I want to stop Firefox from asking to save passwords. In settings/passwords the checkbox is checked but greyed out, so I cannot uncheck it. Why is it greyed out and how… (閱讀更多)

I want to stop Firefox from asking to save passwords. In settings/passwords the checkbox is checked but greyed out, so I cannot uncheck it. Why is it greyed out and how can I stop Firefox from asking to save every password?

passwords won't save

latest version of firefox will not let me save a password on a new website, it has always worked before, see image for settings. website is not included in exceptions … (閱讀更多)

password retention

On my previous laptop using Windows 11, a dialog box would open when I entered a username and password while online, asking if I wanted to save the username and password.… (閱讀更多)

On my previous laptop using Windows 11, a dialog box would open when I entered a username and password while online, asking if I wanted to save the username and password. On my brand new laptop, that dialog box does not come on screen. Id like to be able to store that info so I don't have to enter it each time.

Firefox is not saving my passwords. Every time I start up my laptop, all the saved passwords are gone. I have tried a refresh and a new install as well, but the problem persists. I have to sync to my other machine to restore them.
