I am getting a stack of these errors preventing me from browsing to secure websites which includes google.com. Luckily my Chrome Browser and Edge Browser work fine. This is just another nail in the coffin for me to close the door on this browser which is just getting more and more unreliable.

For now, I have migrated to Chrome to allow me to go about my business of without Firefox telling me Google.com and many other secure sites are unsafe to browse!

Please bring back the override and accept the risk. I would rather have a warning and transfer risk to me rather than have a draconian rule telling me to use a different browser to resolve the issue. For now, you have forced my choice.

I cannot believe I am the only User to experience this issue. I do not want to delete all my cookies etc as I want to be selective in what I delete but again, this option has been taken away from me as well.

Due to organizational requirements, I need to have Firefox ask for my primary password every time I want to log in to a site using a stored password, as opposed to having it ask once in a while. Changing the value of signon.masterPasswordReprompt.timeout_ms to a small value does not appear to have the desired effect.

I am having a lot of problems lately getting onto sites to shop that I used to be able to go to. One is "www.Boscovs.com" ... There are others, but this one just came up. What is going on? Did something goofy take place with the latest update? Thanks for any help ... This is just SO aggravating. at one of our own web pages the encryption certificate was outdated, so I get the message Warning: potential safety risk detected.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER

I select Accept Risk and continue

It's ok, that the certificate is accepted temporarily and the web page is loaded.

It's not ok, that a permanent Certificate Exception is added without any information to the user. I know, that in former versions it was possible to select, whether this exception shall be permanent or temporarily. Could you pls. add this selection?

I'm using Firefox 105.0.1, german version (I translated the messages above, so possibly the wording is a bit different in english)

About 3 months (or so!) ago, Firefox stopped saving the setting:

Logins and Passwords

   Ask to save logins and passwords

I set it for it to always ask, if I don't, any saved passwords won't load when signing into a site. Now, each day, or anytime I close Firefox, I have to click on Settings and click inside the box. Once I do that, the passwords will load for me.

I have untinstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

Any suggestions or do you know if anyone else has experienced this issue?

I'm experiencing an issue with Firefox only (Edge and Chrome are fine) with a specific site/certificate and was hoping someone had some advice.

The site in question is github.ourcompany.com, which has a certificate issued with the following:

Subject Common Name: *.github.ourcompany.com

And the following Subject Alt Names: DNS: *.github.ourcompany.com DNS: *.github DNS: github.ourcompany.com DNS: github IP: 10.x.x.x

When I browse to https://github.ourcompany.com, I get a SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN message, even though github.ourcompany.com is a valid SAN. I'm wondering if this is to do with validation rules regarding wildcard SANs, or perhaps the order of the SANs. Has anyone seen this before?

Hello, I am a bit concerned, as Firefox never before acted this way. Has this been reported? 0. Few weeks ago computer froze, after restart, bookmarks that I had made new had disappeared and old ones appeared, as if firefox reversed to previous saved setting from hour before freezing of computer.

Now, the main ones that have been happening during last week: 1. Firefox randomly downloaded (twice during last week) some random file with random letters, for example " H3jO5Ni4m.htm". It was always one file, that was a ".htm" file, and it had 0 bites. I then googled about this specific problem with Firefox downloading a 0 byte .htm file, and it has been happening to people for last 6 months, not many cases, but some,still. Peoples comments implied that this is harmless and that it is a bug of Firefox.

2. Firefox today,about half an hour ago logged me out of most websites, not all, but most. Firefox never ever behaved this way and it happens only to Firefox, not any other browser that I own.

During last week I scanned my computer in both normal and safe mode with: Eset Online Scanner (a one time useantivirus program), Avast, Roguekiller, Malwarebytes, Mbar (Malwarebytes anti malware), and never found anything. I consider these programs most reliable, and have been using them for years.

Is it a bug of this specific version of Firefox please? I have version 105.0.1 (64-bit) and problem 1 and 2 happened since then I think.

I used my recovery key yesterday to create a new password as I couldn't remember the old one. After logging in, I tried to get a new recovery key but am asked for my password and it keep telling me it's incorrect. Why is this happening and how can I get it fixed?

I was able to make an export May 2022. I had to choose "Another user" but then it went fine. I have no idea why my windows login doesn't work. But now - and this i my point - the username and password I gave in May no longer works. So I cannot export the data.

Any help on that?
