Windows 11 x64, Firefox 110.0.1. HTTPS-only mode disables. OCSP enabled. I've tried playing around with these flags, nothing works.

Do not recommend me to click Advanced -> Accept the Risk and Continue. I want to disable the warning forever for all the hosts. For example, Chrome supports flag --ignore-certificate-errors, I need something like this.

I use Privacy Mode (to prevent idiotic dump on my PC from many a website, I hate clutter, due to my severe Asperger's) on my Secondary Monitor, whilst my primary Firefox runs normal mode on my Primary Monitor.

Each time I open a new Privacy Mode, it opens on the Primary Monitor, so I need to drag it to the secondary one.

Could we get an option to open the Privacy Mode one on "Detected Monitor X" (which stands for any option that got detected as monitor)? Would be lovely if we could.

Recently I've noticed that some sections in Google search results pages show black text on dark backgrounds when running dark mode.

It doesn't happen in private windows or in troubleshooting mode, so I suspect it's some obscure custom setting that's causing the issue. It also doesn't happen in other browsers.

I've tried switching themes and changing the colour override settings but can't find the setting causing the issue. I've also tried clearing the browser cache and cookies but no dice there either.

Hoping to avoid a refresh just to fix this.

A site I went to for the first time popped up a message that implied it wanted to INSTALL something in my browser. I sent a message to the site owners asking why their site was trying to install an add-on in my browser with no warning or notice about what it actually was. I was embarrassed to find this was far from true - it just wanted MIDI access permissions. (See included image.)

This popup is badly worded, misleading, and needs to be changed. MIDI access, unless it's been coded extremely wrong, cannot "steal your data", download anything, or force anything involving malware. And it certainly isn't INSTALLING anything, so why does the button say "Continue to Installation"??? The worst it could do would be to play unwanted notes!

The message needs to include SPECIFICS, as well. Which device(s) is the site requesting permission for would be real good to know. Every other browser includes this information when asking to grant permissions.

Please fix this as soon as possible. And fire the person that decided this pop-up was good enough to be in a working release.

Firefox was working like a charm on my MacBook Pro '16 19 with Venture 13.0 macOS, without any issues. But somehow, after I did upgrade to Venture 13.2.1, Firefox started random hangs/freezes after each 30-60sec. And it takes ~5-10sec. I started to get random panics 2-3 per day.

I did not changed anything in the settings. This also happens in Private Window mode. I usually restart the computer everyday. (Eventually a new Firefox instance each new day, before Ventura 13.0 and still do after upgrade)

I have read the followings:

But didn't help me. I have everything (tabs, favs, extensions, works, etc.) so that I do NOT want to reset/refresh ANYthing. I'd prefer to fix the root cause and understand the issue why it keeps occur.

I either change my main Firefox browser (after 8+ years) or look for a solution to fix the root cause without doing any refresh or reset (or something that cause data lost).

Is this a known issue?

Also, in the Troubleshooting Information section below, browser somehow couldn't collect to data and showed a "manual way documentation" button. I clicked it and it redirected me a doc. When I back to previous page, I lost the data I've just written here. So had to rewrite everything... Can you please fix this?

FF 110.0 - Dropdown menu in responsive design mode will not display more than 20 devices, regardless of how many are selected. Does not scroll, as in earlier versions.

Posted a question, received email reply, but doesn't appear to be any way to access forum posts directly. Support area is very poorly organized, mostly just links to boilerplate articles. I've been doing support for SMF over 10 years and seen some bad installs, but nothing as awful as this.

Hi there! I installed Firefox on a new computer, set up my sync account and don't have (or see) all my passwords.

I had almost 300 passwords, now I have 60~ passwords on my new PC.

Can anyone help me?

Firefox updated yestarday. I see these changes: extension are gone, theme settings were switched from Dark to Light, "Startup -> Open previous windows and tabs" option went from checked to unchecked. These things are still fine: bookmarks, saved passwords and history. Tried reverting to older Firefox version, but it didn't help so I installed the new one again. I then checked profiles in AppData folder and I see three of them. The problematic one I just described, the one that was automatically created when I tried to downgrade to previous Firefox version and the one which only contains empty "parent.lock" file. There is nothing useful in "Extensions" folders (first profile has addblock extension file which I just installed, second profile has langpack extension file). I don't particularly care about which specific extensions I used since I can just reinstall them when I need them again, but one of those extensions contained custom written scripts which were running on specific sites to help me with my work. Those scripts are what I really want to recover.

Roboform not working with Firefox version 110.0 on Windows 11. Works on Chrome and Edge. I've always preferred Firefox, but I'm very dependent on Roboform, so I'm migrating to Chrome until Firefox is able to see Roboform.

Can't install Firefox on new WIN 11 laptop. Every attempt leads to the Microsoft store which no longer has Firefox in it or to a dialog that says Firefox is not a Microsoft-certified app. I REALLY don't want to use Edge! Thanks in advance for your help. Steve [email removed from public]

I'm really not sure how something like this can happen but I have lost access to your products. My favorites, passwords, DuckDuckgo, background, and everything. I thought that once I signed into Firefox again all these saved items would come back but nothing has. It's like someone pushed a button and changed my world using all the products that you offer. I don't know how to retrieve these needed items and I'm hoping hard you can return my Mozilla world to me. I don't really understand how this could have happened but I'm hoping it wasn't something I did. I can't give you any hints that might explain how something like this could happen. When I tried to sign into firefox Microsoft Edge offered to provide the password but I don't want to go near their products. It seems when you go that way Microsoft will add a dozen things I don't want. I'd like to thank you for any and all help you can provide to me. Also thanks for your time. Hi. I want to sync with my work pc (it used to work just fine but when I synced to a newer third pc- successfully- it just stopped). When i try to sign in on the work pc it asks me for the primary password which it then FAILS to recognise to allow me to proceed! What's going on? I can't even log onto sites with saved passwords anymore. Any help appreciated.

I currently use Chrome on Android & Chromebook as my main browser, but I would like to switch to using Firefox now across all my devices (linux, android, chromebook). To do this, I need to import my passwords from Chrome to Firefox, and have them sync between the Firefoxes on all of my devices, but it's not working. I have tried the following:

Method 1: I installed Chrome on my new Linux machine. Checked and made sure it had synced my passwords by logging into a website using Chrome. Then, on Firefox, I pressed alt to enable the toolbar, then File->Import from another browser. The pop-up says "No programs that contain bookmarks, history, or password data could be found."

Method 2: Chrome seems to have a feature to export the passwords to csv. So I exported the passwords from Chrome to a csv on Linux. To be thorough (because I am having trouble getting this to work), I used accounts.firefox.com to sign out the Firefox on my android phone and chromebook, then (on the phone) I deleted my browsing data, uninstalled firefox, and rebooted the phone. Back on Linux, I did about:config, then set signon.management.page.fileImport.enabled to true, then did about:logins then menu->"import from a file", selected the csv that I just exported from Chrome, and clicked Import. Import Complete, 332 logins added, 1 not added because it was missing a password. Logins successfully imported, hooray! For testing purposes, I create a unique new password entry, http://foo.com username "a" password "b". Then I go to about:preferences, make sure that syncing is on and I'm currently syncing logins and passwords, and press "sync now". Log in to my phone, install Firefox from the play store, start it up, sign in using my email and password (it says "syncing"), go to logins and passwords, click "saved logins". The only one listed is for foo.com, the fake one I created to test the syncing, but I expected to see all 333 there.

How do I get this to work?

bold textFirefox has become a HUGE memory hog, and every update makes it worse. Would it be POSSIBLE for mozilla firefox to ACTUALLY listen? Instead of ASSUMING you already know EVERYTHING, pay attention to your users.........MOZILLA FIREFOX, WILL USE UP ALL MEMORY(IDLING). There are several THOUSANDS of posts stating that mozilla firefox is a HUGE memory HOG, and of course the people of firefox can NEVER be BOTHERED to listen to the public.

  That is the problem, we are left without the slightest bit of help or service when mozilla decides to intentionally ruin our PC's. And absolutely no one will believe us when it's been stated THOUSANDS of times that mozilla firefox uses up ALL memory(on the net).
   Please do something, we the public are getting FED-UP, with a corporation that "just can't be bothered to ever help anyone". Hint: the incessant updates do more to make the users angry, than "improve a browsing experience". I'm seeing 500mgs and 12 windows forced open just to idle firefox, and this is directly after the update.  email address: jimerb6@yahoo.com. I've been having problems with using Firefox for a while. For context, I'm using a computer given to me by my college because my personal laptop gave up the ghost a while ago. It has a lot of security programs installed on it and I am obviously not allowed to mess with those at all, as my account doesn't have the permissions. Here are some of the problems I've been having:

• always signed out of my firefox account on relaunch (no options enabled that would cause this)
• always logged out of specific websites on relaunch (primarily noticed with discord)
• addon windows never load
• addons don't work, even when enabled, and after uninstall and reinstalling

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox also, but nothing seemed to fix these problems. The only thing that stopped happening was being signed out of my Firefox account on relaunch but I have no idea what was causing it or what stopped it.

Now, in an attempt to fix the problems I was having with addons, I refreshed my Firefox. So far I haven't done anything to it other than sign into my Firefox account. Upon trying to reinstall my addons, I got errors like this: "An unexpected error occurred during installation." and "UBlock Origin could not be installed because Firefox cannot modify the needed file." For reference, here's all the addons I had installed before I refreshed: Tranquility Reader, HTTPS Everywhere, Better TTV, Shinigami Eyes, UBlock Origin, Windscribe, Enhancer for Youtube, Dark Reader, and Bitwarden. I tried installing UBlock Origin, Enhancer for Youtube, and Bitwarden, and got the exact same errors every time. I'm really lost on what to do.
