For reasons I have been unable to determine, FireFox is partially loading Amazon and Netflix and freezing. The mouse will work on closing the browser but will not click on videos or reload the tab. It's inconsistent. Sometimes working without a problem. Sometimes freezing when I first switch on the computer. I've tried everything. System maintenance doesn't help. FireFox uses so much memory, it's difficult at times to get into the Task Manager to assess what's going on.

(Memory note. This computer is primarily used for Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube. Sometimes Peacock.)

Trying to sync potentially added a glitch where I can no longer delete history and have to manually delete. (When I found it the other computer, it said/showed it had been clearing history. But I had manually delete several months.)

Refreshing has no effect.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall but it reinstalled the exact same set-up without a few pinned links on the new window start up page.

When playing videos in Firefox (on YouTube and other websites), the video is consistently delayed by about a second.

-This issue is NOT present in Chrome -This issue is present on both my PCs, both running the latest version of Windows 11 and Firefox -I've cleared my cache and cookies and reinstalled Firefox with no change -I've applied the recommended settings from this article with no change.

Note that the AUDIO appears to be in sync, the VIDEO lags for a bit and then remains noticeably behind the audio. Any advice would be appreciated.

With the latest update of MS edge, it's usurped my default browser (Firefox) and now all standard solutions (i.e. setting Default apps in Windows 11, using "open always as", etc.) are now 100% non functional.

I know I can right click on a Tab and pin it to the tab bar as a no text tab. My question is can I pin it to my windows taskbar? Reasons for asking. I want to know when new messages are posted to a bulletin board site. The pinned tab shows the number of new messages but that only works when my browser if open. I would really like it to work when my browser is not open Suggestions?

Why do I have to keep signing into my accounts, such as Google, Facebook and Youtube...plus others each week when I go back to the accounts. New, since November 2022, computer and for weeks this doesn't happen, but then each week I have to go through security to get into my account.

I use Firefox to access Facebook live, from which I live stream. Starting in the last few weeks (I don't know when exactly, sorry), I now get this error message (in the stream Event log) when I stream:

Too low key frame rate (currently 0.13 key frames/second; recommended minimum 0.25 )

And I get a separate warning from Facebook that the key frame rate is too low, and will result in poor video quality.

If I stream from Chrome, I don't get the error (but Chrome has other problems), so I think it must be related to Firefox. Is there anything I can do about it? Thanks.

Suddenly, I can no longer highlight on my PDFs. This occurred within the last month. It is either because of an update you did, or because I clicked on "Edit PDFs", which I don't really need anyway. But I do need to highlight existing PDFs. Please help.

It's been a while now since Firefox introduced PDF annotation feature and it is a great feature as i always deal with PDF documents that i have to annotate/sign using Huion tablet. However, when in "draw" mode, the PDF viewer scrolls along with the pen, which is makes it hard to write on to the PDF. I have no problem with other PDF viewer/browser that has the same feature.

Upon getting system updates, Firefox Nightly is no longer my Default Browser. Attempt to change wasn't possible, Firefox Browser isn't a selectable option. I have attached screenshots of my findings.

bold textLinux Instance runnning in AWS locks up with firefox version higher than 78. Cyberark does use Xming aplication brokering. I logon to linux instance and type firefox and the page will lockup and I can't type anything in the browser. I have tried different options listed under your support page and ran many search related X11 slowness with firefox and nothing fixes the issue. Is there a bug with a specific version of Xming when using firefox? I have tried shutting down any McAfee services and the following options. Uncheck hardware acceleration about:config gfx.webrender.all set to true, browser.session.restore_on_demand to false, browser.session.restore_tabs_lazily to false and the browser does not lock, but once enter the web page it locks up.

Example when I use Red Hat Satellite , it locks up and had to kill the firefox process . When I add the options above I can get into the web page like satellite, logon etc. but then it locks. I need fire fox to work on a cloud instance that does use Xming since that is what CyberArk has. The python script that use gui doesn't work.

I've been using outlook and gmail addresses and wish to change to firefox but since I am researching the job market for the last 5 to 6 months I need to keep using them at least during the timeframe I need to make the transition. How can I transition without loosing contact with several positions where i am a strong candidate?

I've played video both on Firefox and Edge using AV1 and VP9 codes. Only Firefox has the issue of video stutter when AV1 is played. I've tested it both with hardware acceleration and without and only when recommended settings were turned off along with hardware acceleration video seemed to have improved. Switching recommended settings or hardware acceleration back on would bring back stuttering.

Hi guys, I have been having a problem with Yahoo for at least a month now. When I first try to access my Yahoo home page it either won't open at all or it hangs at random points when opening, this also occurs when I have actually managed to open my homepage and want to open my mailbox. I am using the www.uk.yahoo.com address on a 1GB connection. When I open the same site on any other browser it opens immediately. Bizarrely the longer I am online and accessing the page it gets better as time goes on. Can anyone shed any light on this please?

When using Microsoft Outlook Online, I cannot right click and paste into the body of the email when using Firefox. The paste function does not even show up as an option. This use to work until I downloaded the most current version of windows 11. I can CTRL V and it will paste. It works on Edge and other browsers.

started a week ago-attaching audio &/or pdf files in yahoo email they are marked as draft when they are not and can not send. When i switch to Chrome browser & attach to my yahoo email NO problem.

Have search the web & all settings in Firefox browser but still no answer to this problem

I have lately been unable to sign in on the Bing.com website. There was never any issues till about 4 days ago with it.

Everytime I click signin. It just refreshses the page and nothing has happened.

I did install this firefox extension that lets me use Bing Chat on Firefox browser. It's a legit extension as far as I can tell, and hasn't loaded anything malicious in my browser.

Hopefully you can spread some light on this, or perhaps others have experienced something similar in the past?
