Deleting accumulated labels for deleted bookmarks

Good day,

I organize my bookmarks progressively, categorizing them by folders and labels. The labels are stored (libraries - above all the bookmarks) within their respective folder "labels". I deleted some bookmarks a few days ago and noticed that I am unable to delete the labels which have accumulated and been automatically recorded in the "Labels" folder.

How can I delete these numerous labels that are no longer linked to any bookmarks ?

1. 1 - first time sending FireFox bug issue. I took 1/2hr to type out my book mark issues, as specific detail as possible so it would be clear why your NEW Update messed up your BOOKMARK function - a first time and was DONE. went to bottom to click Submit. Saw the ask for Images, made the screenshots, uploaded screen shots here, saw your Button for "Data share"- not sure what this is but wanted to help you/help me, so I clicked it, said something next suggesting I Data share manually - link for HOW to Data share manual, decided was too much for my time right now - clicked the top window Arrow "Back" to THIS page AND 40MIN OF INFO WAS GONE!!!!

Don't put a button and ask for info suggesting I click or I move away from a page to HELP YOU !!! then lose all the work I just did. DON'T WASTE MY TIME!!! OMG - WTF!!! this is not a "fun thing" to spend time on during a busy day or ever. now don't care to re-type it and am leaving with bad experience. well done!

"Volunteers" - why are volunteers doing Firefox support work for free?

See attached screen shots. Bottom line-GO BACK TO THE OLD BOOKMARK FUNCTION where I can add a new bookmark AND put it in folder where I want it in 1 step.

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Donc, pour résumer, impossible de marquer de nouveaux onglets et impossible d'effacer les anciens qui ont été conservés. Merci de votre aide. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. I suddenly have random bookmarks along the top of my screen, just below the Google search bar. I cannot figure out how this happened or how to undo it. I HATE this and have already wasted a huge amount of time. Please tell me how to get rid of this plague. It seems to happen only when I open a new tab, but it is really annoying.

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

I am using the version 115.20.0esr (64-bit) and have noticed I have links in my bookmarks, that are either from other bookmark folders but I never copied them over, or I have new links that I never clicked to be saved? I have deleted those I found but some more keep popping up?

Have downloaded the Foxfire browser onto a new desktop and I've signed into my account. I need to see the bookmarks on the homepage as I did on the first desktop. I can see them all, and well organized, in the "backstage", when I click on manage bookmarks. Can you help me get them on the home page?

Using “Manage Bookmarks”: In each of my folders I sorted the bookmarks alphabetically. When I return to that folder, the bookmarks are once again unsorted. How do I make them remain sorted?
