I've upgraded to the latest firefox, and now Plugin Container is back :(

Please help me put it back to just the one "firefox.exe" process that i've had it set to since Version 3.

I have some demo pages for a plugin on github. Oddly, I can't get the favicon to show up in Firefox (try the simple demo page). They show up in webkit browsers and IE without any problems. The effected pages are "Main", "Simple", "Expand", "Video" and "FX".

Even more strange is that only one demo page ("CSS3") shows the favicon on the tab and when saved as a bookmark, but none of the other pages will.

Since today when I start up Firefox, I get the warning that Firefox isn't working anymore. Even before I see Google (my starting page) the warning pops up. I tried many solutions, from installing again, updating to version 14.0.1, starting my PC again, even the Safe Mode isn't working. I searched on the internet for solutions, but none are working so far. I really like Firefox and want to use it again. I dont have any crash ID or reports about it, because firefox is searching for an solution, but cant find one. After that he just closes the firefox screen.

I have various add-ons - BitCometAgent, Garmin Communicator, Java (tm)platform SE6 (2 entries), Logitech device detection. None of these can be removed by your answer about:config.

Is there another way?

I have Firefox 14.0.1 and all of a sudden I am not able to load Google web page and also not able to load the google calender. I saw somewhere that I if I deleted my cookies it would clear up the problem, it didn't help at all, then I saw that if I reset network.http.spdy.enabled to false that would fix the problem it didn't work either.

  Anyone know how to fix this problem, I use this calender a lot and prefer Google search  I have Windows XP

FF14 is crashing randomly after every 15 minutes. Is this problem a general problem after updating from FF13. All plugins are up to date. No virus on system. Does any one have any solutions?

When Firefox restarts(either from a previous day's session when shutting down the computer or a crash) it takes me about ten minutes to reload each window to find out the title for the webpage I was on. What is causing this and how can I prevent this from happening? Say I have 6 windows open(I hate tabs) and one will actually the site I was on before, but the other 5 just say "Mozilla Firefox".

Hi, I am having the worst time trying to remove Babylon homepage from Firefox, this is what I've already tried:

- Disable and Remove Babylon add on - Uninstall Babylon toolbar from Control Panel - Remove Babylon search engine from Manage Search Engines - Reset all lines that contain something about Babylon on about:config page - Change homepage from Tools > Options > General tab - Clean all registry keys, values and data with Babylon in it - Reset all registry keys to their default values - Uninstalling Mozilla Firefox - Deleting every file about Babylon - Reinstalling Mozilla Firefox - Resetting Firefox to factory defaults from about:support page - Resetting Firefox from Help > Restart with Add ons Disabled... - I have even tried to restore my system to a point before it started happening.

I have already read every forum in mozilla support, but nothing seems to work, I just can't get rid of it and it is absolutely annoying. There is nothing in babylon web page that has helped me.

Do you have any other ideas to remove completely this annoying issue?

Basic info: using Firefox 14, was working fine until i came back from vacation, fired up my PC, and updated 3 things, Adobe Flash, Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit), and AMD Catalyst control center with the new 12.8 update, then restarted.

Have slowly been attempting to pin down the cause. Uninstalled Flash, firefox still crashes. Tried moving the Mozilla folder to desktop so I could simulate a reset, firefox crashed anyway, so i put the old folder back.

Read some troubleshooting pages on the firefox page and went down the list making sure all was updated and then tried running in Safe mode. So far no crash and we are going on 15 min here, the best I've seen so far.

Note: Just realized my Java version was out of date, uninstalled the old versions and installed the new version. Will see if this helps.

Note 2: Nope, Firefox is still crashing regularly. Java was not the issue. Didn't think so, but was hoping....

Since I got up Wednesday evening, I have been getting "This video is currently unavailable" when I try to view Youtube videos, both embedded and on the Youtube page for said video.

This happens more often than not. It only happens in Firefox, Chrome and MSIE do just fine. When I got up Thursday evening and started my system, I got a message from Adobe that Flash needed to update, I updated, no effect.

Apparently, the problem is with Firefox. What can I do to fix this?

I do not use tabs and it's intrusive when they pop up all the time even though I have tried to disable them. I used to use the Tab Killer add-on ages ago but it's no longer current.

I don't use Firefox because of all the browsers, it's the only one where tabs just won't go away by fiddling with the settings, and I would desperately like to use an alternative browser that isn't attached to the less-than-honorable entity known as Google.

I have just updated to the newest version of firefox and now whenever I visit a secure website I am told it is an untrusted connection and have to add an exception to visit it. When viewing the certificate it states it cannot be verified for unknown reasons.

This is happening with all websites including reputable sites like Google or Facebook.

I have tried a few things I found on the web but the posts were all quite old and didn't solve the problem so would appreciate any help I can get

Avast will block the connection attempt. The AdBlock Plus plugin will block it too. The injected redirect looks like this:

web page calls script as follows:

infinite.js is a simple ajax call that reads next [pgn] articles starting at [getNext]. After upgrade to 14.0.1, the script doesn't seem to load with the page. When I switch to console, it takes up to 30 seconds for the script to load and execute, after which functionality is as before. This problem is unique to Firefox and occurs only since the upgrade. All platforms (Mac, Windows) are affected.

I did as instructed (went into config found the browsernewtaburl changed what I wanted it to open) and it didn't change new tabs to my homepage. it stayed exactly the same as it was

Whether I enable or disable the popup blocker it insists on blocking every popup.

I visit and post on a number of forums and after posting it always asks whether I want to allow or not, when in reality all that is happening is that I have made a post or reply to a thread and the page is just returning to include my post in the thread.

I re-installed my computer a couple of weeks ago and this has happened constantly since then.
