My Firefox bookmark favicon icon not showing, I formatted my system and installed a fresh Firefox, Please help me with this issue. I tried everything. Please help me, this is helpful if anyone can me some solution

When I pull up my settings, it states that my browser is being monitored by my organization. The problem is that my laptop is my private laptop and not connected to any organization, at least, not with my knowledge. When I click on the link associated with the message, it lists two policy names. One policy value is locked with the word true after it. The other policy value is unlocked with the word false after it. What do I do?

Since my Firefox browser has many issues these days, I tried to reinstall it but forgot to leave the box next to “Remove My Firefox Personal Data and Customization” unchecked when I proceeded with the installation.

I don't have any manual backup of my Window 11 system or bookmarks / passwords stored on Firefox. And all Firefox folders now have a last-modified time later than the time when I clicked the installation file. Thus, I guess my bookmarks / passwords stored over the past two years are forever gone. But I would like to make sure that it is really the case so that I can move on and start feeling better.

I understand it was completely my careless mistake. But your kind feedback would really, really be appreciated.

bold textExperienced Firefox browser session freezes a month or two ago. It seemed that some March/April '24 fixes/patches stabilized the app. They are occurring again with increased frequency. What should I do to avoid this problem or switching to another browser? Thx

hello when i write many cell code in google colab and then run all of them when output there and i want to scroll up from last cell code to go to top of page,i have lagging for scroll up in that and this problem just in firefox and in chrome is'nt problem thanks

Well, since I changed to a new computer with Win 11, videos on Facebook don't play right. They are videos that are posted by various people and real entities. They are not smooth. They start to play and immediately pause then jump forward then pause and jump forward. If I copy the link and go to Chrome, paste the link and play the videos, they are normal Never did that on my old computer. Any ideas why the videos don't play normal?

I'm trying to troubleshoot why firefox isn't connecting to my DNS over HTTPS instance running adguard home. Every other device (including another laptop) is able to set the DNS over HTTPS and connect successfully - but my desktop PC instance gets NS_ERROR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. Despite multiple reboots, ipconfig /flushdns, release/renew, etc...

Even my android phone is able to connect to it using the "private dns" feature (uses port 853 instead of 443).

I've been able to verify https access to the DNS server and it's querying successfully. It's just this one instance it won't connect.

I can add the short cuts I want but if I go someplace new Firefox will add it to my shortcuts without permission. This seems to be a new problem, and I don't like it! Then if I dismiss or delete from history its still not removed! Very annoying and may cause me to ditch Firefox for good!

When accessing my site (in attachment to avoid indexing), Firefox blocks with a "Possible security risk" interstitial. DoH requests to the configured https://dns.google/dns-query service work from an external application on the same machine as the browser, but about:networking#dnslookuptool reports the host being unknown.

FIREFOX won't print whole day of my google calendar - now it just prints when I get to the computer and print out the day - but then it skips the morning or night - BUT I can go to Chrome and it will print from 6am to 12midnight .... PLEASE get this fixed - such a pain to log in to another calendar/browser ETC all the time

Since Firefox update to 126.0 yesterday, any video I try to view from the Eurosport website has lost about the top third of the video. Prior to the update, I didn't have this problem with viewing the videos in Firefox, and if I access the website and videos using the MS Edge browser, the videos display correctly. See screen shots below from Firefox and Edge.

The last Firefox update, 126.0 (64bit), that was installed 2 days ago has caused various website's commentary or forums to not be displayed. For example, Yahoo finance page, attempting to read the "community" section of a particular stock such as Walmart (WMT) nothing is displayed. This happens also on news websites that allow commentary. Google Chrome does display commentary but I don't like using Google.

This is not the first time commentary has not being displayed after an update. Happened a couple of times last year.

The desktop pc is running Windows 11, version 23H2.

Is there a url modifier to make it load at the %200 i usually look at it at?

I have tried multiple Firefox Extensions for saving images instead of using the default Right-click "Image Save as" function, so reduce steps. All of the extensions have the same issue. When the filename already exists, there is no failure but instead a (1) is appended to the end of the file name. No message/prompt either to skip/cancel. It just silently appends. And (2) (3) and so on.

Is this a limitation of the Firefox WebExtensions API? Is it not possible to return a verbose failure for existing filenames?

I've been experiencing a great deal of crashes recently, mostly just with individual tabs, but occasionally the Firefox window itself goes down as well. I've tried reinstalling and refreshing Firefox, and I've been doing checks to see if my RAM or other hardware are faulty with no results so far.

I've mostly experienced the issue when playing videos on YouTube, but I've had crashes just casually browsing other sites as well.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated, and thank you in advance.

There seems to be something specific to the Phlearn site and Firefox which prevents videos from auto advancing. They either recommence the just completed video or revert to an earlier one.

you dont need a screenshot. its reral simple i am tired of nothing working right. i have added multiple wallets on my phantom app but it doesnt show up on my phantom wallet on my laptop. i have been hitting check for updates for 2 hours. why wont it update. and if i have to put in a 24 word secret phrase evertime i want to update my extension. then good bye firefox. then why have a check fofr updates button.
