when updating to latest firefox browser, all my tabs are gone. "Restore tabs" is not appearing as an option.

1 - any troubleshooting tips? 2 - does this happen everytime when updating firefox?

I'm not sure that I can get any help with my problem but I need to try. Always after a format of my PC when I reinstall new windows and log in to my Mozilla account my saved tabs come back with my account. This time it didn't happen. Can I get any data restoration or something like that? I formatted my PC on November 21. Can I somehow get them back from one day before?

Hello. I was having issues with my open tabs in FF crashing in the past 24 hours. I had to restart FF this morning to get the problem to stop.

To my dismay, it appears that all of my Onetab data saved over the past year was wiped out in the process. I'm a writer, and I save these links for article research, and would like to recover as many as possible.

Any assistance would be appreciated! I use Idrive for backup, and would need to know the directory pathway if they were to help me to recover this data (if that's even possible).

It seems every time I update Firefox they add something else I don't like. Recently, I did the update, and now my tabs are too tall and I can't access my menu, and/or they interfere with the Min and Max l buttons on the top right.

How do I adjust the height of the tabs so they don't go all the way to the top of the browser screen?

Hello there. I need some help in getting rid of that smaller google search tab in my upper left hand corner. I have google search as my search engine in Firefox. That works just fine. It comes up in middle of my page like it should. When i go to open up Firefox on my desktop it opens up just fine but on upper left hand corner of google search page there is another google search tab which is much smaller. I don't want that at all. How do i get rid of it and just have the bigger google search in middle of page. Thank You. [removed email from public]

On twitter, if i middle mouse click on a tweet, it open in a new tab and switch immediately to it, even if the setting is disabled

Middle Mouse clicking on links anywhere else works as it should, it only do it on twitter for some reasons. Shift middle mouse doesn't work either

But clicking on an IMAGE on twitter does work normally.

This isn't a constant issue for me, but occasionally the browser will suddenly break such that when I switch tabs, nothing actually updates until I do something like restore/maximise the window. I can still interact with the page itself, but whether using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts, changing, opening, or closing tabs, or even typing in the navigation bar, won't do anything until I resize the window again. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern to when this state triggers, but after it does, it doesn't clear up without closing and reopening the browser. I have recorded a video showing this behavior but I am unable to upload it here, and still images would not properly convey the issue.

I am hopeful you will be able to help me. All open tabs NOW disappear after power failure or Comcast temporarily loses service or I restart my computer. This never happened to me before ~ if my computer was affected by outage or I manually restarted it a message came up to click on asking if I wanted my tabs restored. 1 click and they were restored ~ that option is not available to me now. It's frustrating and time consuming for me to "look" for, and "try" to find those tabs I had open. If someone does respond to my question I won't know its been done unless I receive an email because I'm not certain I can find my way back to this support page, primarily because I cannot remember HOW I even found this page in the first place! I have just started using Firefox and ticked that every internet tab is Firefox but every time I click new tab, it states "search with google or enter address" I cannot get into about:config to then get to browser.newtabpage.pinned How do I get rid of this Google message?

I have custom URL's set when opening my homepage. For the last few weeks, Firefox has been opening tabs from the last session. I've checked the URL's and they are correct in the settings but for some reason they're not loading properly.

However, the pages that load at start up are not these URL's, instead they're opening with the ones in the photo I provided. How do I fix this or do I need to select a different default browser?

I have a spreadsheet with links. I need to open multiple links in the order they are in the spreadsheet.

When I select multiple links and click "option+return", the links open in the opposite order.

I would expect the first link to the on the left and the second link to be on the right.

Is there anything I can do to make this happen?

Every time I close my Firefox browser, the same tabs are restored after reopening the browser. I don't want that to happen. How can I get them to close completely? I'd still like the option to restore the tabs but not every time.

I have lost my "home" icon so have to close and reopen or check history to go to my start page. Also, I can't play You Tube videos at the moment. The little house icon is missing. See screen shot.

Everytime I have to close my pc with updates or if I just close/ restart it or if it crashed and I have to restart everything, all my most recent tabs (when I do restore last session) are gone but I get all the tabs back from weeks or even months ago. It's very annoying especially I do research and study. I really don't understand. It's like going back in time every time it starts again  :( What is happening ?
