I have just downloaded NordPass Password Manager. I think I have added an extension for this in Firefox, but I can't tell if it has been successfully added.

I am using Windows 11 Home Version 25H2 OS Build 26200.8037 64 bit operating system

Hi everyone,

I do a lot of downloading images in bulk for my neocities website and its really helpful for me to be bale to drag an image from say, tumblr, to my neocities tab and just drop it into the download box. I love Firefox but I couldn't find a way to use this feature, so I downloaded the QuickDrag WE extension, which allows me to drag and drop images from duckduckgo images, but not tumblr.

Several extensions were recently deleted without my input. Among them were Duck Duck Go Privacy Essentials, Keeper Password Manager, and Apple's iCloud Password autofill. I know there were others, but I cannot even recall which ones they were. Not sure if this happened after the most recent update or later, but it happened at some point in the last 24 hours given that today is 3-15-2026 12:30 pm PST. I only discovered this when a tab popped up in Firefox asking me to complete a survey as to why I uninstalled Duck Duck Go Privacy Essentials, which in fact I NEVER did. See attached pic. Nor did I uninstall any of the aforementioned, et. al. Thanks Mozilla for f'ing up my settings and overall browsing experience across all of my devices without my consent.

Why has Video Download Helper v9 by Michel Guteriezze been replaced by Video Download Helper by vdh? The original versions were perfect. The VDH version 10 vdh is straight junk!

Description: I need help with the "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" extension.

The extension is installed and shows as "enabled" in my Add-ons Manager. However, the colorful container icon does NOT appear on my toolbar, so I cannot access or use the extension at all.

What I have already tried (none worked):

· Dragging the extension icon from the puzzle menu to the toolbar · Right-clicking on the extension icon (inside the puzzle menu) to see if there is a "Pin to Toolbar" option — but the option does NOT appear at all · Restarting Firefox multiple times · Restarting my computer · Creating a new profile in about:profiles and testing the extension there — still no icon · Disabling and re-enabling the extension

The extension is installed and enabled, but without the toolbar icon, I cannot create containers or separate my Gmail accounts. I really need this feature.

I have read that this might be a bug in recent Firefox versions. Is there a known fix? Do I need to completely uninstall Firefox and reinstall it? If so, could you please guide me on how to do a clean uninstall (removing all profile folders and registry entries) and then install the latest version?

My system is Windows (older version, if that matters).

Hi, my extension is 3 days on awaiting review, I release/sign pretty often as it's in active development. Is there anything I can do on my side?

I use Dashlane as an extension in android Firefox on my Acer Swift GO 16 laptop. I use my fingerprint to log into the laptop but in the security settings in the Firefox Dashlane extension I see the message: "Your browser does not support biometrics. To use this feature, install the Dashlane extension using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge." I prefer to use Firefox.

Why is the option to use Biometrics (fingerprint in this case) not available?

Good Morning! I've just come back to FF after using another browser for quite a few years. Things have changed alot here, but I'm loving it all so far! With that being said, have been trying to get a few extensions set up. Main one being Open Link with New Tab. (WHY doesn't FF do that automatically? lol.) Anyway, obviously I'm doing something wrong because it just stays grayed out. I've uninstalled/reinstalled quite a few times. I know it's something so basically simple and I'm overlooking it. HELP! I am wondering what was the exact reason for disabling the 600% volume extension.

Should the users be worried about credential theft or was the extension injecting affiliate links?

I don't plan to use any provided AI chatbot. I want to use models that I have downloaded and tested myself and which run on my PC. So please add the possibility to connect through major LLM APIs, the same way other tools way simpler than Firefox already allow to do.

Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? Thank you for the help! I'm wondering if other AI chatbots, Lumo, in particular, will continue to be added as options to the updated sidebar? An unofficial extension exists (https://codeberg.org/daskashk/lumo_ai_by_proton_chat_in_sidebar) that adds the ability for a link to appear in the sidebar. However, it does not offer the full integration that the official browser update provides to the other supported LLMs. I like Lumo for its privacy, encryption, and the ability to make "Projects." Detailed Description: I am exploring the new AI Chatbot sidebar feature in Firefox (Ubuntu build). As a practitioner in the deep learning field, I am particularly interested in the flexibility of the Web-view container used for these AI integrations.

Currently, the feature appears to be a curated list of providers (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). I would like to request the addition of Grok (by xAI), or more importantly, a Generic Provider Framework that allows users to manually configure custom endpoints.

Technical Specifics & Implementation Questions:

   Manifest Configuration: Is the sidebar AI provider list controlled via a remote settings push, or is there a local about:config or JSON manifest (e.g., within the browser resources) that can be modified to include Grok's web URL?

   Context Injection: How does the current sidebar handle DOM context for features like "Summarize this page"? If I were to manually add Grok via a side-loading method, what are the required API hooks for it to achieve parity with the built-in providers?

   User Agent & Authentication: Are there specific CORS policies or User-Agent strings enforced within the sidebar's iframe/browser-view that would prevent Grok’s X-auth or real-time streaming (SSE) from functioning correctly?

Use Case: Integrating Grok’s real-time information retrieval directly into the browser’s native sidebar would significantly optimize research workflows involving live data, which is a key differentiator from the currently supported models.

The above topic doesn't really apply to this. There was no option for this problem.

Now, I use Firefox Relay to mask my email address. It has always been an icon on the toolbar. It has now disappeared. I would like to use it but can't without that icon.
