Firefox with only this tab I am submitting this to, NO extensions as it is a brand new OS/machine, memory over half gig, in firefox task manager, GPU is over 300mb. This makes the browser literally unusable, tried resetting, renaming the profile file, logged in with my account, turned off hardware acceleration, rebooted the machine, nothing works...

HI there.

I can login to https://www.cbc.ca using Chrome but with Firefox the login process displays my logged in account information for a spit second (so password is working etc) then cycles back to the login code line. There are no error codes, just this behavior. This started about 2 - 3 weeks ago.

I am running the latest version of Firefox (115.0.3 (64-bit)) with NO ad blockers. Whenever I try to watch videos on Paramount Plus, I get an Error 3005 message. I can watch videos on Paramount Plus on both Chrome and Edge where I DO have ad blockers running. What else can I do?

How can I permanently disable or remove the pop up that says, SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE?

Nothing I have tried can remove it. Does some ace here have a solution?

I have started having with receiving the message "We can’t connect to the server at". This is really bad as I do a search and then can not reach the sight.

Whenever I try to download a file from google drive, I get: "The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to drive.google.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Downloading google docs files from drive works fine, they convert to word and save to my downloads like normal. But downloading image files or pdfs yields this error. Right-clicking and downloading them from the folder view just does nothing. There is no difference between shared files and my own drive files. This error only happens in firefox, I can download files on microsoft edge just fine.

This has been happening for a few weeks now. Things I've tried:

-clearing cookies and cache -restarting firefox, restarting computer -checking for updates and updating firefox -disabling all my add-ons -clearing startup cache -adding drive.google.com and google.com to the exceptions for enhanced tracking protection -switching from standard to custom and unchecking cookies from the list of trackers and scripts to block, then clearing all cookies and cache -attempting to download in firefox troubleshoot mode -attempting to download in incognito mode -refreshing firefox -re-installing firefox by following the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1233618 -turned off real-time protection on computer antivirus (default for windows 10) -turned off microsoft defender firewall

I don't even know what else I can try. I assume it's a firefox error because this only happens using firefox on my laptop - I use firefox mobile and can download the same files on my phone. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi all, I'm having an issue that I've seen mentioned over several years and without a workable solution - I'm at the point of having to transfer all my browser usage to chrome and abandon my beloved firefox. The issue has been 'answered' by advanced users to tell people to 'inspect' which font is the issue then check local systems font book for corrupted/duplicate fonts: however this is not a satisfactory response. Context: see screen shot attached for what the jibberish looks like, and a point in the 'inspect' view that I believe (guessing) is involved. System: Firefox 112.0.2 (64-bit), MacOS 13.3.1 (a) (22E772610a) on Macbook Pro (13-inch, 2020, 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5). This same websites do not have any issue on the same computer viewed on Chrome or Safari. Nor is there any problem on my iPhone on the iOS firefox browser.

Firstly this is not a user-friendly solution for most people, I'm afraid. Opening the inspect viewer is mindboggling for anyone who doesn't code and even for people who do some programming but not for websites (like me), it isn't exactly self-explanatory. I think I've managing to find examples that indicate 'Roboto' seems to be consistently involved in the display issue. Secondly, the step for 'fixing' the font that is the culprit - my local system indicates that all fonts are valid and there are no duplicates. I haven't installed manually Roboto as I'm uncertain where to 'safely' get the font from and my computer is owned and managed by my workplace - with overly strict administration/security rules so if I f-up a download of something dodgy my IT service will blacklist me and revoke my admin access... ** which would mean I'd be unable to do my job!**. I wondered if perhaps there is some security setting due to that, which stops website from loading the fonts they choose? From previous 'solutions' it said that having Firefox preference set to "allow websites to choose their own fonts..." should mean the websites can load as needed. If indeed I must manually download fonts for each and every instance that Firefox fails to display text legibly that is equivalent to Firefox being unusable. I'm clearly frustrated and it's because I love FIrefox and the ethos behind it all so leaving for Chrome would be very sad indeed! Help and a solution for normal users would be so very much appreciated. Also where can I properly lodge this issue with peeps who fix things? There are issues of this kind going back years and for both Windows and Mac Systems so it's not a one-off problem but a recurring one! Hello i am using firefox version 112, but i had issue with previous versions as well.. i got no ad block and i also tried enchanced protection off, for some sites like ebay for example or other sites when i load them , let me give you best example from ebay... when i load ebay i see item description for less than 1 second after that its gone not visible even in private window for other sites simular issues, for some sites i cant see pictures i see them for 1 second and after that they are dissapeared..

I have several bookmarks to various craigslist search pages that I visit daily. Last night everything was fine. Today I can't even get there. I get the FireFox error message "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site. We can't connect to the server https://www.craigslist.org." then the general check network connection etc... This is on my desktop but I can get to it on the cell phone. What gives? I cleared cache and all the normal checks, and have changed nothing in settings at all. I assume if they are blocking me, I could get to the site and be told I was blocked. No reason to block me anyway, so any help appreciated. Oh, I also tuned off all ad blockers and other privacy things running in the background and still nothing.

Firefox seems to crash repeatedly and generates no crash reports, just freezes up my pc. It works in troubleshooting mode but even after refreshing, the problem persists. Surprisingly, it will consistently crash if I go to `about:support` (except in troubleshooting mode). Any help would be appreciated!

Why when have to make a payment and verify with bank when I come back to firefox it refreshes and I have to start payment again. It's chicken and egg and so frustrating. How can I stop this? Never used to happen. I need to find another browser as this isn't fit for purpose. Could someone please help

Dear, I always have a lot of tabs opened and I guess I had one too many opened yesterday. Already I had to recover my settings after a crash the day before. So I had the crash and restarted the pc yesterday evening. All my tabs were gone, so I shut down the pc and started up again this morning and still no sign of restart or nothing of my tabs, history, all my Linux worksheets were completely empty accept for this page... I went to settings to restart the previous settings but it always does that automatically, and it only started the one I was in this morning (the empty one) I tried for a crash rapport but could not find one. How do I get everything back, please ?! I need to get the tabs back before this previous session! Please help... Where can I find them? What can I do? I can't have lost them all ... I will go nuts .. Please help me! My system is a Linux Mint 21.0 version, I think Thank you so much! Nadine

Apps Firefox and Thunderbird are having problems opening links to webpages. In particular, Cloudflare cannot verify (it just cycles between a checkbox "Are you human?" and a browser check) when I use FF.

I use Win11 with NordVPN, but this wasn't a problem before the latest Win11 update. (It also seems to have affected TB reconnecting to Ymail.) I'm now using Chromium to read my Ymail avoid Cloudflare verification, but I'd rather keep using FF and TB apps.

I've been going though Cloudflare, NordVPN and Mozilla online help for a few days now, and I think I've tried everything there.

I've encountered this on several web sites; I'm unable to paste text into textareas that are controlled by CKEditor. If I try a different browser (Safari) on the same web site, paste works without an issue. I see no error messages, but simply when I paste nothing happens. It's happened to me in Firefox on two completely different web sites that are unrelated, and probably using different versions of CKEditor (the buttons have a different look).

I'm getting a "Secure Connection Failed" error when I click on the tabs. Other browsers are working. This just started this morning when I got on my computer. How do I fix this problem?

Hello, the Firefox app often stops responding when I have multiple tabs open or when a more demanding process is running in a tab. Also, Firefox stops responding when I copy a screenshot. I have tried the browser without any extensions and the problem persists. I use EndeavourOS based on Arch linux, I use the current version of the system and Firefox.

Hi, I have firefox on my Ubuntu 23.04. When i start it it shows a black screen. I click quit on my system and then i startup and it lunches normally. What am I doing wrong or how to fix it?
