I used to log into my Vanguard account until, maybe one month ago. Now it requires me to take a picture of a square box with my mac desktop computer. Don't know how to do that. Can I use the old Fire Fox update?

For several months now I am not longer able to use Firefox when signing into sites (Bank of America, ID me) that authenticate using a security device. I have refreshed firefox and turned off enhanced tracking protection for those sites - but no change. When I long in and get to the authentication stage I immediately get an error before using the device; then later when I refresh and use the device Firefox freezes and is unresponsive. It does not show "unresponsive" in Force Quit - but the only way to do anything is to quit firefox. I'm running Sonoma 14, the latest version of Firefox. This is a major problem - I'm using Firefox for security and now I have to go to another browser each time I want to securely sign in to a site.

I tried to sign into my account, but then it sends a code to my email which i go into but didn't get and have waited for an hour but still nothing. Has this happened to anybody?

Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

When trying to log into my work Microsoft Office 365 account on Firefox, a QR Code is supposed to appear, which I scan with my phone and the MSFT Authenticator app logs me in. This doesn't happen in Firefox but instead says, "Touch your security key to continue with login.microsoft.com. I am not using a security key and they are not allowed by my work. This works fine on Chrome based browsers.

Is there some setting that will fix this or is this a bug with Firefox?

I told my banking site to trust my computer but I changed my mind and want 2fa back. When I go to my banking site using chrome, it uses 2fa so I know it is not on the banking site.

What do I need to do for firefox to start using 2fa for this site again? It says firefox browser is up to date and I'm using Windows 11. Thanks, Steve

I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

I am trying to initiate a Mozilla scan on my iPhone, where Firefox is installed. iOS is 18.7.2.

I begin my login to my Mozilla account, and then in the next window, Firefox (correctly) calls for my 6 digit code from my Authenticator.

BUT, when I "leave" the Firefox page, to go fetch the code, Firefox keeps opening a new webpage, and I lose the page where I would enter the 6 digit code.

I had the WSJ.com as my homepage, and changed this back to the Firefox homepage. This did not solve the problem

I'm exhausted. I'm not a techie, but not a newbie either (after many years).

I’ve been hacked. They actually got into my email. I found emails in the trash from Mozilla with had codes on it to change my information I have since retrieve those and I have lockdown with the two authentication and changed my password. How else can I get support as far as this is not happening again.

'Gmail continues to require 2-step verification when I sign into one of my gmail accounts. I cannot seem to turn this off, even though I've turned off 2-Step verification on my Google account. Is Firefox part of this situation?

I didn't save the code properly on my first attempt to save the verification code so I have to start over. How do I disable the first one? I'm on a Mac Book and a iPhone 16

When I want to login with my Firefox account it asks me for a code as 2 factor but I can't remember that I ever signed up for 2 -factor . I have 2 apps fro 2 factor: google and Microsoft but neither has Mozilla identification in it. I would like to sign up for 2 factor but it looks like someone already did that for me. What now?

Pour accéder à mon compte vous envoyez un code par mail à utiliser dans les 5 mn sauf que cette adresse mail est obsolète et je reçois les mails avec un décalage très important, ce qui ne me permet plus d'y accéder. Comment faire svp ? je souhaite conserver toute mes informations et pouvoir basculer sur une autre adresse qui fonctionne en direct

Hi there, I am trying to get firefox to stop allowing outlook to try and get my fingerprint or face ID as my Macbook Pro 2014 doesn't have these features. I am running macOS Big Sur (as this is the only one that still works decent). The Open Web Autentification Panel pop up says "Touch your secuity key to continue with login.microsoft.com". Thank you for any help you might provide!

AND FIREFOX DOES NOT "REMEMBER" WHEN SIGNED IN EVEN THOUGH CHECKED AT SIGNIN

WHEN I VIEW MY SETTINGS,,,,TWO STEP COMES BACK AS DISABLED.....BUT THATS INACCURATE ?? HOW CAN I DISABLE THE FORCED TWOSTEM FEATURE ON THIS SINGLE COMPUTER ??
