up until this latest version you could delete your search history with a simple right click. This option no longer exists and there is no easily found way to delete "Search History" where did it go? will it be returned? is Search History no longer delete able?

ello. My favorites have disappeared from my Windows 11 PC. It has happened once before and then I was able to get them back by deleting the sqlite file, now it doesn't work and I need your help with ending firefox processes etc.

I can't log into chase.com from Firefox, which I've been doing for years. I get an outage message. But down detector shows nothing. It went on for days so I tried Microsoft Edge with Bing and it works. Is there some Firefox setting I need to change?

Offering some feedback about the VPN Beta. There are a couple of things I immediately notice about it that are lacking that would be nice to have.

First, the option to invert the excluded sites list and rather make it an included sites list. Especially since it has such a low amount of data each month, It would be great to be able to enable it and know it's only going to use data on the sites where I actually want it used. There are far more sites where I don't care about using the VPN than I exclusively want a VPN on.

Another good mode / option would to be able to enable the VPN only for one specific window or even tab group. I noticed if I use a private window and turn VPN on there, it turns it on for all of my firefox windows. Again here, this is a pretty focused use, if I'm in a private window and turn it on, it's for the extra privacy there, I don't need it on for the hundred other tabs I may have open.

Make an option to put the VPN button in the sidebar. Maybe I'm overlooking it but I don't see any way currently to add it to the sidebar instead of the top tool bar.

When the VPN is enabled, show the exit node information / location. So that at a glance I know where websites think my traffic is coming from. Some websites when you log in they send a 2FA that lists the location you are logging in from. It would be really helpful to easily corroborate that location with the location the VPN would be reporting.

Hi, Since three or four months, whenever I log into Outlook live, either on Mac or Windows PC, I get a security warning saying that the information will not be secure (Please see attachment.) When I log into the same account, from Edge for example, I do not get the warning popup. I really enjoy using Firefox and would love to continue but this case is worrying me a bit. Any idea to help? History cache and browsing must be constantly cleared to access various sites. Ongoing, constant event to send this mail. Problem now. I cannot log in Firefox account. It says I have to log out to log into my account. All I wanted to do is to remove a phone I reset and gave away from my Firefox device logins, but everything quit working with all the AI chaos.

When I go to a meeting on meet.google.com, Google Meet says "Camera is starting". My camera light flashes and then stays on. However, Google Meet is unable to connect to the camera.

Upon closing the tab, the camera light stays on and the camera is unresponsive to all apps. The camera must be unplugged and plugged back in to work again.

The issue does not exist when I go to webcammictest.com in Firefox or in other desktop apps. The camera works correctly on meet.google.com when I use Chrome.

I have tried removing camera and microphone permissions to meet.google.com and re-granting them. I have tried deleting all meet.google.com cookies and storage.

I've bought from an ecommerce site for years, using FF as my browser. Suddenly, over the last couple of weeks, I can't get to, receiving a 503 error message.

I can still get to the site on Edge, but I don't wish to use it or Chrome for ecommerce. Either they or you broke something. What needs to be done?

At your recommendation I signed up to Ad Avoid and now FireFox tells me that I could/should not access BT.Com because of the certificate issued by Ad Avoid

The fonts are not rendering properly on few websites, example(apnetv.xyz), everything was working fine with stable release of v146.

The beta versions were having the same issue, i assumed it was related to Beta releases, so I switched back to stable one. However now firefox has released stable v147, the issue persists. Kindly fix it.

Hi Google Maps all of a sudden is not showing the names of places in Firefox. When Google maps loads initially the names show for about 1 second and then disappear.

 I am on a Surface Pro 9.  

Google Maps works fine in Chrome.

I have already tried disabling extensions, clearing cache, and ensure the performance is set to run normally. 

What else can I do to fix this?

No matter what I've tried, I cannot figure out a way to edit or delete the profile from the new profile manager. Both about:editprofile and about:deleteprofile show up as a blank page (with how it looks on my normal profile for comparison). I have tried deleting the folder multiple times, but the icon still shows up in the manager and clicking it just creates a new profile with the default settings. It also does not appear when using firefox.exe -p. I had previously been using the about:profiles to manage my profiles and wanted to see if I liked the new version (I didn't), hence why I was using it in the first place.) I'm currently using Firefox version 149.0 and Windows 11 on the latest version. I have found no solution that gets rid of it. I would also be fine getting rid of the profile manager UI so it stops bothering me.

This afternoon, I clicked on a link from an email and for the first time got a choose a profile pop-up. I do not want this; I have read info on Mozilla and elsewhere about its purpose but it doesn't say how to just stop the pop-up - there should be an option just stop the pop-up because I don;t want to have to choose amongst options. I have started copy-pasting the links in emails and going to Chrome and will seriously have to reconsider using Firefox of this continues. I don't want to have to type about:config or anything - this should have been an opt out or opt in thing and I want out. Thank you for your help.

Over the past few updates, I’ve noticed an issue with Firefox where it no longer restores my previous session when reopening the browser.

I normally keep four tabs pinned and about five additional tabs open for browsing and work. In the past, I could simply click the X to close Firefox, and when I reopened it, all my tabs that are pinned and unpinned would automatically come back. Recently, this stopped happening. Now, if I close Firefox, it opens with a fresh window instead of restoring my previous tabs.

I’ve already checked the setting under General/Startup, and Open previous windows and tabs is enabled. Because of this issue, I avoid closing Firefox entirely, since rebuilding all my tabs each time has become a hassle.

Is there a way to fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
