Firefox for MacOS will not accept my new Primary Password - the exact same password that Firefox on my iPhone & iPad did accept! Firefox for MacOS keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I am using MacOS Ventura 13.5.2 & Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit).

Is it to possible to set Firefox to use a 2.2 gamma instead of the sRGB piecewise function, when enabling color management?

In case this is not possible, could the devs please consider adding this option? SRGB piecewise function is not appropriate for LCD displays with contrast ratios below 2000:1.

I've been a long-time fan of Firefox's bookmarks management system, but over the past year, I've encountered a persistent issue that's affecting my productivity. I regularly use the bookmark bar and organize my bookmarks into folders. However, any changes I make don't seem to stick and get reset after a period of time. This is especially frustrating as I heavily rely on bookmarks to keep my browsing organized. Problem Details

Here's what typically happens:

1. I add a bookmark to a specific folder or position, either in the general list of bookmarks or on the bookmark toolbar.
2. Sometime later, that bookmark leaves its designated position and moves to the bottom of the unsorted list of bookmarks.

Devices and Operating Systems

• MacBook M1 2020 running macOS Monterey
• Dell Alienware 17 r5 running Windows 10

Both devices have the latest version of Firefox installed, and I use Firefox Sync to keep my bookmarks and settings consistent across these devices. Suspicion

I suspect that this issue occurs when I make a change to bookmarks on one computer and then open Firefox on the other computer. The bookmarks seem to reset, possibly due to some issue with Firefox Sync.

I have just started using Firefox and ticked that every internet tab is Firefox but every time I click new tab, it states "search with google or enter address" I cannot get into about:config to then get to browser.newtabpage.pinned How do I get rid of this Google message?

This has happened a few times before after a Firefox update, but the most recent occurrence was after the update to version 117.0.1. My mouse wheel will not scroll in the bookmarks drop down menu, I have to use the up and down arrows in the drop down menu which is very slow. When the scroll wheel did work in the past, I could be scrolling and then move the cursor to the up or down arrows and scroll even faster still using the scroll wheel and get to the folder I want a lot quicker. The scroll wheel works normally while scrolling through webpages, the only place it doesn't scroll is the bookmarks drop down menu. I'm running Firefox version 117.0.1 (64 bit) on a Windows 10 notebook PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Hello, once again the function of restoring recently closed windows has stopped working, it is displayed in gray and you cannot enter it I usually work on two or three windows at the same time and this function usually works, but I can't use it for the second or third time. When Firefox is launched to maximized, the Windows Taskbar does not display when the Taskbar is set to Hide. Firefox takes over the entire screen. When I use two monitors and Firefox is on the second monitor it the toolbar is visible.

How can I stop this from occurring?

So, no need to use 'about:config' magic and break warranty)))" What does that mean? I entered about:config, unchecked the "Warn me when I attempt to access these preferences", and checked something in there to allow me make a userChrome.css to be available. I still have 1 year laptop warranty, will that warranty become void if I did all of those things listed? The firefox itself didn't come within the laptop though (not pre-installed). And what warranty was that user talking about?

I am getting tired of the all the update, especially when they change the layout of my Browser. Then, my open tabs were lost and became most visited, which was never was never part of my arrangement of my layout.

If you need to do update make sure I can recover the tabs and same layout as before the an update.

NEED MULTIPLE ASSISTANCE. BACKGROUND My PC crashed due to not leaving enough memory, by mistake while trying to reformat my external hardrive which a friend neglected to explain or some other factor

I put a SSD hardrive within the PC along with RAM upgrade originally, successfully installing WIndows on the new drive with no issues running windows. However, the SSD is only large enough to run windows and a few other core programs, therefore all other memory mostly must run on the exrernal drive.

Despite the the format, can the external drive be used in a windows format instead of explorer. That was my friends indication. This exrenal drive has been used soley with windows explorer to navigate (I don not know if this is typical as the only navigation means? just wondering if thats normal...your programers. MAIN ISSUE

I use mozilla firefox and have using Mozilla VPN fairly constintantly for some time. I also use Relay for months aslo (I bielive has small charge now being offred to combine the two?)

I may also be paying for another program via Mozilla/firefox but it simply could have been included. STICKING POINT

As a long time user of these companies, I just want to make sure I am not be charged for both MOZILLA VPN as well as RELAY, seperatly or any other programs on my account charged at what is now a discounted. I do have an open investigation with her and a codefendent with organizations that handle cyber crimes. As some of my emails have been compromised, since changed, please share any unusual activities especially any new financial purposes listed beyond what I want to be able to use again after paying several months without access. VPN in Particular.

I have screenshots of the error I receive when logged into the website. The support staff from LawofSelfDefense.com says everything on their side says I should be receiving audio and video. I have checked DuckDuckGo privacy settings and they indicate that their product is not blocking anything from the website.

I used MS Edge this morning to stream a live episode and it works! I do not want to access these streams using any MS products/software. Something in Firefox is preventing me from Live video and Chat activity on the site. What can I send you to help me fix this problem?

When I start FF I get a Windows popup requiring an admin username and pw to run Firefox Updater. I'm in a corporate environment and users don't have admin rights (which is standard for any company doing reasonable security). I checked the properties on firefox.exe and updater.exe and neither requires admin or is set to run in compatibility mode. Chrome and Edge update without an admin requirement.

Watching videos on Twitter/X doesn't seem to work too well on Firefox. I don't have an account, but I sometimes have to watch a clip on the site. The problem is that you cannot skip the video i.e. you cannot move the dot that shows where you are on the video; you have to watch it from the start, till the end. You cannot also change the volume, apart from clicking on the "mute", so technically here you have the options of full sound and no sound. Twitter has always worked perfectly on the Microsoft Edge that came with the Windows on this desktop PC (bought in fall 2020).

When logged in to the Shopify Website (admin page) using Firefox browser, attempt to click any link on the page automatically makes the page disappear and re-loops to my Login Page. I've worked with Shopify's Tech team and their investigation suggested...1st-remove cookies and cache on Firefox (did not work), 2nd-they tested their site and came back with no problems, everything works, 3rd-Try using Google Chrome browser to see if I would experience same problem of re-looping to my Login Page, everything works...no-re-looping to my Login Page and every link on the page works. On Shopify's Tech team recommendation as well as my desire to remain with Firefox browser, I need to get this problem of "page disappearing/re-looping to Login Page" on Shopify website fixed. Currently on macOS Firefox 117.0.1 and in the last week I noticed I can't authenticate with my Yubikey anymore. The browser will prompt for the key ("touch your security key", etc.). While the prompt will go away after I activate my key, the browser window won't advance past the authentication page. Short story-- I haven't been able to use my Yubikey for any site recently.

How can I fix this problem: when I go to rumble.com, then go to 'name of podcast to support'.locals.com the browser freezes, only the cursor moves, clicking anywhere on the page does nothing. Thanks

When i input my email address into contact forms or payment forms, I always get a pop up box saying 'enter email address' even though I have entered the same email adress I have uysed for the last 20 years !

In the last couple of days, I have been having troubles editing Google Docs documents. Certain actions cause the cursor to jump around in the document.

For example, if I am sitting in a bulleted list, if I invoke the "increase indent" function through a menu or through the keyboard shortcut (tab key), the increase indent function executes correctly, but then the cursor moves to a new position a few lines earlier in the document.

Other operations cause similar movement of the cursor.

I am not alone in seeing this. I contributed to that thread, and on the advice of Google technical support tried various things. I disabled all my add-ons and refreshed firefox. The problem still occurred. But if I tried Google Chrome, I did not see the problem.

The problem persists across different documents.

I observed the problem in two separate environments: on both my laptop and my desktop computers. In both cases I'm running the latest release version of firefox (117.0.1). My desktop runs windows 11 while my laptop runs windows 10 -- both are up-to-date.

However, my wife can edit the same documents without seeing the problem. So, it's something specific to my environment. We use the same add-ons. The only difference I can think of is that I use a firefox account for syncing bookmarks across devices while she does not.
