In previous versions of FFox when a file was being downloaded, a file download window opened for each file. Is that feature completely gone or is there still a way to open a window for each file?

Firefox is screwing my display with a screen logging warning message. Removal instructions are 100% useless.

This is so annoying. I’m sure its simples if you’re a techhie, but for muppets its hopeless, I’m desperate for a solution as i cant use Firefox now

We use the Deepl site for translations and it won't load in Firefox without asking the "verify you are human" questions every single time. The Deeple site does not require this authentication in Chrome but we hate Chrome and want to stick with Firefox. We just have the standard security settings in Firefox, only use Windows Firewall and our Express VPN is not switched on; our IP location is showing correctly. Firefox is up to date.

Since 09sep2026, the "Currently" news area layout no longer displays text next to each photo. Instead there are vertical boxes with photos, then a short column with a few games, etc. boxes, then the right half of the page is blank. I have AT&T fiber internet service, which pushes "Currently". I have not changed any settings. I am still on Win 10, with an HP display. I have done all available updates to Win 10. Thank you for your assistance!

When I save the bookmarks to the toolbar they work fine but when I close and reopen firefox they bookmarks don't work. They are there but inactive and do not work. How do I save bookmarks so they open everytime I open firefox?

Hi! I reached out on Friday and was sent a code that expired in 5 minutes, missed the deadline and had to leave the library. I updated Firefox to 155 and can't find my bookmarks. Also found that a Microsoft update included Goggle Chrome that I uninstalled. Please advise on getting my bookmarks back thank you. I only have 30 minutes left on line. Help! All of my bookmarks, browsing history, and profile prior to Sept 4, 2026 have been erased. Firefox instructions for restoring these prior bookmarks do not work. When I access "manage bookmarks" then the "Library", then "import & backup & restore", there is nothing listed prior to Sept 4, 2026. So there is no file to choose. Also my prior profile has been erased. My profile is completely blank altho I did NOT create a new profile nor did I access my profile in any way!!!

Also the instructions for "restore bookmarks from backup" do not work either. I desperately need that browsing history and those bookmarks. I am doing research for an art history project & those bookmarks for the last two years were stored there & seemed securely in place for the last three years. I need those bookmarks & the browsing history which included sites I used but did not necessarily cite in my research.

My bookmarks included the sole documentation I had of my research for this project for the last two years!!! When Firefox said it would continue to support Windows 10, I had no reason to believe my entire browsing history and/or my previously secure bookmarks would be erased. Как сделать так чтобы при открытии ссылок с панели закладок они открывались в новой вкладке а не в той которой уже что то открыто,типо если у меня активная вкладка ютуб и я хочу открыть твич то при нажатии на твич закладку он откроет в вкладке ютуба тем самым ютуб пропадет и все пипец.В настройках не нашел чет насчет этого ничего,если это нельзя поменять то я ржу и удаляю этот браузер

I regularly login, via Firefox, to access NAB (National Australia Bank) accounts, through their Internet Banking selection. Over the last week/10 days this login has not worked - I get a (NAB bank) message saying "Something went wrong / try again later". Trying again later does not work. (pic.1)

I rang the bank and spent some time trying to sort out the issue. Suggestion to get a new browser page via [Ctl][Shift][P] helped part way. I did get SOME of the new "logged-in page" showing, but not all the account details - blank grey lines were fading in & out like it was waiting to load information. (pic.2)

The bank suggested trying another browser, so I tried using MS Edge and was Successful. The bank has recently updated the "look" of the screen (home page) that appears once logged in. Could there be an issue between Firefox and these new pages ?

I would prefer to be able to keep using Firefox and not Edge.

I want to clear the cache on this laptop that has been in storage for months, but I can't get the instructions question lines to respond when I check the boxes ??? What am i missing?

Since the last update 155.01 I can't use Firefox as it freezes and hangs after 3 - 10 seconds. On Windows 10 , 64 bit. There seems a bug with the last update for Windows 10 users

Not sure the crash report is related to the issue.

The same issue happens to all of my 3 Windows 10 PCs since the update from today.

I have uninstalled Firefox and downloaded again, but same issue happens again.

I cleared the cache also but to no avail

How can I use Firefox again?

I set value to true to disable IPv6 and it worked for some websites, but not all. Works fine in Opera browser. Further corrections are more technical than I can handle. What should I do? I turned on logging, but don't know how to upload it.

I am running 155.0.1 latest version at the time of this writing. I am able to log into Netflix, but cannot play content. Part of their trouble shooting was to disable and re-enable DRM (widevine). The problem is that now that I have done so, I cannot get widevine installed again. Is there a manual way to get this installed, clean up what Netflix was so gallant about messing up on my computer? I have seen some old and sketchy posts on redit and other places that suggest ways to do this, but they scare me. I searched the forums here, and didn't see anything that directly affected my question, although I might have missed it.
