Greetings all, my trusty Firefox stopped working. Error Code PR_Connect_reset_error. Other browsers work fine. I have windows 10 with the latest updates and use Kaspersky Internet Security 21.3.10.391 (m). I have paused Kaspersky, uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox 3 times. I have cleared all Firefox cookies and caches a number of times. On my 2nd Firefox reinstallation Firefox worked ok for a couple of times then stopped again with the same error code. Please note that I am not very familiar with computer stuff so any suggestions need baby steps. Many thanks.

Important update! On March 14, 2025, a critical root certificate in Firefox will expire. If you’re still using an older version (before Firefox 128 or ESR 115.13+), it’s crucial to update to Firefox 128 or newer to avoid issues with add-ons, DRM-protected content, and other features.

HOW DO I GET MICROSOFT OUT OF MY COMPUTER?

EXAMPLE: I NEVER SIGNED UP/IN FOR ONE DRIVE. IT MEANS THAT THINGS SUCH AS DOWNLOADS HAS A MICROSOFT TOOL IN THE FILE LOCATION.

HOW DO I QUICKLY FIND THINGS LIKE MOZ VPN TO DOWNLOADS? I RECEIVE VPN FOR FREE. IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE THAT JUSTIFIES THE COST OF FIREFOX'S VPN?

I found out about a chat gpt sidebar in firefox labs. I am facing a p[roblem where if i close this sidebar, i need to go to firefox labs tab and reopen it again. Is there a quck way, a macros for example how i can quickly open the new sidebar

I have a Firefox account, I have a Bugzilla account (not used for a long time but was able to log-in back!). I try to understand the detail of some security bugs listed in the Firefox release notes by following the link (to bugzilla.mozilla.org) at the bug ID#... but I always get the reply from that site that I am not logged in with the "appropriate permissions". Actually, when I look at my Bugzilla profile (I am indeed logged in), I can't see any permission for that account. Who defines the permissions? When? What/who could change them? On what basis? Where/whom is the request to be sent to if any? Thanks in advance for the help.

I want to know whether I can update my current Firefox version with my very old desktop setup. I am using the Firefox browser version 78.15.0esr (64-bit) on my iMac 2007 running OS X El Capitan. This notice came up when opening Firefox: " Your version of Firefox will start to have problems on January 14. A root certificate will expire, causing some preferences and other features to stop working. On March 14, 2025, add-ons and more features will also break." Following the instructions to update, in About Firefox window, it checks for updates and then shows Firefox is up to date. I've interpreted this as there's no version available that I can update to. Is that correct?

How do I get rid of old email addresses showing in the dropdown prompt box when I'm signing on to a site? The old address/password combos have been deleted in my password manager, and I haven't figured out how to get rid of them at the login point.

I have two computers that I use at different times and for different reasons. I want the open tabs on them to be the same. I am signed in on both computers but there is no syncing happening, even when I go into the menu under my account. It says it's syncing, but it's not. When I try to "Add another device" the option of adding another computer is not given. I do not want to use the profile backup because I want to MERGE the two sets of open tabs between the computers, not overwrite one.

I use the Zen browser and I can't use ctrl+shift+c to view the element, I deleted the shortcut specified in the settings for copying the page URL so that the inspector would work, but it doesn't work, although the correct shortcut is indicated when hovering, but it doesn't work

i had to restore windows 10 (some things weren't working at all after some maintenance) i performed the restore with the option to keep the files i then installed firefox logged into my google account via gmail page then in firefox itself to restore bookmarks and everything else (same google account)(i had to reset the password via google account) now i dont get all the things saved/synced: no bookmarks, no passwords, extensions, etc. please help

For several days I'm not able to log in at Facebook. Without login I can easily open Facebook from results via Google searches. The problem are seen when I try to log in using latest Firefox. Can log in via Chrome and Edge. Tried to disable all extensions but the problem persist. Using Samsung Browser in tablet works fine as well.

My samsung account and google are compromised. Need firefox to shield me on this data privacy viollation... Pls assist me on this by tracking source and identify the person behind this madness.. My Data usage for 1month has been consumed in one day and subscribe my google play account, for the android apps that I hadnt got knowledge. Please assist.. thank you.
