Hi,

Since installing the latest FF update (148) a few days ago, I have trouble replying to any topic on this site: https://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/. Prior to this update, there was no problem in replying or posting to the forum.

I do not have this problem on any of the other forums of which I am a member, only this one. I can log in and read posts with no problem, but I cannot reply to any post. I am also unable to start a new post on this particular forum (of which I am a Moderator). There is no flashing cursor when I wish to post, and I also cannot 'copy & paste' a reply either.

I have disabled Malware Bytes, Dark Reader and AdBlock plug-ins, this makes no difference.

If, however, I run FF in the "Troubleshoot" mode, I am able to to post replies to this forum. I have reinstalled FF v148 twice, the issue remains.

Testing the same forum with Opera browser I can access and reply to the forum above, even though with Opera I use the same plug-ins mentioned above turned on. It appears to thus be a FF permissions issue. I have cleared my Cookies and cache but this did not help.

Do you have any other suggestions? I am a FF user from day 1 all those years ago and have no desire to change to another browser.

We use ManageEngine's ServiceDesk plus and all has been fine until Firefox 148 update was installed.

The body of a request where we type details of a case or insert images now will not display anything. The data fields are fine, it is just the description box which appears to be iframe. Other browsers still work, but we prefer FF.

All of the sudden can't use Hotmail through Firefox I have tried clearing cache, making sure clocks are correct etc.

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I am using Firefox version 147.0.4 (aarch64) on a Macbook Air running macOS Sequoia 15.5.

Firefox does not react to links.. This has been happening in several web pages. Links that work on Chrome and Safari do not work on Firefox. This is the last example, try to click on the different shoe views on this page: https://www.skechers.com/uno---suited-on-air/183004_NVY.html ...

When using Firefox to access certain sites on this laptop such as Marriott.com, United.com, AA.com and Spirit.com, after I login and start a search I get an Access Denied message. However, when using Firefox on another laptop I am able to d a search for a reservation on these sites. This leads me to believe a setting on this specific machine has been changed and I do not know how to correct the situation.

Access to the above sites works without any issues on Chrome or Edge.

Two local home improvement store websites are denying access to searching or logging on to an account with them. I have cleared cash and removed cookies and that sort of thing but I have yet to change browsers... Should I do that?

Can't enter text into body of post, ghosted (title allows me to type) on select sites (Kodi.tv). Changed to Chrome no issue. win10/64/FF 148

Strangeness... seem to be able to type post title, but not message body in all the forum threads. trying to post gives me an error and I am loggged in. Just re-installed Firefox.. no issues on other sites, the text body is ghosted... but not the title bar. At this point;  I'm locked out of messaging in the forum. (edited)

I use Firefox as my default browser, and I like it very much.

Problem: I received an outlook email with a link to a Docusign envelope. The link would not connect with Docusign.

Work Around: When I used another browser, Microsoft Edge, the link opened up right away.

Additional Information: I use another digital signature program, Dotloop, and it works without any issues on Firefox.

Question: What can I do to make sure that Docusign works properly on Firefox?

I use Firefox as my desktop (and phone) browser. Recently my desktop cannot open my USBank Online banking service (my Android Firefox phone browser works fine). The USBank customer technical service agent tells me that their software does not recognize the Firefox browser - he says that AVG Secure, Microsoft Edge , and Google Chrome work fine). How do I rectify this without changing browsers? I've used Firefox for opver a decade without trouble. Help!

I have a problem connecting to the attached website. I have deleted both the cooking and cache for this website. I don't have a problem with the Chrome browser going to the same website. What do I need to do to get it working again on my up-to-date Firefox? Thanks!

When I click on an e-edition link for a newspaper in gmail, the link doesn't direct to the correct site in Firefox. When I use Safari, and click on the e-edition link for the newspaper, the link works as it should and goes to the correct page. I would like to have the link work on the Firefox browser. Any suggestions. I think there might be some sort of security thing/action which is misdirecitng the link. In the past, this problem happened with other sites.

To open a Venmo account they send you to get.venmo.com and that page will not open despite my changing various security and privacy settings. Does anyone have any experience with this that can help. I'm using Windows 11 (upgraded from Windows 10) and I've noticed that some -- only a few -- websites still think I'm using Windows 10 but I don't think that is the problem.

I’m experiencing an issue with my website Fixit Home ([[Interior design and fitout company|https://fixithome.ae]]) ). Certain pages and elements, including images, navigation, and layout, are not rendering correctly in Firefox, even though they work fine in other browsers like Chrome and Edge.

I’ve checked:

The website code is valid and loads without errors in other browsers

SSL certificate is active and pages are secure

JavaScript and CSS files are loading correctly

Could this be a Firefox-specific compatibility issue, or something related to caching, security settings, or mixed content? I’d appreciate guidance on how to debug and fix this problem so my site works consistently for Firefox users.
