I had posted this earlier and got a response or at least I was sent a link to a post that supposedly dealt with this issue.

That said, my original post was deleted and I cold not repond.

Because I need to say this "fix" isn't permanent, or perhaps I did it wrong. Nevertheless, the fix only takes as long as I have the browser open. If I close it, and reopen it, my view is overly large again.

So, at least for me, my issue with the view in Firefox has not been solved.

All my menu texts are so TINY now, that I can't read them, but the browser page is SO WIDE that I can't ever see a whole page and I have to scroll from side to side to read things, which is a ROYAL PAIN as I miss seeing a lot of things. No one can seem to help. I tried the limited percentage things, 67% used to work but now that is too big and when I go smaller I can't read ANY of the text, it is TOO TINY! I can't do my work! The screen shot won't paste on here.

I've tried post in the thread 1287660 but it was closed. So, I opened this thread to continue about this subject and to answer the last question of the thread 1287660, at the same time. P.S.: I am newbie here and I don't know when the 1st post is the solution at the same time.

As from v100.0, Firefox allows users to "set their preferred color schemes for websites".

Ironically, this does not addresses complaints from users, including me, who wish for a consistent Light theme all across Firefox.

Even if "Web site appearance" is set as Light, the following still remain dark:

• Background of main drop-down menu (Containing "Sync and save data", "New tab", "Print", "Settings", etc)
• Background of right-click menu (Containing the refresh icon, "Save page as", "View page source", etc)
• Background of "Please enter primary password" menu
• Background of auto-filled user name and password menus
• Background of elements in a bookmark folder
• Background of Downloads menu
• Background of Print menu
• Background of "Clear all history" menu
• Background of "Find on this page" menu
• Background of "You are about to close X tabs" warning menu
• Colour of title bar for "About Mozilla Firefox" window, when the window is not currently active

Being able to set "browser.theme.toolbar-theme" permanently as 2 would fix all of the above, but users are still (Note: Since v96.0, when this complaint was raised) prevented from doing so. Why?

My issue is that I have a huge amount of likes in my Instagram interactions and I would prefer to not have to just manually scroll. There are extensions that if the scrollbar is at the edge of my browser screen they all work. but sadly if its a scrollbar not at the edge of my browser screen they do not take affect.

just inform me what you need me to get to get from the body inspect element in order to know what element is the scrollbar i will do that for you!

i just want this to be able to be autoscrolled, but the extensions wont do it

Since about 2 weeks ago many AOL attachments are not opening (pdf.s are but others eg Word not). I have read thru' previous messages on this (in 2021) but turning off enhanced tracking has not fixed it. My attachments open in Edge and Chrome. Like others I would like to stay with Firefox but cannot live with this problem. Help please

windows 10 pro pc show all the booklinks however, synch to an Iphone 14 to ipad 9th generation and it does not synch. I have tried all the fixes and nothing works. I dont care what you are going to say to make it sound okay, it is NOT OKAY AT ALL. Mozilla Firefox supposed to be a Privacy Browser is not making business with Meta -> Facebook, lately i really question the mental health of Mozilla, first a unique identifier, now a partnership with zucking facebook, what's next? Let me tell you something, if you are a privacy company then get the zuck away from companies who don't give a damn zuck about privacy -> facebook, mozilla can NOT simply make a deal with facebook and claim "oh dont worry it's ok your privacy is secure, bullsh!t.

You know what, i have been using Firefox since i first accessed the internet with a webbrowser, now hear this -> one more negative thing from mozilla and that's it, bye mozilla you have lost your way.

While this is only me speaking here, MANY people have already quit firefox because of what mozilla has been doing recently. Continue what you are doing now, and soon your greatest product -> firefox will be dead. When privacy partners with tracking & spyware this is the definition of suicidal behaviour. I really worry about Mozillas Mental Health lately.
