When I type in entries via the keyboard, the typed letters/numbers or characters appear as random nonsence, for instance “ :'`zxcvb nghjkl; '`zx cvbnm,. /12345 67890-= ”, rendering your app unusable. The keyboard works fine on all other apps, I have to type anything I want to enter into Firefox into a word document first, copy it & then paste it into Firefox, which is what I have done here. This has been going on for some time & has not been resolved despite several updates to the latest version. What can I do to resolve the problem. I use Duck Duck Go as my search engine. Lately play buttons haven't been working, it may have started with the latest update. It works on YouTube videos but I can't start a trailer on IMDB or play a song on Bandcamp, and lots of other sites aren't working. Firefox 111.0 64-bit and Windows 8.1

bold textmy email address has been disontinued, closed how do I change it without losing info when I put in new email it tell s me its already using it????

I want to check which sites have enabled cookies. I have done this before but now if I click the firefox logo top left all I get is firefox view. I can't see a Tools button or a Menu button. Is this because I am still using Windows 8.1? I know I shouldn't be but there is no chance of a n upgrade at the moment.

I have search engines on the upper bar (Address?). Sometimes, not always, they appear on my desktop. They are annoying!. How do I remove them from appearing on my desktop.

As stated in title. I have ebay as one of my main page widget-thingys but have also tried typing in the address to the main search bar - it simply will not open, but will in Opera browser just fine. I also changed the address for the box to what it comes up as in Opera, but still won't work.

For the past few months, i have encountered regular tab crashes when a website has an on page video i try to access.Also, when trying to advance a You tube video or backtrack, the tab crashes. No other browser does this. I am reluctant to dump Firefox as i have passwords and bookmarks i'd like to keep. I did a refresh weeks ago that only worked for a short time.

• Firefox 110.0 (64-bit) (recent update from Firefox 109.0.1)
• Dell XPS desktop computer -NO CHANGE-
• Windows 8.1 -NO CHANGE-
• Other hardware and software -NO CHANGE-

From the Menu Bar, clicking the "Bookmarks" tab causes Firefox to list my bookmark folders and individual bookmarks along the left side of my screen. -NO CHANGE-

My list of saved bookmarks is large, and extends below the PC screen. I must therefore initially scroll to the bookmark I am interested in. I group bookmarks and frequently want to go to grouped bookmarks, one after the other. -NO CHANGE-

In previous Firefox versions (say 109.0.1), when I first scrolled down and selected a bookmark and went to that website, the NEXT time I clicked on the Bookmarks tab, the list would be at the last bookmark selected. (See Figure 1.) -PREVIOUS BEHAVIOR-

Now, with Firefox 110.0, the list of bookmarks always starts at the top (see Figure 2), meaning I have to manually scroll all the way down to the bookmark(s) I am interested in every time. -CHANGE-

This is inconvenient and annoying.

Is there a setting to control this behavior? If not, I am going to remove Firefox 110.0 and re-install 109.0.1 (if possible). (Please do NOT tell me this is the fault of using Windows 8.1. That excuse would be unacceptable.)

hello guys.i would like you to explain to me in simple words because i am no programmer how to make push clicks notifications to stay on forever in firefox just like the other browsers i use like opera or chrome, and not dissappear after a few seconds(after they appear in the down right screen section).thank you.is there a key i must push in my keyboard to make them reappear?i mean the ones i lost?

Can you tell me how to copy and transfer firefox settings, logins, and bookmarks from a P.C. that will not run via the O.S. ( Windows 7 ) I am wanting to copy from, but the hard drive is intact and accessible via an older O.S. ( Windows Vista ). I would like to transfer the FF stuff via copy to flash drive to temporarily transfer to a Windows 8.1 OS. The Win7 and Win Vista are installed on two seperate hard drives, and Vista still works and accesses the Win 7 Hard drive. Not sure about some kind of security or access allowed messages I get though.

I have just applied a firefox update, and I notice that I can no longer touch scroll the bookmarks dropdown menu with one finger, only with two. The single finger is set to select. Is there any way to change this and return to one finger scrolling of the dropdown menuu ? Thanks in Advance.

Using the hotels.com, I cannot complete the booking. The caches are empty, all cookies deleted; still the same: "Sorry, we’re having some trouble at the moment. Please try again. There are some problems with the form that need to be corrected. Please check the highlighted fields." Naturally, all fields are properly filled, the highlighted field is the c. card security number, that is defaults to blank when the booking confirmation button is pressed. I have to admit, I did try two other browsers and three computers and an android phone. All the same. Again: nothing in the caches, no cookies are present. The only "advise" that hotel.com was giving is the empty the caches. I even re-loaded the Firefox just to make it sure that it has the newest updates Simultaneously, I do not see on the Internet that others having the similar issue. Could you please point me to the right direction/ Thank you in advance,

Hi, I receive every week a newsletter, where are listed special offers more info, etc. Firefox always blocks this page and redirect it to 404 page of this website. However, when I copy the same link from the newsletter and load it to Chrome, there is no problem. Here is the example: 'Actual Link: 'https://www.newsletter.reallusion.com/click.html?x=a62e&lc=K7G&mc=b&s=wm4&u=v&z=SOOKj4J& Result in Firefox: https://www.newsletter.reallusion.com/error404.html This is very annoying and makes me to want to switch to Chrome as a default browser unless there is an option in Firefox how to fix it.

The blocking of mixed content is stopping me from using Ebay. I can't expand photos of items or look at any a additional photos . Most importantly I can't bid. Which is VERY, VERY, VERY frustrating and annoying.

I have followed your help guide as to how to turn off this annoying feature, but they are incorrect!

When I get to the appropriate screen which say 'You are not connected securely...' the tab to turn off blocking protection for mixed content is missing. It doesn't exist! Consequently I can't tun it off and can't bid or look at photos on Ebay.

Please correct this asap please.

Almost as soon as the most recent Firefox update, 109.0, happened, I began having this half tab showing up on the far left of my tabs bar for some site - https://deal2coupon.com/all-stores/ebay.com.

What the hell is this? Did it come with the update? I've searched all over the internet and all I find are all the top Google search returns are directed to that site as if they are a wonderful site and they will do their best to tell you that's true. Bah! Humbug! I even checked https://reports.adguard.com and all it says is it's not on any black list they monitor. (YET!)

How do I get rid of it? Who do I report it to?

Hello there people. Before we get started a little info on me. I am old, decrepit and broken plus a little bit of a moron. Now we have that out the way here is my problem. I have a fairly old windows laptop running 8.1. I am absolutly certain that Microsoft are deliberately sabotaging it so it will no longer work! Not to much of a problem as my brother has given me a Mac. My problem is when I try to sync things on the Mac. Everything seems to be in a different place or hidden on the Mac. Is there a way I can get firefox to look exactly the same on the Mac as it does on windows?

If you need any more info I will gladly supply it if I can.
