So I just switched OS on my desktop, and had to log into Firefox all over again for the first time in a bit, and it turns out that for some reason my saved passwords arent synchronising with my whats saved on my phone? In the past my experience have been that if I ask firefox to save my password on one device it remembers it on all my devices. Is this not the case? Is there something I need to do to manually synchronise?

Firefox is disconnecting my account every time i restart the browser. I've made sure it's not set to clear data when restarting. I found a support forum post for mac where they weren't installing it and were running it from the dmg, but i'm using the firefox that was installed during cachy installation, which firefox gives /usr/bin/firefox, when runnign it from terminal (or anywhere) the command in btop is /usr/lib/firefox/firefox. its really frustrating because i lose my session data, have to log back in again, have to redownload all my extensions, ahve to reconfigure all my extensions every time the browser restarts

I'm on CachyOS on COSMIC de with a btrfs file system. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. I've tried making a new profile. I really don't want to use a different browser, but this isn't functional.

I changed the password of my Firefox account recently, which logged me out of my Firefox iOS app. When I'm prompted to scan the QR code to re-establish the pairing, nothing happens. When I choose to use email instead, I get "unexpected error". This happens every time I try to re-pair. Please help me sign in to Firefox iOS.

what happened:

1: my pc is broken, then I got new system and hdd. 2: I download firefox and login. 3: Press Sync now and nothing happen.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME ?

What I want:

I want my bookmark back.

I used firefox soo many years.

PLS tell me I can take it back.

After the latest Firefox update (ref 02fc63), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing. Tried signing out and back in.

Firefox was somehow reset after windows update restart. I was trying to sign in to sync, but sign in button gets blurred/disabled, and nothing happens then. I am afraid that I lost my previous session also.

I was trying troubleshooting mode too, but behavior is the same.

Otherwise I can login to my Firefox account web, and I am logged in on my smart phone still.

Hi ich habe versucht, die einstellungen zum einem fehlgeschlagenen login mit hilfe von chaptjpt zu verbessern. habe dadurch mein konto verändert. mein password neu erstellt und wiederherstellungsschlüssel ist nich korrekt. auf dem iphone ist alles drauf aber mit dem sekundären email adresse und das password ist auch weg wie kann ich die einstellungen lesezeichen auf den firefox im rechner übertragen?

I’ve been experiencing synchronization issues with Firefox lately.

Current situation: Tabs sync correctly between devices, but bookmarks and passwords no longer sync between my iPhone and my computer.

I’ve also considered an issue with profiles, I currently have three Firefox profiles:

• default-release (currently in use)
• default
• default-release-1

I also used Firefox Troubleshoot Mode (restart with add-ons disabled) to test the issue.

sync-log : The sync-logs show many success-sync entries and only a couple of error-syncs. There are no obvious connection issues (I’m using a shared connection in a rural area). However, bookmarks and passwords are still not syncing properly across devices.

Observed behavior: Sync is active and "functional" Only specific data types (bookmarks and passwords) are affected The issue persists even after signing out and back into Sync, and restarting Firefox on both devices

Checks already done: Sync is enabled for bookmarks and passwords Sync logs mostly show successful operations rather than errors

Hypothesis: A Firefox profile conflict

Question: How can I restore Sync properly without losing my bookmarks, passwords, or other data?

I tried linking my unlinked profile to my email, I made a typographical error there and when I tried to undo it, Mozilla says this profile is already linked to that email. Mind you, I have not even entered a password or verified that email address yet. I cannot even remove that email from the profile now, even if I do and try to re-sign, the accounts page says I am already synced to the typo email.
