I exported my bookmarks from my Win7 laptop (via FF Quantum). Exported it onto my Win7 Desktop, with HTML extension. Then pasted it to Flash drive.

Note that when pasted, the file displayed as a Blue I.E. Explorer icon.

I then switched to my Win10 laptop, and pasted aforesaid HTML file into My-PC Documents. I then clicked Bookmarks / Show-All-Bookmarks / Import-Backup / import-bookmarks-from-html / this-pc / documents

then i clicked on the bookmarks.html file ...it displayed in the textbox. ......but then it stated "no items" in the grey area below where it states "Names Tags Location"

I attempted to reuse the Chrome fix that was successful for previous versions, but that did not work. I want my Tabs on the Bottom where "I" put them, not they way Firefox thinks I am supposed to have them I am sure others are having the same difficulty.

My Tabs toolbar used to be under my Links toolbar. It is now above the Address toolbar.

How do I put my Tabs toolbar back where I want it (not where Firefox arbitrarily decided to put it)?

Alternately, How do I go back to FireFox 70.0.1?

System: Windows 8.1, 64-bit

              FireFox 71, 64-bit 

Note: My laptop (Windows 8.1, 64-bit) has Firefox 70.0.1 (but wants me to "update" (sic)). It has the tool bars in my preferred order. I'm not about to "update" until I know how to fix FireFox 71.

The audio on videos from YouTube/Facebook/Twitter/any website which allows video/audio play, is cracking. Mostly happens when there are multiple tabs open. What can I do? Also, I have tried doing a full uninstall and installing again, continues with the same problem. This did not used to happen before.

Long running scripts have been a constance daily occurrence every time I use my desktop computer since seems like forever. This is the latest one: chrome://calendar/content/calendar-base-view.xml:198..... Not sure if they are all calendar scripts because I'm not always given any script info, just a non responding error message sometimes. I asked for help once before and tried what was suggested, as best I could, but I still have the aggravating problem just as often as ever. However, admittedly I'm not all that computer savy and am more of a user than I am a fixer. My browser is up-to-date and I also reloaded a new one recently. Add-ons are also disabled. Any help at all will be appreciated, thanks.

Running Firefox 71.0 (64 bit)

Well seems Firefox has been messing this up again.

Anyone have the new work around solution to get my tabs back on the bottom again. They were fine this morning then shut down and went out to lunch and when I came back they were back on the top again after months of being where I wanted them below my bookmark bar.

Thoughts on this?

Every time I click a link, Firefox opens two (2) windows. One with the URL link and one just with my FF home page. And fixes with easy to follow steps? Happens with both my MacBook Air, the old one and the new one. Both are running OS Catalina V10.15.2

Firefox crashes on opening with immediate werfault.exe. I upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 32-bit with upgrade that preserved files & programs. Everything works but firefox. I've tried uninstall/install, uninstall & extensive removal of all remaining mozilla/firefox files and cleaned registry with regedit all relevant instances of firefox. then reinstalled but still failed in the same way.

Hello. In my bookmarks library I have a lot of folders organized in a tree with multiple branches themselves organized in hierarchic levels. Sometimes I don't find the bookmark I want to use by browsing my tree, probably because I didn't put it in the right location in the tree. I can find it by the "Search bookmarks" function but this function doesn't provide the bookmark location in the tree (and I don't see any other way to locate it). Thus I can't correct the bookmark location error in the tree.

Is there a way to locate a bookmark in library folders tree ?

From my public IP of 104.158.49.18 FF ses the web site https://www.publicmobile.ca/ as a potential security risk. FF is reporting this incorrectly as other web browsers show this site as valid. I have included the certificate values.

what is the reason for the error meesage? Someone could be trying to impersonate the site and you should not continue.

Websites prove their identity via certificates. Firefox does not trust www.publicmobile.ca because its certificate issuer is unknown, the certificate is self-signed, or the server is not sending the correct intermediate certificates.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

Cut & Paste is not working either within Firefox or when trying to cut/paste to/from Firefox to/from external file or document. There is no problem with other browsers.

Since the new update, tabs are on top again. And the fix for the last time it no longer worked (as usual) is not valid anymore. What must I do now? And why is firefox so set on placing the tabs on top? Thanks

I receive new emails in Edge, and on my Android phone, but not in Mozilla since December, 31, 2019

UPDATE As of 3:00 p.m. PST today, all my email since December 31 is now showing up in my inbox. What I read in Edge shows as read in Firefox. None of my sent mail has updated, though, in Firefox

I'm making this update at 3:00 pm pst on 1/17/20 but the edit timestamp showed 9:52 pm pst on 1/11/20. How does that happen?

After updating from Firefox 69 to Firefox ver 70.0.1 ad blocking add ons for Firefox stoped working. I tested the same issue in Firefox Developer Edition 71.0b5 and thete it works fine.

Can anyone tell me what me be the reason and how to fix it?

Please see the screenshot attached. Before the latest update, I was able to have a separate list of passwords for each site. Now I'm seeing "From this website" and then the other website. I only want to see the passwords associated with each site, not cross referenced. Is there any tool or setting to separate them?

Web pages are loading painfully slowly, 11-34 seconds, some never load before timing out. Other browser (Edge) is loading pages quickly. Internet connection reasonably fast (35.7 Mbps). I tried the following:

  - Safe Mode, no change.
  - Refreshed Firefox, no change.
  - Disabled Antivirus and Firewall, no change.
  - Disabled Network Proxy, no change.
  - Content Process Limit set at 8.
  - Firefox is using 550 MB of memory (out of 10.2 GB)

There are instances when Firefox does load pages quickly, but they are increasingly infrequent and not predictable.

Up until you pushed ver 71 Firefox on me, I had ZERO problems with Google Voice page loading. Now only the banner on the page load with my acct name and icon and the rest of the page is BLANK except for the never ending spinning circle in the middle .... are you taking lessons in buggyness from CrApple OS??? My Voice account open just fine and fast on Opera, Brave, Vivaldi, and Edge Beta!!! Maybe you (Mozilla) should switch to the Chrome engine too, you are too buggy 90% of the time! PC - Win 7 32-bit, ALL UP TO DATE!
