I've had this issue for years, but it was always something I could live with. The Issue would only appear once every week or so. However, recently the issue seems basically happen on a daily basis.

After Firefox has been running for some time and there's a few other tabs open, The YouTube UI will periodically become completely unresponsive.

Just moving the cursor on top of Youtube will cause 100% + CPU in the Firefox task manager and the page is entirely unresponsive during that time (except video playback)...

This issue has persisted through reinstalls, new profiles and is also present without extensions.

Hi, when I use YouTube.com and i find this on "https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=blue+connection+touch+the+sky" I get this popup message ""This page is slowing down Firefox",etc.etc. What happened to the browser? Thanks!

This problem just began today on my Win 11 laptop. Firefox is current - 139.0.4. Win 11 is current. No new software has been installed. Firefox hangs up and will not move. Task manager shows FF is consuming more than 90% of my 16GB memory. I must end the FF task to get up and running again.
