well as other search engines and even a support.mozilla search) pops up this archived, incorrect response first. In some searches, a correct response cannot be found on the first page of search results.

It would be nice if there was a way to unarchive older questions to add a new answer to inaccurate or dated info.

Now that I've discovered my old username and password it won't let me sign in because I don't meet age requirements. (I'm 63.) How can I get around this?

I've seen the answer to this on a couple of other Q&A posts, but just in case...

On the Edit Profile page, under Username, it lets you delete the existing name and type in your own. And a helpful instruction tells you permissible characters. But if you attempt save the change, you get an error message.

The other Q&A posts say that you can't, in fact, change your Username. If so, why doesn't the Edit Profile page say so? Why does it mislead you into attempting to change your Username?

Also, the note under the Username textbox says, "Keep in mind that your username is visible to the public." So, if your e-mail includes some form of your personal name, and that name becomes your username by default (which happened to me), and you never notice this, you get exposed (such as by posting a query here)? But in fact, the "Keep in mind..." instruction isn't fully true. As one of the other Q&A posts says, if you choose a display name (which is blank until you add one), your username is NOT exposed. But the Edit Profile page doesn't tell you this.

So, the whole Username portion of the Edit Profile page is very misleading. It needs to be clarified. And, when you sign up for Firefox, you should be given an opportunity to choose a unique username. Mine was forced on me in the background, apparently.

so, im lucky enough or ignorant enough not to have used the support forum for about a year now. so, by downloading the latest thunderbird update, things got a bit sideways and i ended up here for instructions. now, i do have (had) an account with the old system. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/user/georgeka thats me!. it is described that it would be somehow linked to a firefox account or something. didnt happen. i decided to manually re-enter my account info to see if i could do it myself. nope. decided to create new account. using chrome i press the login/signup button, but i am taken to a page dedicated to sign in. there is NO register and NO other info. when i type my email to see if i am taken to the next step: Enter your email -> email ZZZZZZZZ@ABC.CDE -> Continue to Mozilla Support, i get the error, Missing parameter: email while the mail shows up on the box. different mail, same result. goes no, futher.

using firefox 88.0.1 64bit, i reach the same point but when i type the email, i am shown the login / reset page.

Following the above subject instructions I want to change ... @suddenlink.net from being my mail Firefox sign-on (they've become unreliable of late) if it stays that way I'll quit that ISP. I saw I had set ... @realtor.com as a secondary, so I deleted it IN ORDER TO ADD ... @gmail.com. My plan was then to name ... @gmail.com as the primary and re-add ... @riltor.com as the secondary.

So much for planning, I found out in trying to use ... @gmail.com that it's IN USE, huh? I probably did that at some point, but I don't recall, and Firefox should show it as assigned but actually unused.

Is there a way someone can delete the ... @gmail.com account so it's not there, so that I can make it the primary of this account as stated in my plans above? I want to keep all the stored data in the suddenlink.net account which is why I wanted to change its email to begin with.

I can prove provenance of all three email addresses as being tied to me.

for example : i still get the "friendly reminder on how to sync my mobile phone" email on my old address. See attached photo.
