I was signed in with FF and synced all data. I needed to re-install Windows, after installing FF on fresh windows and logging into FF account - nothing is synced. What have i've done wrongly?

Like the title stated, I am using sync to basically transfer everything from one device to another. I do not need the sync function after this. So how do I disable sync without losing all the data?

I recently had to factory reset my computer and had to download and sync my firefox account all over again. It's been a week and firefox is still syncing, none of my bookmarks, add-ons, history or top sites on the new tab are showing up. Thankfully, it appears that most of my passwords have been synced.

I've read some other threads for tips and can confirm that I don't have this account logged in to other devices and I don't have a vpn or proxy running. I am able to obtain the sync logs but I have no idea how to read it.

How can I make the bookmarks, add-ons, history and top sites sync faster?

I've logged in on a brand new installation of macOS (Ventura), but it does not sync my logins, passwords, etc. The settings for the sync are also enabled and it works fine on Windows and Linux. Also tried rebooting, but no luck so far.

Hello Please explain to me how to transfer tabs from desktop to Android phone because there is no option on my desktop browser settings and no matter how much I sync, the desktop tabs will not be transferred to the phone again. please guide me

My old PC still shows up on sync. I can't remove it because I took it apart when I built my current PC to reuse some parts. Is there a way to remove it from sync or am I stuck with it showing up?

After updating to Firefox 110 (snap running under Ubuntu Studio 22.04) I get "No synced logins found". The settings still show me logged in to my Firefox account and my synced bookmarks are still there. The saved logins are still there in my Firefox 110 installation running under Windows 10. A similar problem was reported here: Surface Pro 8 recently had No Synced Logins Found while other devices do not have this issue but I am opening a separate thread because the OP gives the impression that this is platform-specific. I am afraid to do anything in the Firefox installation under Ubuntu, for fear of overwriting (i.e. deleting) the saved logins which I can still access on my Windows installation. How should I proceed?

Firefox updated and now all my tabs, passwords, everything is gone. I logged in but nothing is saved in my account either. I fully have no idea what my passwords are, please help!

1. i have firefox on my pc, now i installed it on my laptop 2. synced to my account on laptop 3. the internet went out halfway through the syncing process (only 3 addons or so installed and then it got stuck) so i closed my laptop and forgot about it 4. i opened firefox on my PC and the account synced 5. the addon bar flashed and all the addons except for 3 are now deleted (they are NOT disabled, they are completely gone from the addons page)

I don't remember the name of every addon i had installed but I need them back.

My school email is going to be disabled in a couple of months and I was wondering if there's a way to just change the email associated with my Firefox account, or if I'll have to make a new one and carry over my bookmarks/settings/addons etc. manually.

I have had several computers and a phone synced with Firefox. Recently, my mac book had to be wiped and OS reinstalled. Since then I have been unable to sync to my Firefox account on that laptop. I enter my standard email and the same password as on my desktop, but get an error stating, "Incorrect Password".

Following suggestion from an older thread with the same problem, I installed a nightly build on my desktop and tried to log in with that, unsuccessfully. Same problem. I used my same email and same password, but the nightly build version of Firefox reported the error, "Incorrect Password".

While thinking about this, I checked my newish phone and found it was not synced either. Using my email and password, I was unable to get it to sync. However, I was able to sync the phone using the QR code. So my phone is now synced to my Firefox account.

I really want to get the laptop to sync to my Firefox account and am mystified as to how to track down what the problem might be.
