Since the latest update, the findbar is not displaying for me. I hit ctrl+f and I can type a word and it will highlight on the page, but I can't see the findbar itself.

In my about:config, the only modified findbar preferences I have modified are:

userchrome.floating-findbar-on-right userchrome.floating-findbar-on-right.enabled

I have tried changing them from true to false, but it doesn't fix the issue.

Coming from Vivaldi, and prior to that Opera Presto. I wonder if there is a way to customize the sidebar to get the bookmark folder to "Expand on hover", or to expand the sidebar button to a few pixels on the entire left side, and keep the tabs on top?

I know this was possible last time I used FF, maybe 10 years ago between Presto and Vivaldi. But I don’t remember if it was a browser config or add-on!?

Since the latest update, I can't see the text in contextual ("right-click") menus. I'm using Version 154.0 (64-bit) on Win 11 for Snapdragon. I've attached an example.

How to deal with this?

As of 20 August 2026 Firefox update, my right-click menu is messed up. It USED to be black with white text; now it's unreadable gray with slightly darker gray text. Putting Firefox in "Dark Mode" brings that back, but makes everything ELSE completely unusable. I use the "default" setting under the Appearance Settings, and always have (as in really always, from the day Firefox was first available). I use "Orion Nebula Center" by Lightyear, and have done for years. Disabling it doesn't do anything as far as the right-click window. I've uploaded a screenie of the specific menu, in case my description isn't clear. I did try a Firefox "recommended" add-on called Stylebot, but it appears to work only on a specific element of a specific page, and not globally to correct the issue on any/all windows. How can I get the black background, white text version of the right-click menu back? Thanks!

my tabs bar, containing several hundred tabs, in firefox has suddenly decided to disappear and i can't get it to show. same for the menu toolbar (the one w/ the open, save,...) never really know which toolbar i am looking for. using latest version of ff and windows 11 desktop tried to get info directly from mozilla, but is the only place that probably has the answer.

what ever happened to support for the browser? it was relatively easy to get to the support area but now it mostly shows self-advertising for firefox.

When using Firefox and right-clicking is there a way to change the color and text of the pop up box? I do not want to change the theme I am using. The first picture is if I right click on the main screen of a website and the second is if I right click on the menu bar/toolbar. I simply want to change the color at the least of the first box into the second without going to a full dark theme or having the white backgrounds of web pages having to change to black. Thanks.

Right side bookmark column pops up when Firefox opens. I close it, set setting to horizontal (which is also always present by choice), but the right column return search time I open the browser. I have poor eyesight and need all the screen I can get.

How do I keep it off?

I'm on a desktop using Windows 11. I apply Firefox updates pretty quickly whenever I'm notified one has been published. The last 5 or so updates have made my Bookmarks Toolbar disappear. Sometimes I'm able to retrieve is, and all bookmarks are still intact, but then the next update disappears it again. *Holding pleading hands to the heavens* Whyyyyyyyy?
