I use 118.0.2 (64-bit) because I do not like the newer versions, but every time I open it I have to decline two consecutive Firefox popups urging me to upgrade to the newest version. Since I open Firefox dozens of times a day, these constant popups are driving me crazy. How can I stop them? Thanks.

I have an issue with the address bar in private windows. Normally when you click on the search bar in the new tab page, it will redirect the cursor to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar.

I found the following solution on the forum here that works for normal windows: go to the about:config page and set browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.

For private windows, this fix does not work. It will still go to the address bar instead of letting you use the search bar. Is there another way for me to fix this so that it will also work in private windows?

Hello, Firefox somehow crashed. Opening did not reinstall the tabs. This has happened couple of times in the past 10+ years and I was able to recall from History to reinstall the Tabs. Now I don't see that function in the Menu. Please help. I know there is a time limit to re-install them.

is there anyway to move things from the more tools section of the three lines/application menu to the tool bar, or to quickly access the more tools section. i use the eye dropper all the time and it feels like there's a faster way to do it i cant seem to find.

Email from a specific site is not showing in my yahoo email inbox. I can do a search for it and a list of emails from that site shows up. What do I have to do and how do I do it to make the email show up in my inbox?? Is there a way I can add it to firefox so its not blocked>>

I downloaded Qwant browser some years ago out of curiosity then took this laptop offline. When I allowed this laptop back online, I noticed Qwant and disabled it, as I am accustomed to DuckDuckGo and no longer feeling curious, just want to get work done. Qwant is showing as disabled (under the Disabled heading, and greyed out).

However, when I use CTRL-N, the new browser window is Qwant, not Firefox, not DuckDuckGo.

I check that Firefox is my default browser and the laptop checks every boot-up that it is the default browser.

Can you help? I know there's a line of code somewhere but don't want to do more than I have -- endlessly search the settings, checking that there is nowhere that allows Qwant to load, let alone preferentially loads it.
