Hello,

I love your browser. However, I have noticed that with each update the menu size has gotten smaller and smaller. Can you please tell me where I can make the adjustment size to my preference. I have looked for addons, and through countless old videos trying to accomplish this but it's simply not happening.

I have the current version for 64bit systems, which is 96.0.1. Please help.

When Firefox 96.0.2 was installed on my Windows 10 computer my bookmarks tab went from white to black. The only way that I was able to get the white back was to change my Firefox Persona.

I would like to be able to use my previous Firefox Persona but until a fix is produced I have to use a Persona which is not my preferred choice.

This is both a request for help and information to those looking for a short term fix.

Okay, so...hopefully somebody here can help me from going, "Mhhmmm! Grrrrrrr!" every time I wanna search something.

    So here's what's up...

I go to my home page, bing.com. I type in a search, and because it pertains to the issue at hand, lets suppose the search was adult oriented, or something that would make you want to change the search safety settings from its default of 'Moderate' to 'Off', as you want it to be. Cool. Great. Sweet, its off, now I can continue.....Buuuuut, no! Nope. See,...{sigh}.....okay, so lets back up a few steps and right now we're at the moment when we had switched 'Moderate' to 'Off'. Okay! So,....now lets say that you want to filter down your search results. So, we navigate over to the right-hand side of the page, we click 'Filter', we select our filter, the pag loads, annnnnd AHHHHHH DAMMIT TO HELL!! It's back set to 'Moderate'. And it will continue to do this when for whatever reason the page needs to reload. Its driving me.......{sigh & steps back}....Ooohh, okay, well.....suffice to say, the issue needs resolving. Like,....NOW! Please.  :-D It almost slipped my mind, but, for the sake of knowing what kind of suggestions you may give,.... Let me just throw out there that I am no 'computer noob'. The last time I went to buy a new desktop computer, I wasn't a member of Camp Cow! What I'm tryin' to say is, I'm no programmer, but I'm quite 'puter knowledgeable. I remember as a kid, getting bored and walking into the den where my dad (former IBM guy) was sitting there, mumbling outloud to himself, "...Wha...? Whaddaya mean, 'Bad command or file name? ...Doesn't make any sense...". I sat down to watch him try & fix the computer, I told 'em I was bored, he said, "Bored, huh? Yeah,....that'll happen sometimes." Gets up from his chair, plants his hand on the backrest, stands up and does this sorta,...two and a half step, 'walk' across the room to the closet, which is like, two feet from me.... Still with his one hand on the chair's back rest, with the other, he reaches up into the closet to the little book shelf in there, grabs a book I've seen him use a number of times before, takes it down, half pulls * half 'back steps' back into his chair, playfully flings his book holding hand toward me. It lands in my lap with a sh-mack! of my pants, and my dad being completely serious, he's not joking in the least says to me, "Here. Read this. It's good to know." The infamous book? The user's manual for MS-DOS 5. ...Hmm,...it might of been 6.2. My dad was teaching me DOS commands when I was 8. Heh!.... I'm sorry, that went a bit longer than I had imagined. Well, I guess I'll chalk it up to, 'Taking the opportunity to tell a 'I remember when' story about my dad. He died last year. November 8th. He was 86. Best dad you could ever know.

Hey thank you in advance, if you're able to help. Thanks & take care!

>>>>>Search Suggestions Choose how suggestions from search engines appear.<<<<< I cannot get >>>>>Show search suggestion ahead of browsing history in address bar history<<<<< to stay un-checked.

When I find-out still being listed, I go back and find only that part remaining checked, I cannot uncheck it, unless I check >>>>>Provide search engines<<<<<. If I leave it like that, nothing changes. If also un-check >>>>>Provide search engines<<<<<, nothing at all is checked, still I cannot get >>>>>Show search suggestion ahead of browsing history in address bar history<<<<< to stay un-checked.

I tried to find a save changes button, but cannot. I assume changes are saved automatically, considering all the rest of the changes are as they should be.

I have reloaded Firefox on my computer, as default browser.

I changed to another browser for about 2 weeks, and decided Firefox was the browser for me, but I can't seem to get a "clippingsbackup" to open on my computer.

It doesn't look like I have any clippings at this time, I don't remember getting rid of all past firefox information, when I changed browsers, but something is different now

Hi, I'm very lost as to why Firefox has suddenly starting crashing on me very frequently over the past 3 or so days, after Firefox's latest update. I first noticed it when I tried watching streams on Twitch, then I also noticed it on YouTube, and then when casually browsing Reddit. I've gone through all the troubleshooting steps:

  • I've made sure Windows is up to date
  • Firefox is up to date
  • My drivers are all up to date
  • There are no viruses/malware/any issues with my firewall settings and computer security, I've tested and checked everything
  • The crashes DO still happen in Troubleshooting Mode
  • I've checked my RAM using Windows Memory Diagnostic for errors and there are none
  • I've refreshed Firefox, I've cleared my cache, I've done an entire clean uninstall and reinstall of Firefox
  • I'm able to watch streams, videos, and browse Reddit just fine on my other devices and on Google Chrome. This is only an issue I'm encountering with Firefox, which is super disappointing because I've never had a single issue in the past several years I've been using it as my browser ):

I've submitted so many crash reports because it's been crashing so often, but here's the Report ID of the most recent: bp-0b0dac91-ec69-4c9e-a8c0-a622b0220116

I'm so confused and have no idea why this is happening. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I always have automatic updates enabled, using latest Firefox version. I have enabled the options 'Open Previous Windows and tabs' or in earlier versions it was 'restore previous sessions' on my system windows 10 pro from past 2 years.

I have lost about 15+ precious tabs in firefox (1 week of my research work). Even in history it is not showing those tabs.

I was doing my research work / thesis, gone through about 500+ webpages / articles and selected the best, and aligned the tabs in sequence. Today i have opened the 'Private Window' doing some surfing, After few minutes I closed my 'Firefox window of research' as that was using 'too much' amount of ram. After 15 minutes i have closed the 'Private Window' also.

When i opened firefox again all my tabs of Research Windows (1 week of my work) are gone, not even in history.

I must be using Google Chrome for that because chrome does not have any issues with 'Restoring Sessions' with 'Incognito Window'.

When opening new tabs, sometimes they just stay blank and do not work. You can refresh the blank tab or enter another thing in the search bar or website bar and it will still not work. I have to keep opening tabs until I can get one to work. It is really annoying and if it doesn't get fixed I will have to change to a different browser. I have tried resetting firefox and debugging it.

Hello.

When I try to convert an image to WebP via Squoosh.app using Firefox vs. Chrome then Firefix shows large blotches of bright/dark streaks going diagonally from upper left to lower right. Other output image formats don't seem to be affected.

This not only happens in the display of the Squoosh.app website, but also with destination images saved to disk.

I opened up Mozilla and noticed that my bookmarks bar was empty and can't figure out why my bookmarks are "gone" (but still registered by Firefox), or how to put them back into my bookmarks bar. The only thing I can think of that might have caused this is that I accidentally clicked on the "Import bookmarks" button at some point during the last time I was using Firefox, but I'm not sure if that would cause my bookmarks to disappear.

Is there any way to restore my bookmarks bar?

Hi, recently I setup a home server for my local lan. Through the use of AdGuardHome and Nginx Proxy Manager, I have attempted to redirect websites I wish to avoid (in this case adult websites). The problem is that Firefix gives the error code MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT and won't allow me to create an exception. As an example, i've tried redirecting google.com to duckduckgo.com. I've looked up solutions to this but nothing has helped. Thanks
